RANGE ROVER P38 Rear Radius/Trailing Arm Bush replacement

My rear Radius arm bushes have separated so I am going to replace them without removing the compete arm and put Poly's in. let see how they do !
Update: after the polys the rear end feels much better and no more tramlining

Hi great video despite the weather. Keep a close eye on those bushes I used some from them on my shocks and they didn't last a month, the supplier replaced them with the same and the same thing happened so went to original rubber (easy on shocks) and all is good now. Hopefully you will have more luck than me. Jim.

Thanks Jim, So far so good. I have done a few thousand miles and feels great. Now the VCU has sized so have to sort that now :) Joys of older cars. What shocks did you use out of interest? I have the all terrain Terrafirma and they great but very firm.

@@LandyManLewis I bought the Brit Part cellular dynamic ones which had the yellow bushes. I had to fit them as I snapped a Terrafirma "heavy duty" driving to a green lane. I've gone to recovery brand now.

Have used polys before , not a fan of them, after time they squeak every time the suspension moves. Technically meant to regressed them every so often. Went back to rubbers.

I have heard mixed reports, 5k down the line and no issues yet. my friend has had them for 5 years plus now and seem to be ok. I guess depends on the quality. Thanks for your comment

How are the polybushes holding up so far? I have a full kit (front and rear) for mine as I don't fancy trying to push new metalastic ones back in again.

I am really pleased with them, they have improved the handling but I would say they allow slightly more vibration into the cabin but its very slight. Have you gone for the britpart ones?

@@LandyManLewis Yes, got a full set of Britpart black ones to go in as they’re the only ones easily available here in Ireland.
I will probably do them bit-by-bit and see what effect it has on the ride so I can easily roll it back if needed.
