    Impeccable amazing carbon fiber work...great Efoil too...but the craftsmanship on the carbon is an art on its own brother...I wish you could build a Fliteboard Efoil board for me...I have the fliteboarod Efoil but would love to have a custom board build by you. great job man

    Come sempre lavori sopraffini, impensabili da raggiungere per oggetti fatti in serie!
    Complimenti per la grandissima cura esecutiva e di progetto nonché la raffinatezza nelle scelte costruttive dei materiali !
    Questo nuovo hydrofoil elettrico è una bella realizzazione con tanta funzionalità.
    Può anche essere un ottimo metodo propedeutico per apprendere gli equilibri dell'hydrofoil prima di passare al kite.
    Personalmente rimane superlativa la realizzazione del Box wing 2, forme eccellenti e concetti 👏
    Con il doppio wing, a parità di alto AR, raddoppia la superfice totale e ne aumenta la resistenza a flessione per via della maggiore sezione geometrica.
    Saranno anche DIY ma sono opere d'arte della tecnologia!

    Looks fantastic. I do this all the time except my parts cost $$$ airplane parts. None of this is DIY🤣.... Between the molds and the process not including the tools. For an average Joe this would be a HUGE undertaking. The resin infusion helps make the entire process a bit easier.

    Wow, that is so beautiful, how did you Cool your batteries in the E foil, because the battery looks to be fairly large. And did it heat up a lot whilst you were using it. Your E foil is the coolest one I have ever seen

    • @Brucecreations77
      @Brucecreations77  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Aedan, thanks. I cooled only the ESC, the battery doesn't require cooling because is correctly dimensioned. I used the foil several times full throttle for more than an hour but never gets more than 40/45°C.

      Hi thanks! They are provided with the motor by FlyRodeo, I searched for them but I never find them. They are perfect for such this application because of they have a lot of copper in a thin section.

    Bruce! So I've got some twil carbon on the top of my board like yours.. I've done a split layup design .. I want to do one layer of twil on the bottom and then put one layer of the nice cool honeycomb arimid carbon that you also use on the bottom. But wondering how I can get nice clean lines and a proper split between the twil and the honeycomb.

      I produced a profile that match the two half using one side of the mold and the model

  • @PerWiklund234
    @PerWiklund234 ปีที่แล้ว +2

    I looked to me like you just pressed together the mast moulds halves with epoxy+milled carbon or similar over the fabric. Is that correct? Or did you vacuum bag each half first? I have done some experiments with both. And also with epoxy+micro balloons. Always a bit afraid to get air pocket and dry spots without bagging. Any secret method you would like to share?

    • @Brucecreations77
      @Brucecreations77  ปีที่แล้ว +4

      I simply wet-lay the two halves with carbon fiber until they are filled, I take care to remove the entrapped air, I put some extra resin in the middle and close and press the mold. For sure you'll have some little trapped air (very very few if you wet lay properly) but in a full carbon fiber mast it doesn't make any difference in terms of mechanical properties.
