My razer headset has a 2.4 dongle with 0 latency, holds a charge for 20 hours, and I just throw it on the charger when I'm done. Sounds great and dual pairs to my phone so I can take phone calls while playing... wireless headset are absolutely great
Nah not true . Some of them are built with cheap plastik but I used and still use my turtle beach headset (s) . My first wired one i forgot its name lastet 5 years before my little brother broke it . And my stealth 700 gen 1 still last good after 8 years of use . The fabric slowly goes off now but it still good on any other part
No but it helps immerse you. I agree there's way too much bass in literally everything but when I'm playing battlefield 5 the extra bass makes it seem like there's actual shells hitting me

Been looking at the Astro A50s I have a wired Steele series that was on sale just wanting something wireless that is nice so I don’t have to worry about getting another one for a while
I will say if you haven’t bought them yet read this first, been with astro since 2017 with a10, a40, and two sets of a50s I will say I LOVE my a50s however the padding on the top piece will fail after a few months making it uncomfortable but I fix that with super glue but the base station is another issue as the only way to connect it to the ps5 is the micro usb to usb with the micro usb on the base station has failed on both of mine making it almost unusable which is sad considering the price, that being said the best most versatile headset and sound quality I’ve heard
Why does a gaming headset need a 30 hour, or more 🙄, battery life? If you have 15 hours, you can simply charge in between sessions. And if you forget to charge it'll still last a good while. The only reason i'm not using a wired headset is because i sit across the room from the tv

flip-to-mute microphones are useless. just use the mute button on the controller. people act like it’s some revolutionary feature.
razer headsets always have flashy designs but break so easily. it’s like they’re made for looks, not for actual gaming.

@FFAIZISA lucky you. I had the same issue as op. The clips that hold the ear pieces to the headband snap way too easily.

what’s the deal with these 'gaming headsets' having built-in equalizers? if the game’s audio isn’t good enough on its own, it’s not worth playing.
