I have been following you for a couple of months and learned so much👍 l I am too old to start learning to golf my neighbor stated as he has been playing for 30 years. But I have been practicing 1 hour or more everyday and following your videos and now I can drive the ball further and way more accurate and now my 7 iron is my friend!. Thank you so much and hope to see you have 500,000 subscribers🙏👍

The second part after 13 mins he is talking about the pete cowan spinning the arms down. It makes so much sense as when you do it right your hips clear as a bi product of the downward pressure of the "spinning arms" its really interesting to hear all the great teachers explain the same principles but in different ways

That' what I thought, too. The video Pete Cowen teaching Danny Maude to spin the right arm down changed my Golfswing forever. m.th-cam.com/video/iP0sBzIXRtc/w-d-xo.html&pp=ygUWRGFubnkgbWF1ZGUgcGV0ZSBjb3dlbg%3D%3D

Directional Cheat. Put your trail hand flat on your chest. Use your fingers as pointers towards target/direction but change your direction by moving your feet only and not turning your head. Just glance out the side of with your eyes with a slight turn of head. Turning your head too much will throw off the aim. Practice in house and see how much each step will make major changes in swing and ball flight direction.

  • @alvarojervis1660

@Jerome Rufin the feeling you are describing is the arms coming access your chest. Look up the Athletic Motion Golf "arm depth" podcast video. Basically your arms/wrist are always in front of you, within your shoulder frame. Your arms and wrist are past your right shoulder at the top of the back swing. You are correct in your self-diagnosis, you are pinning your arms to your chest!

Im just now noticing and i could be wrong but i think we play almost the same irons 😂😂. I play the p790 w project x IO 6.0 110g shafts w golf pride cp2 jumbo grips. Never was a big Taylormade guy until my fitter friend put them in my hand and said "you will play with these today or you won't play" lol. I have to say one of the best irons I've ever put in my bag. Loving these lessons they are an absolute chefs kiss of info. This is all the stuff I've been working on recently so it's extremely helpful

I'm in the category Dana talked about at the end. I so want to see a video on that subject. It's so difficult when your mind says oh yeah I can do that. And then your body gives you the middle finger and says in not so many words not today. I'm 45 and dealing with injuries is the worst. Especially when they are self inflicted without even knowing it.

Try a caddy drag to start your swing. It's rhythmic, the body swings first and actually very easy and effective, plus it will not be negative in any way to your swing. When he is a zero handicap that will be it, as I would call that scratch.
Very nice slo-mo at 15:49, notice how still your body is as your arms swing down around your body.
Great positioning. and angles, without thinking about it too much.

Arms are getting stuck behind the body - left arm is stuck "pulling the handle" which causes inconsistent contact. Once you initially pivot your right elbow of your arm should already be in front of your right hip to release. I understand dana has you in a specific pattern though. I think your take away should resemble the right arm elbow fold instead the arms looking to separate when you takeaway. I say this because you are athletic and you wont have to try to manipulate the wrists. Guys that have to use the wrists are relying on timing more than anything. IMO. Your takeaway sets up how you release change it cause Dana has got you moving awesome!

@@LuciusGraciusMaximus I understand that some pros use an app where you can video your swing and get instruction feedback from that pro. I think it's relatively less expensive than full one-on-one lessons, and you can get maybe 5-10 short swing analysis for a set price - perhaps not much more than a single full lesson. And you can spread the swing analyses over time - maybe several months. It's sort of like short tune ups to your golf swing.

Bruno does not pass to hoiland because his first touch is poor in a crowded area and his link up play no better. He is better running on to balls. every goal pretty much that way. Until he improves he can cry about it but not going to change. This is not a world class striker by any means today and pretty raw and average in many parts of the game that needs to improve.

What in the absolute fuck are you saying?! Thanks to you, I just lost 5 minutes of my life… 20 seconds of reading it the first time, 2 minutes of rereading and rereading and trying to figure out what point you’re trying to make, or are what, if anything, you’re trying to translate, another minute or so of questioning my sanity and trying to figure out who the fuck “Bruno” is or what/where/who the fuck “hoiland” is, what is touching who is what crowded area and what who’s link up play no better actually fucking means 🤯, and another minute of typing out this response to all that nonsense you vomited out in the first place! Please have someone that can understand your thoughts/opinions/language proofread your comments before unleashing them onto normal unsuspecting people like myself, or just refrain from commenting altogether, because your lack of understanding and comprehension are frightening to say the least 🤐
