I went down to my local supermarket and I said: “I want to make a complaint. This vinegar’s got lumps in it”. He said: “Those are pickled onions.”

Just a quick question, what would happen if I delete the Group Policy folder in C:\Windows\System32? Would that in fact reset it to the default setting on restarting the PC without the need to run a batch file?

not sure but i think it is probably a bad idea

@@mikesunboxing I just tried it by moving the folder to a safe place, restarting which automatically re-instated the (hidden) Group Policy folder and all the edits I'd made had gone. By deleting the new folder and moving the original back all my edits were now back in place.

Easy peasy, uninstall it, and install windows 10, or a linux distro.

I went back to Windows 10 on a local account. I tried a couple different Linux distros, but none of them worked for me. I have a couple programs I need for my work, and Linux couldn't run them.

Linux isn't the magic bullet people think it is. And there are starting to be a lot of attack vectors appearing so it won't be long before these Linux boxes will be like the old Apple zombie boxes infecting everything they come into contact with
