Dude this rocks. I’ve been watching your vids for years now and this laid back convo style content is great. Real good for a listen on a late night drive
A little late to the video, but men, did i enjoy this more personal convo.on one of the things discussed about, never knowing where to stop in making achievements or progressing in life i think the drive to always outdo yourself is necessary in achieving great things cus if you shoot for the stars even though you dont get there you might pass the moon this is my opinion on it anyway have a nice day love the vid Leon
Hey! I’m just about halfway through and this is great. It’s awesome getting to know you this way. I’ve been dealing with my health and weight and I get discouraged. So it’s good to hear your story.
Hey, Leon! Long time listener, first time caller. Real quick, I’m very happy that you’ve been able to reach the amount of success that you have. You have become an older brother to me over the years. Keep being who you are, my man.
Hey Leon. I have been a fan for many years. I feel like I grew up with the tomato mafia. When I first started watching you, I was maybe about 14 or something. I was skinny and insecure and I didn’t feel happy in my skin. Now I’m 22 and I have been training at the gym for three years now, and I feel so much better mentally and physically. I really love your takes here. I watched this video in its entirety. I really look up to you as a person, and I appreciate your insight and opinion. I am now also a pretty consistent viewer of fitness content, and steroid use is a very interesting conversation. Keep up the good work. Thank you again!
I ended up becoming a PT because I always loved fitness even though I've peaked out at a fat 120kg. The amount of substance abuse is absolutely insane. One of my colleagues has Left ventricular systolic dysfunction which is a direct result of cardiac-hypertrophy. He's 38. Always would brag that he didn't have any side effects. I warned him, with science backed evidence. + Additional appetite suppressants and all the secondary meds required to survive that whilst on gear Others on anavar to cut and look vascular and I'm here getting stoned and lifting+MMA natural absolutely baffled by the folk who are average dudes looking average taking superhero doses :/ It's crept into my mind through my worst points to do it but never caved. Not that I'm some moral superhuman...I just don't like them odds and risks for the benefit....unless your trying to be a world renowned best at something....what's the point?
Loved the chill vibe about this video and topic. A lot of points you made I think the exact same way about things. Also, you look great dude, definitely shouldn’t compare your physique to dudes blasting gear with sub 5% dick skin levels of body fat on IG lol. If anything you can use comparison to others as motivation to push your own natural genetic potential, not necessarily from a position of envy/impossible replication. Also, shoutouts Nigel.
Not gonna lie. I almost didn’t click this video because for a second I thought to myself that I had already watched this video. The similar thumbnails tripped me up.
Its like symbolism versus actuality. A substance may make person appear hyper verile, yet, the exogenous hormone administration actually causes them to, well, be incapable of the particular performance their appearance implies they might excell at. Steroid use really seems so ironic...
Leon age is a factor. If you In you're early 20s started doing roids. Then you too would be insane. However a lot of young dudes are dying in there 30's. Trt for me as I'm 39 and have to get blood work every 6 weeks and it's the energy I get from it.
It is very funny that you start working out for chicks and end up being so big that chicks don’t always like it and dudes are the ones you’re doing it for 😂
So Ronnie Colemans back problem is steroids related and flex diabetes is too?. Wow. Come on. Steroids have bad side effects for some people, it's of course dose related, genetics etc. You don't need to come up with new shit that's not related, just talk about the problems that actually exist.
@@B.P.hiphop yeah, i just get a bit annoyed when people straw man topics that they dont actually need to be straw man. I was a competitive bodybuilder when I was in my twenties, I am almost 43 now, and on TRT (like actually TRT, not like "let's take less drugs in-between my regular drug schedule" and call it TRT). The fact that I now have lower testosterone levels naturally might be because of my earlier drug use. I have asked my doctor about it and they seem to think it's plausible. I did become a dad, twice, 4-5 years after I stopped bodybuilding/using steroids, and all my friends that also used steroids did as well. Back then I regularly got blood work done and they did show elevated liver/kidney enzymes and that could ofcourse have lead to serious problems, i also got some acne issues one time. So high doses of steroids can absolutely give big health problems, especially if you have underlying conditions/issues. So you do need to respect it and know the risk's.

Leon has always been an absolute beast in our eyes

Death by thousand paper cuts

🗿🧦🔥🌵🚽
We need to include some Nigel in these podcasts. He’s been feeling pretty neglected for a couple years now 🤣
Too many late 20s BBers died too, not just older ones.
Think im going to be looking into TRT.

Right ronnie did that to him self from lifting too heavy for too long. That would have happened steroids or not.
Like he fails to mention Jay cutler in his 50s or frank Zane, Tom plats, dorian yates and Arnold all having a high quality of life as older people
