Judith & The Seekers the Worlds greatest folk group of all time..when their wonderful music is played on Radio is every bit as magical as the very first time.
Rest in Peace dearest Judith.
😢😢😢😢😭😭😭❤️😍🥰
I played this just after the "The Voice" Referendum.... Never has "I am Australian" being a fitting song for all Australians. I have never felt so proud to become an Australian.
From time to time God loans us one of his angels.
R.I.P Judith Durham, one of the greatest female vocalist ever to grace the earth.
I agree. Just the greatest female vocalist in modern times. What a gift she had and whatever she did in life she did it with dignity
I am Russian from Moscow, but this music relates to me because we all love the land we were born in
are you a Russian jew?
It is July 2023, and Judith’s matchless voice is still perfect. I’m an American who has loved Judith’s beautiful voice for the past 58 years; since 1965. Incredible voice; like no other. Rest in peace, dear lady.
Totaly true !
May she rest in peace.
@arsip Judith RiP from Germany.
Just think, if there had been no rebellion in the American colonies, you in what is now the USA could have become like Australia and in fact in even better.
King George was no tyrant and all the things the colonists asked for where anyway granted or about to be
@@Gjerrild2 Why would you make such a ridiculous comment? Nothing agapist Australia, but the USA is the GREATEST country in the world. Do I need to remind you that had it not been for the USA your beloved England would be speaking German today.
I'm not Australian and planned to skip the first song. Then Judith came on, and that voice. . . tears in my eyes.
Never get tired of listening to Judith's voice.
Tears in eyes. So beautiful
Same here!

I USE TO LISTEN THE SEEKERS WHILE AT COLLEGE IN 1969. I LOVE THE GROUP. BEST IN MY OWN GENERARION.❤
Rest in Paradise Judith Durham, Rest in Peace!!!
RIP Judith, your voice is one that can never be replicated.. a true aussie lady... thankyou thankyou thankyou... and let us all sing along with her.. I am Australian... We are one, but we are many, and from all the lands on earth we come...
From Blighty, a truly wonderful voice and as you say never to be replicated. We have all lost something special.
I was very saddened to hear of her passing. She had one of the best voices ever. RIP Dear Heart
Judith had one of the purest, most beautiful voices I have ever heard. I am very sad to hear of her passing.
I'm gutted. I hadn't heard the news of Judith's death until I noticed your comment with the "RIP." Over the last few years, I have come to listen to the Seekers a lot on TH-cam and absolutely loved her voice. I was listening just now as a matter of routine, not as a tribute or a memorial.
RIP Judith
What a great song....what an awesome voice. Thanks so much Judith
She will never be forgotten RIP Judith.
Judith and the guys were a gift that kept coming.. rip Judith
You will never understand how much my British parents listened to you
I know every song, and im 40 wasn't even born in the 60s
Bless you and just a side note "I am australian" should be the national anthem ❤❤❤
Sing for the angels, judith 😢😢😢
My god ! She had a voice! Remarkable she didn’t get more attention. Simply one of the most beautiful voices I have ever heard. RIP Judith.
Partly because the Seekers chose to split after 5 years. Long time before they reformed.
As the years moved on this group just got better. Judith you will be missed by millions. Singing in Heaven is your reward. RIP
We have forgotten about the football match but will always remember the Seekers. Thank you Judith for sharing your voice with us.
Not me mate, up the mighty eagles🦅😂
@@trevorlewis847 haha. Yes, I now recall being a cats supporter at the time. One of their many gf losses.
Sin duda. Gracias. Muchas gracias.

The Seekers Forever!!! RIP Judith .
Gorgeous Judith Durham. RIP lovely lady. Your voice was fan-bloody-tastic.
I'm an American, but I see your patriotism and it is beautiful!
It no longer exists to this extent, unfortunately, we are under assault by self hating ideology, trying to permanently destroy us
Enjoy it while it lasts as Australia is been torn apart with Lefty/Racial division and hate..
No indigenous people, you are just colonists stealing land and resources.
I am an Indonesian, I agree with you..

