Thank you very much. I have deep admiration and thanks for your work. The book ‘The dinghy cruising companion’ was with me all the way. It’s what helped me get fully prepared. Thank you very much for writing it.
Great stuff, very boys own. Exactly the sort of thing I hope to do in the future! Very interesting to learn about the history of the route you took. Awesome rainbows. Best wishes Al
@@DariusNmN thanks Darius! Minor correction though, Artemis is an Albacore not a Wayfarer. Similar size, but a much more easily driven hull. I have all the components to complete a slab reefing system nor, but am away with scouts this weekend. I hope to have everything in place for next weekend though. You never know, if I'm together enough there might be another video from me. Al
This route has been used for at least 2300 years, if you look at the DNA mapping of Ulster and the Western Isles of Scotland, migration has occured before the Romans invaded Britain in Abt the 1 Century CE. My ancestors crossed this passage many times to Mull for work, brides, and likely as not, war.
Three go mental in a mirror!! Love it…!
What a great adventure.
Three palls and an awesome little boat.😊
The rainbow resembling the northern lights was amazing!
The adventure continues - I am enjoying this.
Excellent videos!

I’m a Mirror 16 too!
I'm surprised at how well she sails. I've no idea why they weren't as popular as Wayfarers?
A hell of a boat to do this in...what a success!
Really enjoying the journey and the history behind it.
