I got the Trojan not to long ago and I love mine!!! And the durability is AMAZING AND CRAZY like yes you can still break a prop but I dare you to try and break the plane I DARE YOU!!! My girl mind you she has like no rc experience and she was still able to the fly the plane there amazing!!!!!!!
This is another great eachine legends plane, these are by far the best small 4ch planes on the market, you guys talked me into getting the p51 about 7 months ago and I’m still loving it… PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE eachine bring out a spitfire I REALLY need a spitfire in my life lol

the airplanes are relatively scale in size to each other. do some basic research and find out. P-47 is a monster airplane. the largest single engine fighter of WW2. the only fighter that was bigger was the P-38. the Bf109 was tiny, as was the Zero. Mustang was on the smaller side as well.
They are bigger and smaller because those planes were all different sizes in full scale. The BF 109 was a small plane compared to the P51 and the P51 was small compared to the P47. The P47 was the largest single engine fighter plane of WW2 and the BF109 was probably one of the smallest

This is the only one I don't have. And that will change soon. And the scale on these are great! I take them with me a lot to just throw in the air wherever I'm at. And you can fly them in almost any conditions!
Absolutely love this plane 👍 eachine is really setting the bar for mini planes....I just wish they would put a brushless motor in them or give the option of getting one with or without....I know brushless = more money but in the end brushless just lasts alot longer than brushed but all in all this is a great plane and being that there aren't alot of big areas to fly bigger planes where I live these little planes are A MUST HAVE!!!!👍if it weren't for the RC Saylors I wouldn't know about 99.9999% of these planes lol and thanks to them all I have in my bank account is 99.9999 dollars lol🤣✌
Just put a brushless motor it to it cant fink what stock motor it is but they definitely do the same motor brushless
I'd love it if they made an eachine Pro RTF version of these planes. Keep the 6 axis gyro and safe mode, keep the propeller safety interface design, bump up up the plane's overall size and wingspan to 18" or 20", upgrade the transmitter a bit, upgrade to an easy access brushless motor and upgrade the landing gear, which is my only gripe about the eachine. The current landing "wheels" are basically just foam washers that don't spin well at all. But I do leave them on so I'm not belly landing right on that 4 way servo throw underneath.That said, I completely agree with you, the eachine is awesome in every way.

I ordered the bf109 from the Eachine Official Store on Aliexpress. There was a 11 11 Special. Less than $100 with three batteries. I now await the Japanese Zero and Spitfire.
I've looked at Ali Express ... how do they have some drones that should cost around $100 or so for $8? Seems like a scam website like WISH to me.
Aliexpress works more like eBay so it depends what seller/store you buy from. In the summer I bought a p51 and volantex sport Cub 500 for $60 and $70 respectively including shipping. Came in 3 weeks. I have less issues with Aliexpress than banggood because they have a better dispute process. ie. again similar to eBay/PayPal.
Also when you see $8 for $100 drone it might be for the battery and it depends what warehouse you select. The Russian warehouse is always cheapest but not available to North America. So if you were to select the drone from China warehouse it would probably be $100. Again works more like eBay.
@@monsterfeet6926 good explanation. I use ali fairly often. Still gets frustrating when they don't ship to the UK except from China. Or only a kit and not pnp lol.
I just ordered the Mustang for my 2nd plane. After watching this video I'll probably be ordering the 109 as well.
Awesome plane
These little eachines are awesome. I just got back into flying again after a long hiatus but knew I was way too rusty to put my 44" Spitfire up first, so I got the eachine p51 Mustang as an inexpensive way to find my thumbs and flying confidence again. These little warbirds are so good. They're extremely stable and forgiving in beginner mode, they're tough and durable and the 6 axis stabilization gyro in safe mode makes this plane ideal and affordable for a beginner's first plane. Great review Saylors! And yes, it's so true, once you fly one you want another one, they really are that great.

The ONLY appropriate 400mm plane to dogfight that 109 with is the P-51. And as soon as my 109 comes in me and my flying buddy are doing just that. Now they need to make a Zero and the Corsair will have someone to play with.

@@HORNET6 Eachine/Volantex don't have a 400mm 761 type Spitfire yet. Otherwise, that would be an excellent fit as well.

I'd say that the P-47 is to scale. The spitfire pilot was heard saying "Nice bungalow, now where's the bathroom?" about it.

Just want to throw out there, I also bought all the warbirds and jets, Eachine, and WL Toys. WL Toy models Suck for transmitter and electronics, but I took they're P-40 warbird and gutted it, and put all Eachine P51 internals and motor and it Flys like a DREAM. Just an idea for people who want different models, some are better than others. Eachine just needs to make these little suckers FPV RTF and let the neighborhood dogfights begin!!!!
I have been dying for the last two years for a 2S brushless 1105 or any 110X version, either with inbuilt receiver or sbus input. That would really rock

I love that this is as good or better than the other 400mm models. I just wish they would have sent a trailer full to the US warehouse. These really are the greatest.

yea all the warbirds fly great.one thing to add is, you can take them all out and only need to take one stock controller with you. cos tried this out and can bind them all to the same one. which is handy to know. thanks for the in depth review as always.
funny thing is, that p47 looks like its the exact same scale as the p-51 and ME-109, if you have ever been to an airshow where a p47 and p-51 where sitting near each other you would know the p47 is HUGE in comparison.

