Although his specialty was French pool he seldom lost at eight ball and a crushing break was essential. He was a business executive and never played professionally but did play in tournaments across the country. He was also a checkers champion as well. He could beat you one handed left or right hand. That was often the only way anyone would play him. He died in an Akron, OH care "Home" one block from the basement pool hall where he learned to play. His one requirement, the home had to have a pool table. That's where we played our last game. RIP
