Hhmmmmmm interesting. Have never had any big issues with propane flow from the Regulator. I recently swapped mine out bc it was questionable and didn't want to risk it in the field but they always flow nicely when that little knob on top is pointed to the right tank that's on

Hey Frank! Your videos have helped out tremendously with building our SMOOTHIE TRAILER!! Question: we are thinking about going with the same water heater you have but being we don't have all the other heating elements that need propane, do you still think your water heater would be a good option? Also what size propane tank would you suggest to just run the water heater, and is it required to be attached to the outside of the trailer? Sorry if these are repetitive or obvious questions :)

One is 250,000 btus fryers. 200bts grilled and 150,000 btus hot plate stove.
Those BTUs mean the heat capacity or the pressure needed?
Is it ok to use the 160,000 BTUs that we already have?
Or we need to change it for a bigger one? I haven't had a chance to find a bigger one online.

This is an old post but, we have been following along and building our trailer. So very grateful, thanks. We decided to purchase the same excel unit and have a dual stage regulator but, it gets hot for about 2-3 seconds then goes cold. As I look down I’m the unit it seems to flicker as if air is getting into the line, maybe? I tested the for leaks without bubbles. Is there any adjustments at the regulator or unit that I am missing?

The one by propane regulator is a z bracket

Can that regulator change over be used on a bigger size tank ?

I'm not a gas expert, but tank size would have no impact on the amount of gas the tank releases. So if was guessing I would assume any gas tank size would work

Hey! The vid was very educational! I've been trying to research for a video like yours that really informs the topics in this TH-cam vid! 🙌 👌Your vid actually reminds me of the videos of this new medical student Doctor Ethan! His videos are totally educational and he actually helped me on my wellness. He is a cool medical student in Nottingham!
