Garage Hack! How to Remove Stripped Screws the Easy Way.

Old rusty stripped screws and other hardware are a fact of life when you work on classic cars and trucks. So how do you remove a stripped-out screw? This is my favorite trick for removing old rusty Phillips head screws, and the first thing I try every time. This will work for other types of hardware, but its great for the classic Phillips head screw.
It's easy, all you have to do is coat your screwdriver tip in valve lapping compound. It's cheap and available at any parts store. Definitely something you should have in your garage cabinet.
