Any new drivers looking to not have a health condition due to their car interior, this man does know what he is talking about. My rule 1 when getting a new car, never let the interior get into this state. 20 mins hoovering a week, and 10 mins dusting, one a month dress it if it look s a bit dull. i normally deep clean a car like this one a year to get rid of the winter. Supervised Matt, and he really needs it ;) lol

Just did a friends car as a treat. He had been away for several months (Forces, not prison) so did it as a welcome home present. He’d let it get into such a bad state before he left, then it grew mould over winter. Took me a full day on the interior, starting at 9 and finishing when it went dark. The worst of it is that his wife has severe allergies, including dust, and always wondered why she felt crap after long journeys. The car was disgusting. 🤮
Two goes with the carpet cleaner and the seats look almost new again.
It was possibly the worst car I’ve ever seen.
I don’t see the point of paying £40k for a car and treating it like crap.

I like that some of the tools you use are not expensive. By chance I have just bought the same make DA polisher you used in this video. £75 compared to hundreds for pro machines. Then there’s the power drill. I had the same one for years and only bought it because it was cheap.
No need to buy all the expensive toys.
My drying towels are inexpensive ones from Amazon and they are amazing. I save my hard earned cash for good waxes, shampoos and polishes. I just wish I had the cash for a AVA power washer. 😂

What a great video, thanks. I am not a professional so to see the process of totally cleaning a car and what products you used is brilliant for me. Still nervous about the snow-foam and rinse of the engine bay so I might not do that bit. But thank you for sharing this video as I am sure there will be lots of non-professionals who just want to know how to clean their car, so please more beginners video or to add some basic info to your pro videos. No it’s certainly not safe and no matter what I wouldn’t risk just to make my engine bay look good. I prefer to have a working car than my engine bay clean. Just wash it carefully with some water and cloths not pressure washer!

Dave, why are you not fixing interior as the first thing? Getting in and out of the car during a cleanup, will result in dirt on the cars body ... I mean, it's not named "detailing" for nothing, right? 😉 And btw: Have you tried out a plantbased and biodegradable solution with a dutch company called Airolube? More environmental friendly which is kinda needed in the car care industry. Thanks for another great transformation!

Super resin polish has abrasives and fillers. This is basically just fillers with added protection so not long term but good enough to see the car through for a few months.

    • @liambanning3674

You could be overworking the pad. You also need to clean your pad out quite regularly whilst using. Don’t let the compound completely dry out before wiping off the panel either.

Bilt Hamber is all about PIR not dilution ratios, and it also depends if you have the new updated formula or not, the old one is 4% PIR and the new one is 2% if I remember correctly, I'd say around 300ml (old Touchless) & 100-150ml for the new updated formula

@@epicautomotivedetailing soz not what I meant, would never put a pressure washer near a soft top, someone copying you might not be so careful and you can never shift the fabric burn once in. For a cheap way then Milton fluid(diluted to instructions) with a soft shoe brush. Will shift green mould easily as well as any normal dirt. If it is an old roof and its got orange/red stains then its only the dye that's ever worked for me