We have lost Judith. I loved her soaring voice.
Im an American man who was introduced to The Seekers music several years ago. I listen to them often and i must admit, Princess Judith's voice gives me a lump in my throat. Such beauty, purity and innocence in her voice
Great lady and so humble!
Cheers my friend 😘
Another angel gone home. What a fantastic voice. We are so lucky she left this legacy.
As an American “I Am Australian” has made me cry more than I care to admit. God bless you Australia!
watch Linda Ronsted sing them star spangled banner

As an Aussie God bless America 🇺🇸
What kind of guitars are they playing? They sound weird.
They're just normal Acoustic Guitars. 6 String for Bruce and 12 for Keith. I believe theirs just some odd doubling or phaser effect happening due to the way the broadcast was recorded.@@dlk1dlk1They're also probably electric acoustics, so being pluged directly into the sound system gives them an odd sound.
I tear up every time. Seekers rock
Shocked that wikipedia and lists of the famous who died in 2022 do not include the wondrous-voiced Judith Durham. Well, not forgotten by me.
Omg really? I know every word to every song because of my parents, and im a brit. That's disgusting that!!!
Rest Judith and sing for the angels ❤
Judith Durham left this planet way too soon.
She was absolutely beautiful rip 🙏 lady
It was her time.

I am a kiwi but proud to have attended the Seekers final performance- unbelievable Judith had the best voice I have heard in my 70 plus years
You’re so privileged to have heard the beautiful voice of Judith ❤
A little bit of me died when I heard Judith had passed on, she and the guys were such a large part of my youth. Rest in peace my love, may your music never die.
Once again this old lady from USA was brought to tears by Seekers singing what should be their National anthem, We Are Australian. Judith was brighter than all worlds gems together. Thank you Seekers.
Hello Carole, how are you doing?
Thankyou…..
What a woman...what a singer.. unbelievable...
Judith, you had the voice of an angel. Heaven has received one of the very best. RIP
Fantastic voice
I'm in tears as soon as I hear "I'm Australien" despite being a Swede! Dam good tune! Hope that it could be the aussies national anthem.
Judith was so classy and what a voice! I felt like I knew her. I wish I had met her
Those were the days when we were a strong tough proud nation. Where did it all go so lopsided.
The. best ever half time show by a mile, RIP Judith...a true Australian who never sold out. What a voice. I am 46 and was brought with the seekers. Love Australia
R.I.P. Judith, goodbye lovely lady. A voice of my lifetime is silenced, but never forgotten. 😢🇨🇦
The voice of an angel. You're singing with them now. May you rest in peace, God Bless xx
One of the most wonderful women performers ever, just beauty and class. We will all miss you Judith, I will never forget the comfort and joy that the Seekers album brought me as a soldier at Ft. Hood Texas 1966-1968. RIP Judith, indeed there will never be another you.
R.I.P. Judith Durham. Your talents will be deeply missed ❤️🇦🇺
May Ms. Durham rest in peace. Thanks for sharing your beautiful voice. 🕊
The best AFL grandfinal band I've ever experienced and I experienced them all from 1975
As a man I can say we've all met and danced with Matilda! From 2022, RIP Judith!
I'm Irish but like many of my countrymen, I hold a great love of Australia. God Bless Australia.
Oh really. Didn’t know there was a link. America, yes.
her voice sounds Irish
The transformative bonds between the Irish Rebels and the English convicts shaped the Australian character and the deep mutual respect between our nations.
With the greatest respect....R.I.P Judith Durham ...Thank you for the music ...from an old lover of your voice, in Norway...Hope to se and hear you again on the other side
R.I.P. Judith, another angel is up in heaven, you still bring so much pleasure with your joy and voice, thank you.

