Oh my gosh no, they are probably just happy to get some lightsaber battles . I really wasn’t impressed with them. We have to really like these characters to even feel like they are cool. Thanks for watching!!
@@Letstunein I totally agree, I didn't care in the slightest what happened to Jecki and Yord. Because they were so poorly written. They had so much potential! And you're right, it's all about the saber fights over there 🙄 I look forward to more reviews from you, keep up the honesty.

With you on everything you wrote. I accepted the death of Star Wars many years ago. George Lucas' story was a 6-part saga and 2003 Clone Wars mini-series for me. It concluded, as all good stories must.
(I actually do really like parts of Rogue One and think of it as the only thing that came out of Disney that was unintentionally true to real Star Wars lol).

@@audiogarden21 there are two Clone Wars animated series.
One that came out in 2003 from the creator of Samurai Jack, Genndy Tartakovsky (a 90-minutes long miniseries), and the other that came out in 2008 onward as 7 seasons (much longer) from Dave Filoni, the Disney poster boy extraordinaire that invented helicopter lightsabers, time travel in star wars, resurrected Darth Maul as a spider-cyborg and more recently turned a Force nonsensitive character to a Jedi that can hurl people across huge distances overnight lol..
Tartakovsky's Clone Wars is my Clone Wars and it is here on youtube in full, just search "Star Wars: Clone Wars (2003)"

So right Cami, I gave it a try but it's so weird and lazily written that it can't even be considered part of the lore/canon. I just feel terrible for the Squid Game guy who learned English for the role because he's a huge fan and this what he got.
I know he did such a good job!! But this show is the worst writing I’ve ever seen. They didn’t even try to make it make sense 😂
You got the opening words moving in the right direction, which makes it better than the entire Acolytle episode.

McGregor and Neeson trained for months with Ray Park, the technical expert choreographing the fights and playing Maul. Disney hate the Jedi and Sith and are never going to put that sort of effort into lightsabre battles.
Lol I debated so hard about even reviewing this show. And that’s cool to hear, it’s very much felt in their battle. Good characters/training/ With the epic music! Also, Ray Park was just amazing!
Even though the reveal was so obvious, I didn’t think Disney would let a male be that powerful so my money was on one of the moms.

One of the goofiest pieces in this episode - was the fact that Mae has decided to change allegiances and turn herself into the Jedi - sure, balderdash to be sure. The worse part? She was STILL WILLING TO LEAVE The QMan out to hang and die/let animals/moths eat him.
Yeah, great character development. A ton for young ladies to look up to for sure!

Star Wars Animation is where it's at. If you know, you know. Clone Wars, Bad Batch, Rebels. Visions, Tales of, ...and so many more. All of which are excellent series and excellent Star Wars. Watch or re watch and enjoy Star Wars again.

I call them Fema and June. Their relationship is bipolar, with a short cycle time. June will turn Jedi, and Fema will turn Sith.

Nice work, Cami. And work really is the word for it, right? It's a labor, a chore, a grind to get through all the dumb intereactions, moronic dialogue and personality transplants. Mae is on - what - personality 4 by now? Sol even does it, hesitating, so more comrades die. Do Disney writers think Jedi vs Sith is some kind of vaguely offensive kaffeeklatch, or some barbs tradedwhile finding the Durango in the carpark? It's not! It's war. Bloody war. So characters need to be committed. Or lose an arm. Both are fine,
I actually had the hardest time reviewing this, than anything I’ve posted! I reviewed episode 4, but didn’t have the desire to edit it lol So, I just went with 5. 😂
But yes, agreed! Mae’s personality has switched so much and Osha is so non - descriptive/ natural . I think the actress was trying to make her basic, because they will both flip places, to the dark and light. But what they need is some real character development. There is nothing about them that draws us in or makes them relatable. I could go on… lol

It's just meh. Disney took a unique and special thing and turned it into a commercialized product, pumping out slop for the masses to consume. I''m moving on!
