I just brought one home yesterday. It’s f’ing gorgeous. Owned almost 10 bikes since I started about 14 years ago. This was my third FTR after having an OG 2019 RR and a 2022 Championship. The 100% is something you have to see in the flesh to understand how stunning of a bike it is.
Awesome. I agree you have to see it in person. I went through great lengths to try and capture the right angles in the sun to do it justice on video but it’s just so hard to do.
My local Indian dealer had their 2023 bikes on sale. They sold a white FTR S for $13.5K. That was a pretty good deal, I may have bought it if my Scout Rogue was paid off.
Looking at bikes after about 10-15yrs removed from the market. All the prices have been better than I expected? HD seemed a little steep maybe, especially after seeing BMW models priced lower. all of the prices I see with Indian are fine though. IDK maybe I'm just making grown person money or something now.
Really dislike the HD trend of adding fairings and paint jobs and calling it 'new for 24!" 🤷 Just waiting for the Indian Trikes before they launch the CVO/cobrands! (There's your 'new for 25' preview!) C'mon, Indian. You're better than this.
Great looking bike the ftr. Love it. Its the only American motorcycle I'd consider buying. And I am considering it. But style wise, bring back the red frame. And fix the fuel tank issue. My two biggest gripes with the ftr.
Not liking that large red 100% logo on the blue tank. I'm not a fan of logos to begin with, and then the red/blue color clash. Also, need to route those brake lines on the forks. I'm not a fan of the way it looks...
I’ve seen them on the road here in Phoenix. I think it’s partially a confirmation bias kind of thing where you see what you ride more than what you don’t. When I see a sport bike pass, I usually don’t pay much attention to what it was vs when I see a bagger, I seem to pay more attention to what it is. That’s just my preference of motorcycle clouding my vision more than a lack of other motorcycles existing in my opinion.
@@GearsGadgets we have a good size and successful Indian dealer south of Boston. They are probably bigger than the three local Harley dealers. They seem to be selling very well. Half my friends are on Indians. I just don’t see the FTR out there. Everyone seems to love them on demo days.
I got a 2022 carbon R just because it’s an eye candy lol it sits in my garage I think it now has 180 total miles . I really want the 100% carbon but I’m not willing to pay all the extra fees , I’m going to wait around I’m sure I will find a great deal from someone who has buyers remorse lol
I love everything about that FTR, except the Shorty fender , that front tires gonna beat the shit out on that nice bike. Nice audio upgrade on the cruisers. On par with my Hawg Wired, US made 400 wpc soundsystem on my Vic. I do not like gloss dashboards, especially when the sun is behind me. Hopefully will have an option for a matte finish. Satin clearcoat minimizes glare. Yeah theres a Pursuit in my future. How bout a batwing version called the Indian Viktor? With the ol 43 gal of storage. Only have 99k on my Vic but the day is getting closer… Good vid! Ride well and ride on !🍻
Great vid. I like watching new bike unveils. I’m here in SC, close to the mountains. As mentioned in other comments, I don’t see a lot of Indians on the road, let alone mountain riding. We have at least 4 dealers that are within 100 miles, from NC to SC to GA. My buddy had an FTR when they first came out. It was a wicked ride, until it wasn’t and started having electrical issues and Indian wouldnt cover, even tho the bike was still under warranty. They covered half the cost, but money still came out of his wallet to fix it…..under warranty. I’m with you, i think the pursuit is a very nice bike, but some things I didn’t like about it kept me from buying it. Looking for the day, Indian takes the FTR platform and makes an ADV bike out of it. Those bikes are everywhere down here. Cheers and keep up the good work.
I like the first but do something about that License plate holder is there any way you can remove that and put below the seat It looks tacky being behind the wheel like that
FTR has way too many issues for the price. I bought the best of the best parts. Went through lloyds/toce to fix the issues. Wheel and tire swap then sold it all just to get away from the bike.
What issues did you have? I understand the latest revised FTR's have solved the cold starting problems, clutch issues and poor throttle response issues. Wheel and tyre swap? What was the problem with them? I have never heard of an issue with those.
@@fyorbane too many to list. Honestly Over $21k invested. Looks good; nothing but problems. I own 3 other 1000+cc Polaris toys and the ftr got the 🥾boot.

Why do I think Indian is going to Price itself right out of the market, just like Harley...😏😏
Yup the FTR carbon S should be about $13K but there out of my price range
They add like $5k everytime they say "premium"😅

Love those Indian motorcycles!
They just keep getting better and better 👍
Cool stuff for real. Great background upgrade man looks sweet

Harley needs another American manufacturer to compete with.

Does now pursuit come with reverse gear??
Everyone loves the FTR but is anyone buying them? I never see them out on the road.

I have a 2023 FTR Carbon and I love it couple of things I don’t like but it is what it is
See lots of them where I’m from

Any experience with the BMW R18b? Its top of my list for a test ride and possible replacement for my 2019 street glide special.
when the 4" Round Touchscreen Display Powered by RIDE COMMAND is available for the Springfield then you’ll have something…..

Still no quickshifter or blipper on the FTR
I have a aftermarket quickshifter up-down on my ftr costs only 250$

A dealership near me is selling a 100% ftr
Did you see it in person? If so what did you think of the color?
What size alternator to run stereo loud at night with all lights on ???
Younger riders paying $20-$40K for a bike? Hahah! 😅
Agree. Understandable that I see few young folks riding motorcycles, and have to pay for college.
Im sitting here trying to figure out how to get me a indian challenger with that ftr x carbon blue paint.
