Do you think It is a good idea to do USMLE 1,2 plus MCCQE1 to boost CV for 4th med student?

You could! But in our opinion it is a waste of both time and money! We may recommend this only in exceptional circumstances.

Tell them about how much tuition fee we have to pay. 1 PGY -5 PGY . Also the stipend is not enough you would still have to pay some fee

Dr. Aarti, I'm interested to know if you have pursued any residency programs in Canada that required significant tuition fees? While it's understandable that there may be expenses associated with training, whether a salary is deemed satisfactory or not can vary depending on individual perspectives.
It might be worthwhile for you to explore extensive research conducted on this very topic, including the valuable insights provided by Nobel Laureate Dr. Angus Deaton, in order to further strengthen your knowledge in this area.
I wish you the best in your endeavors.

@@IMGSecrets my frustration is carms , which was easier when you must’ve done it . We see so many private practices in Ontario because it was possible back then . I know so so many doctors for them it took 12-15 years to get matched into residency programs, a gynaecologist from india , surgeon all got only family medicine I would like to suggest that please don’t make it feel like this easy while its so not

Hello sir! I’m a SriLankan graduated in 2022 January from a Russian University, which is also under the World directory of medical schools. I came to Canada following up a diploma course(Health administration) which ends on August 2024. I was looking for job opportunities and till now I couldn’t get one which would be helpful for my future career to work as a doctor in Canada.

@@abiramithavayogarajah1321 My advise is to get done with the US exams. As you are a recent graduate you have a higher chance of matching in the US. @@abiramithavayogarajah1321 Dr. Chandima has a good suggestion about residency in the USA. Completing the necessary course is essential to work as a physician assistant.
When volunteering, explore smaller organizations and utilize your existing connections. Persistence is key, as it may not be easy, but it pays off in the end.
