    I am that type of person that requires extra explanations to figure some things out.... I am going into real estate in Nigeria, this is helpful though thanks, I will still work on figuring out each step.

    Thanks for all your videos, Philip. As a designer working in this space I really appreciate the way you can articulate succinctly the importance of branding in a very practical and easy to understand way. I’ll be sharing this with my team. :-)

    Yes thanks for breaking that down. I’m doing the research to rebrand myself and this is what has stopped me from hitting my mark.

    Really good explanation. I like the segments you used to break this down. The eco system definitely has a LOT of parts to it, but it was easy to understand without getting to detailed in this video. Thank you!

    Amazing video. Great content clearly laid out. I used to think that a brand was synonymous with a logo. I understand the concept of branding so much better now. The proverbial penny has dropped 😃

    Is it better to do a Mission Statement as a video or short paragraph..?? Or both..?? Cuz I've noticed alot of designers actually have a short video or a video & a paragraph...!! If a video what should actually be in the video..( Your background, product, how I got started)?? I actually wrote a Mission Statement but I honestly didn't like it..!! I think I put a bit to much of myself & not enough about my company. This was sooooo helpful & great advice. I needed this. Be safe..!!
    Thanks alot..🙂🙂

      Hey Dashia, I mission statement is actually a single sentence. It is a specific brand strategy tool that companies use. It is public facing. For instance, JetBlue's mission statement is: “To inspire humanity - both in the air and on the ground.”

    Hi. Great video . I won't to start freelance graphic design business. I won't to focus on social media graphic design for companies. I will be working alone. I wondering if the same roles apply for me that you talk about this in this video. I live in Sweden and recently I lost my job. Best regards.

    How do you find the Blue Ocean Strategy?

    • @PhilipVanDusen
      @PhilipVanDusen  10 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Thanks @JaeyTarg! Brand differentiation and competitive brand positioning is a strategic science. Blue Ocean strategy is but one approach - and it is certainly valid, but not always the only answer.

      @@PhilipVanDusen thanks. I have read the book and listened to the audio book several times during the pandemic and at first I found it revolutionary but now that I want to apply it I am starting to see that it has s not practical in some sense.
