A note for those or you who operate in freezing weather like I do here in Vancouver BC .
Make sure to leave your pipes and pumps exposed to the interior of your unit and never attach anything to external walls .
I use heat tape on lines that are close to the external walls and two parabolic heaters aimed under the counters .

Frank that ripple and those big washers on ur 3 compartment sink u mentioned is galvanized wich is gonna be touching stainless if it was me I'd add some faying tape to separate ur metals

you're awesome dude! been working on my own food trailer almost 3 years now (as i get money or barter for goods) . I bought a hatch that also has a city pressure water hookup, decided to Tee its in tube : after pump/check valve, this way if I hookup to city pressure, I just unplug the pump, avoiding the fill tank altogether.
I had this same setup on my truck. Except you don’t have to unplug the pump. The city water keeps pressure on the outlet side of the pump and it shouldn’t kick on anyway
@@johnsandlinjr you are 100% correct, i didn't realize it at first. I immediately thought, darn I wish I put a switch on it then after testing everything realized it doesn't need it; it does exactly what you said, doesn't pump when not requesting water, put a check valve on out side of pump before the T of city pressure in. Works awesome

Does the positioning of the pump play a roll here ? I seem to be confused how the water from the fresh water tank makes its way up to the water pump?
Gets sucked up by the pump, don't see a reason that pump couldn't be positioned anywhere. Not a professional plumber
Should have pit the filter screwed on the pump that's the way its designed could saved a few bucks on fitting and a little easier.

@@fbaltierrez I found the other videos but I’m not sure about the hood it has to have a fire suppression system as well but my ceiling height is only 6’2”. Will I have to get a custom hood since it’s so low?
@@tovajohnson7217 you should be good with a Hood Mart Hood. My Food Truck that I use is 6 for 6 inside

Hey. How is your water flow. I helped my friend connect his water system for his food truck and he has poor water flow. I thought it was because of the water flow with the 1/2 pex.
@X_Starmedia my water flow has been good, normal water flow similar to a house, where it sometimes gets different is when you turn on hot water. Have to open valves gradually
Hey Frank! I’ve been really inspired by your videos! Im halfway done with my build! I had a question. How or where would you put a potable water hose connection? Would you place after the pump? Or would you just have to keep re-filling your water tank?

I would put it exactly where I always place mine on the videos. Has worked out perfectly for me. I just refill tanks as needed

When you fill your water tank, do you have to put some kind of vent so the tank doesn’t fill up with air pressure?
I'm worried about water lines freezing during winter. Is there something that can be done to heat water line in and the grey water drain out.

I use this style of heater inside the trailer and just leave it on. Helps out tremendously

Can you use Stainless steel flexible sink hoses???
I'm sure you can but these pex lines have been wonderful
what size Gal tanks to you recommend for (under sink) install both water and grey water

Frank my water pump is blowing air into my fresh water tank any clues, no water at faucets followed your instructions to the T
Only thing would be to check the arrows on the pump make sure they are in the correct direction
Frank, I'm searching your videos to find one that can help me with a water pump problem. We have no water pressure. I called the guy who installed it and he said "you probably just turned it on with it running" and proceeded to try and coach us through getting the air of the line. We could not make it happen. Can you make a video that shows me how to fix the problem? Please!!! :)
Good morning, to be honest I have never had one issue with the pump working or air in the lines personally. Just have to make sure the arrows are pointing in the water flow direction
Hey there, I’ve been following you and it’s been helpful. At the moment I am working on my food trailer and been following your instructions. But I am stuck on installing my hand washing sink and was wondering if it’s legal to install it over my electric junction box. I live in North Carolina but don’t know if it’s legal to do so?
I used the same water pump and water heater as you did, I have a problem with only getting hot water when water is turned on low, water turned on full I won’t get hot water, and my water pump bib bad if water is turned on low, have you had any problems
So far have not had a single issue yet. Cross my fingers
How are you venting the fumes from the propane?
On the waterheater it ventless. That's how it's made no vent needed
Did you get a permit to do plumbing or can you do it with out one??????
That is a question that only your health or City permit department can have the answer for. With us not needed
How hot is the exhaust from the water heater? I’m putting mine under the dirty drain board of my three bay.
Where did you get the soap dispenser that you said domino pizza uses from?
I don't see a link for the strainer. Where do you purchase the strainer?
Those come with the sinks, at least that's how all mine came.
Hey brotha I really love and appreciate the videos! Is the water pump to increase your water pressure? Another question I have is, if you were hooking up a 3 basin sink with 2 hand washing sinks and an extra equipment sink, would you use a water pump for both the cold water and hot water and just tee off to the sinks? I’m also doing this inside so I have access to a natural gas water tank.
Good morning. The water pump is to create water pressure can't have water flow without it. I would use one, because what are the chances you are going to be running all of the at the same time?

OK does the water pump need to be straight up and down or can it be flat to the floor. I notice the pump is installed kinda high up, does that matter.

Hey Frank - love your videos! Question - at 14:29 of this video, you say you are adding an elbow to connect to the water heater... Do you also need to add a "T" before the water heater to take cold water to the single sink? Thanks!
Hey I have a concession food trailer and I can't get water pump to pump water to the sink what's wrong with my water system
Did you make sure arrows go with the flow of water? Sounds simple but sometimes we can over look that
Where is the water hookup coming from the outside to the clean tank?

Every county inside every state is different. I would take the concepts of the construction from video and tweak as necessary

If you are going to be the end user and the height doesn't bother you then it works. I don't use that height I like to stay 6 foot 5 and above

What’s the strainer link to buy
The strainers come with the sinks. No additional purchase necessary with this one I use
Great video! I have a few questions: Were those 1/2 s/s nipples that went through sink wall because they were super shiney for galvanize? How is the back of the sink attached to the wall? Are those flange feet to anchor the sink legs to the floor?
Yes galvanized at least that's what the package said. The back of the sink is attached to the wall on the corners and by the flange feet 👍

I had asked you about the SEAFLO water pump before if it was reliable. I’ve read some not so good reviews about that pump; have you had any issue with the pump?
Me personally I have had no issues with the water pump I have looked for others but this one has worked well for me

Great question. My county does not require anything as such, do they ask for a plumber license upload to their system?
Yes!they want grease interceptor and a vent pipe from the waste water tank 6"on top of the roof!I want to do the work so bad myself!

I’ve been able to somewhat mimic what you have going on here with pex plumbing and using the crimp rings and crimp tool. I noticed a lot of leaking even after all the crimping.. ? Did you have that problem??

Never heard of a 4 sink, only have seen 3 Compartment sink and 1 hand sink. Or did you mean use the 3 Compartment as a hand sink as well?

@@fbaltierrez sup dude. Yes Framing Meaning wood. Putting wood on walls and ceiling. The base of the project. I was going to not even do this but i think it will be to hard to not do this. Cant put insulation between the walls without doing it. Did you not do this on your builds or ?
@@FamilyChannelfun32 How the CargoMate trailer came thats how it is bought it from FacebookMarketplace. These trailers have plywood walls and floors which makes it easier to build. Just added insulation to the ceiling and to the wall where the concession window is.

I can prob just put the stainless walls and electrical on top of that. And then send it home. Dont see any reason why not.
