@MattySRT I owned an avalanche, a yr ago, wouldn't touch the stuff in my 19 dodge now... it would clog up my avalanche that was made for it... my brother almost lost his car over this stuff cause like you, he didn't realize, he was getting what he paid for... the 5 extra horsepower isn't worth the trouble anymore... your vehicle your rules, but just know that premium will clean out your injectors when they clog, not if... do you baby boy, we all have to learn eventually, lol
Bet anything, my hemi gets better milage, moves faster, saves more on money and fuel and still out performs yours any day of the week... its a 19' dodge ram quad cab, bighorn series. 80k miles... gets her oil change like clock work and hauls ass everywhere I go... got it from a dealer 10k Below asking price and been driving it like I stole it ever since... was the dealer, who owned the lot, personal vehicle. Wasn't supposed to be listed, so in a way, I did steal it...
Clogging is from the ethanol cleaning everything in the system. That’s why you clean your system first if possible and change to bigger injectors for more flow not only cuz you use more fuel but can pass the bigger pieces of carbon. Not ideal really to do it that way but there is prep work you can do to prevent clogging.
Nope. He better educate himself again. Any vehicle made after 2002 roughly is already compatible to run ethanol type fuel through the system. All fuel currently sold in the US has at least 10% ethanol in it already. Your fuel system will be fine. There are some things though you can do to prevent certain problems down the road but it’s a myth that Ethanol ruins fuel systems on newer vehicles cuz all vehicles now days are running 10% ethanol already.

It'll be more expensive than gas soon,just like diesel used to be cheaper than gas.
But until then it’s more than half the price of premium and I get better performance!!

Naw stopped using premium to go to E85. Better performance and higher octane. Hemi loves it!

E85 clogging injectors since the beginning. Half the gas milage and does not work in anything older than 2008, really.

Anyone that knows about going E85 should know that. It’s anywhere between 20-30% depending on driving

It’s cheaper but you’re going to lose 3 to 4 miles per gallon
I’ve been running it for awhile now. I’m well aware of that. Only lost 2-3 miles

Ya this Hemi loves the extra timing from the higher octane. Better than my gas 100 octane tune
