- E foils are my new obsession. After researching every board on the internet for the best one money can buy all signs pointed to this electric flying surfboard. My recent viral video got the attention of my new favorite electric vehicle brand and they sent me the best electric toy imaginable. This brand new 2023 Lift V4 e foil is truly unbelievable and has quickly become my new obsession.

i feel like Im cheating on grindhard plumbing by watching this. Don't be afraid to edit into grindhard you guys's different personalities. One of the best parts of impractical jokers is that sal is fat and sad, murr isn't funny, but he's a weasel, Q looks homeless but hes kinda funny, and joe is hilarious and he is a hypeman. Ive seen Ethan looking sideways at you guys when you spend 6 months hyping up the chiang lee videos, but don't edit that shtt out. I havent seen ethan get all hyped up with you guys about the chang lee, but thats not really his deal, so don't edit it out if Ethan says, hey you guys are still smoking that good chiang lee pipe. Its fun to see everyone enjoy a sick bike build, so you guys all kinda act the same, but then theres different guys, so don't forget to include three personalities.

Right on Edwin! Congrats on landing a free Lift! (and Kudos to Lift for seeing the marketing angle here). I will definitely be getting one of these... I remember standing on a dive platform with my two boys and seeing this woman riding above the water on an e-foil and just being mesmerized by the grace and effortless beauty of this sport... I turn 60 in August and cant wait...
My first thought when I saw open water gliding: "That looks like freedom!"
It really is. Maybe the only more free feeling it would be flying a private plane? I’m not sure I’ve never done that haha

Foiling for 3 years now on Lift Pro. The main problem, you get completely addicted. I am terrified if I'm not foiling for several days. I have the chance to have a chalet at a river (Mosel/Luxembourg) and nearly are foiling 5 out of 7 days in one or even 2 sessions .
If you don't want to become an addict: don't buy, never try.

Yes Edwin, you don't have to justify yourself as this being your favorite sport. It's really hard for people who have never foiled to understand the feeling and the overall experience.
You should give a try to windfoiling or wingfoiling too.

I have the lift 4 as well. I share your feelings about this sport. The other item to mention is how OUTSTANDING the customer service at Lift is. Second to none. Enjoy the board!

I was AMAZED by the battery. You can ride the thing for 2 hours and the damn thing will damn near charge back up in 2 hours!!

First of all I have a takuma efoil. Second I've ridden the brand new lift it's sweet.Third doesn't even slightly compare to kitesurf foiling 20 foot jumps back rolls insane fun compared. I get going with a foil kite in 4 knots wind 😍
After watching your vids. This board is at the top of my toy list. let the games begin.

I tried an airchair behind a boat about 30years ago was so hard I bet these boards are more stable it must be so cruisey and ☮️ ful thanks for sharing 🙏😃
I haven’t tried an air chair yet, but I bet you are right. The first few days are pretty hard learning but after that, it’s like riding a bike.

Like I think I get it what u mean. In my words it like a freedom on the water you are in control your gliding across the water almost flying its an amazing feeling.just make the blood pump along with the heart. Saw a guy down at Sanders in cda along the lake riding one it was pretty sweet to watch ❤❤❤

Seeing these boxes in the garage and comparing them to the AliBaba wooden crate from the other video, I think I have more confidence in the AliBaba product. ;-)

I'm a big fan of Electric Unicycles, then i've seen this device, pretty tempting but sadly very expensive, how much range approx. does it have ?
If the price of these ever drops I'd pick one up so fast! I just couldn't gut spending that coin for 4 months of riding
Get a dry suit, I ride in Squamish BC and ride from march till end of October! Worth every penny!!
@DaveNorona yeah I have a few different suits. I've been riding stand up jet skis for years in Illinois.We have seen snow the first week of October and i just don't enjoy cold water at all 🤣 We get the SxS and bikes out after mid September and usually don't get back out till June. Sometimes earlier, if we get a decent spring

You should try windsurf foil or wing foil.. no need to charge batteries..
While nifty, $13K is a lot of cheddar which is why Lift are out of the price range of most. EFoils are like JetSki's in that it's all fun when they are new and they work and then they become a money pit. For those that have access to wind, you can get a wing sail and foil board and fly all day for a fraction of the price.
Don't agree. I (snowboard, wakeboard, wing Foil, kite, E skate, One wheeler....) have fun with my Lift since 3 years and am still mesmerized.
Congrats for the new foil man!!! 👏👏👏 Meanwhile, here in Brazil, my only contact with this spectacular efoils is by video, ´cause the prices are prohibitive for us.
There is more cheap options if you´ll love the sport. They are not the same, no as good as lift, but you can still enjoying. Mine cost me 7k euros, and I love it.
But first of all you should rent one and get lessons to see if you liek it or not.

Do you have to register those things where you are? I'd imagine they are in a grey area right now but I feel like in my state it'd fall under a personal watercraft since it is propelled by a motor and if you have to do that and follow all of the other rules for that type of watercraft then they'd become unusable on any public body of water.
Right now in Idaho you don’t need to register them, but they do come with paperwork and a hull number
@@EdwinOlding Interesting, it'd be a nice hobby to get into if I run into that kind of money or if/when they get cheaper. Hopefully when they do get more popular they aren't outlawed in certain bodies of water or heavily regulated. I can see life jackets being mandatory and maybe needing a boating license to operate one. Anyways, thanks for the reply and love the content on this channel and the ghpc channel.