No kidding!!
Beautiful, even an iconic voice- she was a true performer! God bless Judith and Australia!
I’d never heard the song I Am Australian until I came across this video. That’s a wonderful song. 👍👍👍
I have been fortunate enough to visit Australia 2 times but for only short stays. I was in college during their heyday. Love these songs.
Such a shame she's gone. Beautiful person. Stunning voice. R I P
As a Yorkshireman , WE went to see the Seekers at Sheffield , and were stunned by Judith,s marvellous voice. and when later she came as a solo artist to Bradford her performance was absolutely stunning, we many encores . We decided to wait at the stage door in case she made an appearance, which she did. What a lovely lady she spent time talking and we obtained her autograph on the programme and on one of her cd,s we had with us. The memories will live for ever. RIP Judith
I have admired the Seekers for many years and watched them in England where they toured for quite a few years, unfortunately never live something I will regret for the rest of my days. Rest in Peace dear Judith Durham. Maurice Gregory.
God bless the people of Australia!
To listen to Judith sing was one of life's great pleasures, the most remarkable voice ever
Completely agree!!
I had a good healthy cry when i heard of Judiths passing to higher life. Thank you for all the wonderful music. RIP
I was there that day. As a Geelong supporter Judith was definitely the highlight of the day for me. One of if not the greatest and most unique voices in recorded history. RIP
Born in 68 the year of their final concert. But was lucky enough to see them on their 50th anniversary of that concert in Glasgow it was sublime and can't believe Judith is now gone😭😭💔
With the sad news of Judith Durham's passing today I reflect on her musical generosity, her gifted voice.
I remember as a young teenager the many times my late father would sing " The Carnival is Over", and named me after your group musician Athol Guy.
Thankyou Judith for the wonderful memories, your voice will live in my heart forever.
Your Carnival will never be over.
You are one unique lady.
RIP Judith.
Alan Athol Richards
I thoroughly agree. She was unique. There was nobody with a voice like hers, or a sound like theirs. But I think what made them sound so different was that they were not British or American, but Australian, plus she had a voice from heaven. Too many people dismissed them as easy listening as they only got to hear a handful of their hits. But they made great albums that were more musically versatile. God bless Judith.
Hop you use Athol as first name
If anyone was born to sing it is Judith Durham. She brings so much joy to everyone
Can't help it. Love the Australians...
I heard Judith’s beautiful song, “I can’t find another one” when I was a secondary student more than half century ago in Hong Kong. Listening her songs triggered a lot of my memories. Thank you, Judith !
This takes me back to my younger days, Judith had a wonderful voice, didn't even know that she had passed away, Rest in Peace lovely ladyxx♥️
A beautiful sung by a beautiful lady for a beautiful country.
A voice like no other....taken from us at 70 of chronic lung disease, yet she never drank or smoked, always looking out for her voice. R.I.P. Judith Durham, 1943-2022. Your voice will be revered for generations to come.

The Seekers, I first heard them when I was about 13. I fell in love with the group. Being in the United States I couldn't get enough of the group.Today 25 August 2022 I found out that Judith had died. I and the worlld will greatly miss Judith's golden voice. Rest in peacr my dear you will be missed by many.
Now that Judith has died, we, as Australians, should step up and change the national anthem. To both honour our country and all people in it, AND to celebrate the life of a woman who's music has changed the lives of so many people around the world.

As a British person I must say I/We support anything you do as Australians. We love you all.
Australia has lost a remarkable voice. RIP Judith
The World has
I have no idea how I missed this tragic news. Judith was my first crush (I was 5 years old) I can remember sitting on my big sisters knee and being captivated by her voice. My sister passed away during the covid pandemic and sitting at the service it was this happy memory that got me through. Words like legend and national treasure are thrown around like confetti these days and in doing so those words meanings are diluted. Judith, on the other hand, is the epitome of the true meaning of the aforementioned words. So, from a 6'4" hairy arsed Scot who seems to be crying like the wee 5 year old boy, please accept my sincerest condolences, your country has lost a real star.
X
That is so cute! I know Judith would think that is so adorable. I’m sure she would feel flattered and a sense of honor to be your first crush.
Watching 2023 oh my heart ❤ Even the coppers are waving their footy signs. You wont see that again 😢
Makes you wish you were Australian. Grew up listening to the Seekers. Rip Judith 🙏
I'm not Australian but my grandchildren will be. So Australia is in my heart ❤. Judith has such a beautiful voice and tears are rolling down my face. Its so emotional ❤❤
Stunning. As a Scot, I've got a wee tear in my eye. So sad to hear of Ms Durhams passing. One of the most beautiful singing voices I've ever had the good forture to listen to. 😥

Good to know I'm not alone! I heard Judith sing yesterday for first time in many years. I'm 70 BTW couldn't stop myself! John
I just discovered her great songs. Listen to them over and over several times. Greeting from Norway. I am under 50 years old...
Judith Durham ? What is there to say . We were given a gift and she was taken back .A good friend , Constance Blaine Van Eaton passed away not so long ago and like Judith , had a voice to match her soul . The Seekers are the perfect reflection of Australia and the Australian people ! Emotional tradition and a dynamic soul grabbing voice the world enjoys listening to . I just learned " Waltzing Matilda" on the piano and being a Yank , I had to get the translation of the character and all the bits ? Billabong ? Swagman ? Swag ? Got it now mates ! You can put this one in my Tucker bag !
I'm from Tennessee and I'm going to miss Judy Durham. What a sweet wonderful voice!
And person behind it!