The real Messerschmitt Bf 109 is just slightly smaller than the P-51.
Bf 109: Length: 8.95 m (29 ft 4 in), and Wingspan: 9.925 m (32 ft 7 in)
P-51 Length: 9.83 m (32 ft 3 in), and Wingspan: 11 m (37 ft)

We need German war birds period. Cheap and affordable and all with safe select. Id love to see a Stuka, Heinkle 111, fw-190, Dornier flying pencils, all kits, all permant. You can really get burnt out one P-51's, trojans, russian planes etc. Its about time...

Another good review. That BF109 is fantastic. Suffers the same as the Corsair; less easy to see against tree lines in the darker colours than the silver P-51.

@@TheRcSaylors Not Paul, but I fly all of my 400mm Eachine/Volantex planes on a Radiomaster TX16S. And they fly REMARKABLY better once I finally got the right programming steps dialed in. And once you've got it right, adding additional models takes just a couple minutes. The Radiomaster TX16S is a very good radio.
I've got a Jumper T16 that works brilliant and I'm about to try them with my Jumper T-lite.
I'm expecting that my Eachine TX16S will work too ... 😉

That would be awesome.. get some of these with the Lazer tag set up, so many hits and you go down. (Of course fly it down) but have it do something weird so you know you're done for!

Well prop broke but my fault for risking flying it in 11 mph winds. Going to try another day.
I gorilla glued my broken prop back on (surprisingly cleanly too). I know this isn't recommended plus I have the spare I could have used but I just wanted to toy around Just interesting that it worked. I will note that I observed that this Bf109 from eachine has a lower stall speed than the others particularly when turning.
Wow these little machines are incredible. I picked up my Bf109 in Euro Theatre camo and I couldn't believe how it flew straight out of my hand! In the two gyro modes incredibly stable if perhaps restricted, very twitchy in expert mode but a few more sorties and shell be fine. Today I flew into a tree and also was skimming the grass and "landed", they're indestructible 😂, like to check out the 750mm too. Just makes a nice carefree change to flying my 11 foot span Southerner Vintage plane!
You can also use channel 7 on a momentary switch for the "stunt" switch, love these little planes

what is the point to pay double the price for this toy and not buy p51? the plane is exactly the same, only visual differences which does not approve such a price. I own mini p51 and trojan .
Yeah, for this price you can get a bigger trainer like the bixler 2 or the walrus glider from hk with a cheap radio like the frsky i6

Tail surfaces are HUGE!! They do that to improve flying characteristics, but dang, they made it look wierd with this one.

Range is good but don't get cocky! The range is limited compared to traditional hobby grade radios. I've lost signal a few times on the mustang. Fortunately it throttles down and glides to the ground if it's a complete loss. They're great planes to start in the hobby though! Very tough foam. Just use some common sense and you'll be fine.

Nate, can you yourself fly these things with stabilization off? I sure can't. Both of mine are super touchy and I'm experienced. Other than that these fly great for small fields and beginners. Virtually crash resistant.
I've managed to fly a battered and many times repaired p51 on the expert mode (no assistance) a few times. But have to switch to basic after about 30 seconds...fun though. The corsair is a bit tricky but I had a glitched servo on my elevator but maybe OK now I've repaired it. If you can fly it then you can fly anything lol.

Kinda in love with the bf109, I'm building a printed one I'm scared to crash. I fly drones cuz I sucked at planes but the zohd kopilot had given me a fighting chance. How are the flight characteristics compared to the P51D? Is it better than the P51D? or similar to it? Anyway, this is too much pricy... I'm thinking of buying it when the price goes down. Or, I will buy two P51Ds instead of this one.

nice demo...so it would be nice if you showed if it can be flown without any safe on.don't need to do anything fancy just show the cg is good etc..... yes i know i ts a little breeze...but you have tons of experience imo... plus that thing is very light and extremely durable since its epp... I m complete new in flying planes and have a question. How to you check how much energy is still in your battery? Can you recommend something to check the status?
there usually a way to see the battery level, but what usually happens is the motor spins slower (You can feel it slow down and get quieter) thats the sign to come back and land. Should be just enough thrust to get it back

My prop came off, the little white bracket is also broken, been waiting weeks on technical support on how to replace it. Bangood can't speak English. Help !!
Banggood seems to be going through a lot of changes lately. Notice we haven’t been doing nearly as much stuff on our channel from them. Times may be changing, sadly. They are starting to feel like the next “gear best” but we will see how this all pans out.
I can relate to the no speak the English comment as I just placed my very first order with them and it literally looks like someone stomped on the box came completely smashed . Now I'm dealing with a bunch of bullshit. Great first experience

Happy Holiday’s Nate & Abby 🎁✨🎅🎄- At long last I got my 109 last week - but I have a problem with the elevator and ailerons centering when the sticks are neutral. It happens in all 3 flight modes, and also after I did the “flight stabilization” calibration mentioned in the instructions. Is it possible I got a dud..? I have the P-51, Corsair, & Trojan (all Volantex branded) and they all flew perfectly out of the box. Maybe a minor control rod bend while the surfaces were neutral in Expert Mode, but that’s it - otherwise perfect flyers all three. This is my first official Eachine plane, and purchased it thru Banggood. And I have the Spitfire on the way (hopefully it’ll behave better). Any thoughts 💭
good luck. I got a dud too and they will do nothing. I received one out of two planes and it has the same problem. Banggood is a scam company .A 250 dollar lesson for me. soory
