I haven't done much research yet but I'm also looking to figure out how to use the app with some sort of 3G spoofing. All the new phones still have 3G antennas in them.
I think the problem is that the 3G cell towers are gone for the most part, at least in the USA. Some other manufacturers have upgrade paths to go from the 3g hardware to 4g hardware. But Lexus never provided any way to do it. If there was a way I am sure many people would jump on the wagon to upgrade. If you find a way, let us know.
Hmmm. Good question. I haven’t tried doing that since I have always had at least one key. But I imagine it is possible with Techstream since that’s what the dealer also uses
There is a setting to select that allows you to select whether you want either 1) just the driver door to unlock when you unlock the car, or 2) you want all doors to unlock. I have ours set to unlock all doors, so as soon as I touch the door handle all of the doors unlock.
Thank you so much for this. I really want to buy VXDiag VCX Nano. I have one question for you. I feel that my LX570's AHC system is playing up a bit. When I turned ON easy exit/entry feature, the car's steering was strange at 50+ miles per h - felt like floating so it required effort to keep it straight and constant adjustment. Since I turned it OFF, it behaved much better, but not the way I want it. There are no error codes on the display. Could you tell me how to reset the AHC with and without this device? Your help is much appretiated.
Is your LX sensor lifted at all? What you are describing with the steering sounds like it could be due to alignment specs being slightly off. Particularly caster. If you are lifted, it could be that the caster angle is off by enough to have that effect at highway speeds. Also, if your rear is too low while the front end is higher, it could cause similar symptoms. Either of those can be solved by adjusting the height sensors to get things closer to spec. If you are 100% stock and on stock size wheels and tires it could be alignment being off, ball joints being worn out, or control arm bushings being worn out. What year is your LX, and how many miles are on it?
Hello, I am trying to find a alternative place to buy a Smart Key Card for my 2018 Lexus GS350. Would you be able to direct me to a good source to pick up the SKC outside of going to a dealership?
Best place I have found is eBay. There are always lots of them on eBay. Make sure to buy one that is “unlocked” so that you can easily program it to your Lexus.
Excited to see the next video. Would love to be able to address the height to the max on demand and bypass raise the speed limits.
You got it. I’ll run through some details of what can be adjusted and what cannot be adjusted on the next video
7:15 select pre-start chk first
Great point!
Ty

Have you been able to reset smart box with this when all keys are lost?

If we aren't supposed to connect it the Internet, how will it identify latest cars. Like the lc250
It has all of that preprogramed into the software.
how would you open all 4 doors at once with the card key?

@@NKPGarage thanks for explaining, learned something new..appreciate the response!
@tubedude92 you got it! If you need some help explaining changing that setting let me know. Happy to help.
Mine is asking for a pass code
Did you get an "unlocked" or "virgin" keyfob? If it is a used keyfob that has not been unlocked you may have trouble programming it.

So it’s work on any Toyota(i mean card key )
Yes. It works on many Toyota models too. You just have to make sure to match the number to the number on your factory remote.
