    Why not adjust the suspension to suit your weight and riding style to make the bike more enjoyable to ride? Adjustable for a reason.

    I just bought a 2022 Ftr 1200s after trading in my MT10 and I absolutely love it

      @@vladyslife6211 i don't feel I'm missing all that much even though there's 40hp less ( apparently) but the torque, handling and everything else I like about the FTR makes up for it plus it just feels such good quality, so far so good

    My wife bought me a 2019 ftr1200s when they first came out and I love it , I rode from Maryland to Arizona and back the only problem I had was the seat, my ass was killing me but I picked up an airhawk seat pad and help out a lot, I had Ryan Lloyd remapped my ECU and it runs great no cold start issues, the bike is just so much fun to ride I’m keeping this one

      There you go, the seat issue is definitely one of the first mods that’s worth doing especially if you like to do longer trips !

    8:30 bad advise. You want a ROCKET get a Buell 1190!! And its the only production American super bike.

    I consider this a naked. I have a 23' Buell 1190Rx & 13 EBR 1190 Rs. Indian does my service for both. I spend a lot of time there looking at the FTR's. I really like the built in GPS option, too. Id possibly trade my 06' xb12 in for the FTR. Very sharp design.

    Looks like a good bike to have some fun on as a transition from beginner to intermediate rider. But your next bike you should consider the Ducati Diavel 1260s or the new V4 if you can afford it. Or if you are looking for more joy riding the Kawasaki Z1000 would be some serious fun!

    • @vladyslife6211
      @vladyslife6211  8 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      The Diavel is my dream bike but damn it’s $$. At least for the trim I want. Z1000 is pretty aggressive and looks bomb 💣

      @@vladyslife6211 Agreed it has a hefty price tag. I made the mistake (or fortunate opportunity?) of testing riding the V4 and the proceeded to buy it. It is a beast of a bike and I love it! The z1000 might just be on my list to add next to it in the garage tho!

      @QatarMoto 7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Nah it's not for intermediate rider either, it's an unpredictable dangerous bike if you don't have the control specially the lunch original version with the 19 inch flat track wheels

    • @thiagomoreira1557
      @thiagomoreira1557 4 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I would not consider this an “intermediate” bike.

    • @davidace2324
      @davidace2324 4 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@thiagomoreira1557 I mean, you’re entitled to that opinion. I come from the sport bike world and started on a Honda 600 F4. All about learning throttle control and riding at your ability level more than anything else. But I still think based on the bike’s capabilities vs all the other bikes on the market this sits firmly in an intermediate class. A CBR600rr is faster, but also not apple to apple comp since it’s a sport bike. The CBR is a beginner to intermediate level bike.
