    Unbelievable!!! This is the kind of direct insight that only top level golfers and pro’s get. Not from your club pro or all the TH-cam wanna be experts. Dana is giving away Golf trade secrets. Thank you

    Kudos to the person filming your interaction with Dana. Nice to be able to see Dana pick apart your swing in his iPad. Dana mentioned working on these moves in the gym. It would be interesting if you filmed a workout specifically designed to work on these swing improvements. Thank you for sharing 👍🏻👏🏻

    Awesome stuff. Eye opening for me on why sometimes my 3/4 swings don't end well because my lat doesn't load, and therefore the glute doesn't load. The longer swing gives everything time to load and fire. Good stuff!

    Dana’s stuff is gold. Interesting though that he is getting you to stop doing what he is trying to get Jerome to do. It’s why generic coaching is so difficult - one size fits no one!. Also don’t like landing on lead side with lead heel closer to target. It’s a seriously athletic move and get it wrong and you’re going to the er. A lot of really good players don’t do this - they start with a flared lead foot and finish with it even more flared. Really enjoyed the video - more please (and where’s Hanna?).

    As a tour coach for an analysis, you will get it, numbers and data to support. Go to another coach.. more data different approach.. Go see Leadbetter, get a training aid….😮 When finished can go back to Mike Adams’s and Terry to get 10 more yards. But your grip doesn’t match your body type. Golf is fun…

  • @SaguinMedia

    Hi, first off, great video! But I didn't quite understand the part about the left arm on the downswing? Is Dana wanting you to keep it wider during the downswing or leave it slightly bent the way you had it? Then there was something about Dana saying you need to get that (elbow?) fixed within 2 weeks. Sorry, can you clarify that part?

  • @jesper8496
    @jesper8496 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

    Great video Fred, but I have a question: Because you are a Front Poster (bioswing dynamics) it's good to have a backswing turn to the negative (to the target)? you do'nt want to go full on your back leg in your backswing.

    • @FredrikandHannah
      @FredrikandHannah  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Dana is not telling me to shift to the back leg. Quite the opposite. You load right and kind of land on the left (front) leg. Might not have been explained in this edit but that’s the idea

    • @FredrikandHannah
      @FredrikandHannah  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      Please understand that Dana is talking to me who knows a lot about the golf swing. That’s why the language is a little advanced. What he really is saying is that I need to turn better going back and then use my legs better in the downswing. These are no major changes just smaller adjustments that will help me become more consistent.

      as some one who has been taking lessons with Dana, i disagree. His lessons will always have you leaving with a light bulb in your mind and a clear understanding on what to do. frankly, he’s one of the few teachers that have me hit the best shots of my life on the lesson before leaving every time. maybe the only one.
      A lot of this seems complicated, but keep in mind, Frederick is an advanced player, trying to squeeze out performance. you get down to this level of mechanics at this level. i’m not as advanced, only a single digit handicap, and Dana can explain things in layman terms. try to watch Jerome Ruffin’s series on youtube with Dana, he’s a beginner, you’ll see how Dana approaches a beginner student.

    • @FredrikandHannah
      @FredrikandHannah  5 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Keep in mind that my knowledge of the golf swing is very advanced. Dana would not have used this language with an amateur. In simpler terms I need to turn better going back by pushing my left arm away from me in backswing. Then I need to use my legs better in downswing.

      That really depends on your level of understanding I guess? I'm a mid handicapper currently but I understood every part of this instruction, I also understood that mine and fredriks golf swing are similar (front post) so there is so many golden nuggets in here for me personally.

  • @redstone5149
    @redstone5149 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

    Fredrik needs to learn to listen and stop talking so much. As an instructor it’s very annoying. Very frustrating when you explain something to a student and they act like they know exactly what they’re doing wrong. If that’s the case give yourself a lesson😂

    • @FredrikandHannah
      @FredrikandHannah  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      So I’m going to address this comment politely, even though it’s quite ignorant. Dana (and most high level coaches) wants me to constantly articulate what we are working on to prove to him that I understand the concepts. This is what pretty much every Pro and high level instructor wants. If a player doesn’t understand the changes, they will never trust or be able to apply the changes over time. If you are an instructor and you don’t want to hear from your students- that says more about you than them.

    • @redstone5149
      @redstone5149 2 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@FredrikandHannah …unsurprisingly, you totally miss the point. With your comment you’re exhibiting the exact same behavior you did in your video. You lack self-awareness and are obviously insecure which is why you talk, talk, talk and refuse to listen. Best of luck to you.
