What’s causing my cheap RR P38 4.6 to run badly? Is it a slipped Liner?

First step into seeing whats wrong with my broken P38.

I’ve recently done a top end rebuild on the 4.6.
I highly recommend NOT using the stock head bolts, rather use the ARP studs. The stock head bolts just don’t cut it in general and since you’re in there anyways, the ARP studs are definitely something to investigate and decide for yourself if the few bucks extra are worth it. Thanks for the video, I had the exact same issue and everyone swore it was a slipped liner. I’m 50,000 kms on the rebuild and not so much as a hiccup from her. ✌️

That's good to know, I have never tired the ARP studs, I have built a few with the standard head bolts from turners with no issues but its very unnerving turning the last 90degreess I must admit. Thanks for your feedback.
