Dio, the incarnation of pure evil, someone who had planned to obtain a power so great he would rule over any imaginable being, got punched hard and died. Diavolo got one of the worst imaginable fates for giving drugs to kids.
His name was literally devil in italian tho, Dio is called god in italian and giorno is his son, so basically Jesus condemned the devil to an eternal death (hell)
@@jellymatsuryuka6853 If we look past the religious stuff, we realize that well he isn't the best person, but he isn't the worst either, as at one point he had a genuine relationship that was good enough to have a daughter. Plus, if you compare the end goals one is a heavier burden. Diavolo just wanted to keep quiet and make money, Dio wanted to obtain an ability that would rule the universe, and he is also the incarnation of evil, as had been stated. Not saying diavolo didn't deserve to get beaten up but he definitely didn't deserve infinite death.
The fact that ger is sentient and probably chose to put diavolo in an inf death instead of it being just some side effect of killing someone makes it more terrifying.
My favorite fan theory about why Giorno didn't show up in Part 6 when Pucci summoned the sons of Dio: he was understandably confused about why he suddenly started randomly traveling to Florida, but then once he got there he noticed all the signs and advertisements for Disney World, decided "sure, why not?" and just went on vacation instead. Even the most powerful stand user and crime boss in the world needs to get some R&R once in a while.
I have my own version for this, the reason why Giorno didn’t go to Florida was because Mista found out about it and stopped Giorno from going because he would be the 4th son there. Idk how i thought of this don’t ask me lol
The best way to conceptualize how scary GER is. Is to imagine something just saying "no" to any action and decision you can do in your life. Including the mercy of death.
Infinite deaths is actually just a part of Reset to Zero. He turns diavolo's death counter to zero right after killing him, which causes a sort of glitch in reality where the universe thinks diavolo should be dead, but the counter keeps turning to zero, so he gets stuck on a loop were he dies Infinitely but keeps coming back because technically his death count is 0.

Diavolo's death loop is actually a perfect representation of why I love Giorno as a character. It's like Jonathan's righteous indignation that would cause Giorno to stop at nothing to make sure this evil was stopped plus the fact that the death loop itself when you break it down is also a profoundly cruel/unmerciful thing to do. It's like capital punishment for eternity.
You know I think most people can agree ger is strongest cannon stand(cause the world over heaven exists) but I’m just happy araki confirmed wonder of u is the strongest villain stand
The infinity between 0 and 1 is what GER is most likely based off. As Gold Experience Requiem's function can somewhat be linked to logic (in a similar way to Wonder of U but not entirely) with that logic being Boolean logic. Two states, 0 or 1, on or off, yes or no, A or B. If one is present, the other cannot be. This logic is one of the simplest logics in the entire universe and I think that's what is so scary about Requiem. Since it is based off zero, it works by removing 'one' from the equation. That 'one' being attacks by people, stands, events or abilities. Anything that attempts to affect or harm Giorno is trying to get to the state of 'one': hurting Giorno. But Requiem always changes that state to 'zero' and forces any actions and wills to 'return to zero'. Even other things such as cause and effect are operators of Boolean logic and that's why Requiem can even undo things such as Time Erasure since it still operates on that same logic scale. Things like life or death, are Boolean and so GER can still revert death. Infinitely. The infinite death sequence works on this logic since Diavolo's death is the 1 and everytime he is nearly killed he is at 0.99999999... Just before he can truly reach 1 and die, GER reset him to 0 and restarts the process. The concept of infinite deaths is even possible with this idea since there is an infinite amount of numbers between 0 and 1. There is 0.1, 0.01, 0.82947387728731, 0.0000000047200048205738200003191... And so on and so forth, every time that Diavolo gets close to dying and is reset. He simply goes further and further from the truth of his death. Think about it, the drug addict killing him was the most logically close thing to killing Diavolo, closest thing to his 'truth'. But then he is teleported to a surgery room and has his liver removed without having any prior knowledge of why he is here. Then he is in a city and is killed by oncoming traffic and the last we see of him is on a cliff in the countryside with a little girl coming up behind him. The idea is that he keeps getting further from what really killed him, the 'truth' that GER speaks about during the 'Return to Zero'. And even this can be explained as him getting further and further from 1. Deeper and deeper into infinite because true and false are two operators used in, Boolean logic. That is why Requiem wins every interaction and battle since to battle it, you have an endpoint and a starting point. Two operators. Boolean. Gold Experience Requiem wins because every interaction that has every taken place, can be simplified into two states and therefore can be expressed in Boolean logic since you can describe those states with terms like 0 or 1, true or false, yes or no, etc. You want to attack Giorno? Yes. Did you attack Giorno? No. You wanna stop time? Yes. Did you stop time? No. You want to experience death? Yes. Do you get to die? *No.* That is the terror of Gold Experience Requiem, you don't get to do anything. You can't do anything. Does not matter if you can erase time, stop time, infinitely spin an object, speed up time INFINITELY, control calamities, destroy planets, fire beams of energy, teleport. Like Big Boss said, "Everything does not start at one but starts at zero." That's why the one time (in a non-canon video game) Gold Experience Requiem lost was against The World Over Heaven. It was because DIO wrote in REALITY itself that he is already at 'one', Requiem could not return him to zero since DIO had removed 'zero' as a state for himself. He is the Noble *One* for a reason. In short, Gold Experience Requiem is most likely based off the idea of 'Boolean logic' in which everything interaction and you have experienced can be reduced to two simple states. One and zero. Thus GER can manipulate every interaction and experience ANYONE HAS, regardless of their established powers and abilities unless they can manipulate that logic as well. Gold Experience Requiem is terrifying because you can no longer affect your own states now, you can no longer move or do anything of your own accord once Requiem perceives it as a threat to Giorno. And once it decides it, it is an infinity of never doing anything ever again. You will never reach the truth. You will never reach 'one'.
To simplify, basically... GER is so powerful, that even when the premonition of giorno dying(which was the future) it reverted that fate back to zero. Meaning that even when he's about to lose, that loss gets eradicated.
No the premonition from epitaph was still correct. It still played out how Epitaph saw it but since epitaph didn't completely see Giorno die, that created a small hole that GER could exploit. The problem with Diavolo's epitaph ability is that Diavolo can't choose what epitaph sees and what epitaph sees is fixed or fated to happen.
the premonition will happen only if he do it. just like how you know you will die if you stand in the street, as long as you dont do it, it never happen
@@christiankirby8092 But Epitah showed how Diavolo donuts Giorno but after that When he tried attacking Giorno it was reverted so Diavolo didn't hit Giorno in the first place while Epitah still showed the same future Giorno Killed Diavolo and the fate never happened.
Gold Experience Requiem, doesn't rewind time erase, Like diavolo said "I never moved to begin with" Gold experience himself said that diavolo was just witnessing an illusion of what his future actions were going to be. I always figured that GER and the unscaled stat block was from it basically being a prime example of Hax vs Power. The stats are entirely irrelevant when you can basically do anything
About Time Erase: Diavolo is legit erasing time, but it has the effect of wiping your memory of what you did, mostly because whatever was erased essentially never happened. Diavolo is also unable to interact with anything during Time Erase, since he essentially exists outside of time during this power. Things continue on as fate shows when he uses Epitaph. This is why Diavolo never attacks during Time Erase, because he simply cannot. He always times his attacks to the moment Time Erase ends. One of the reasons he's able to use his blood to blind his opponent is because, as with Josuke in Part 4, once the blood leaves his body, it is no longer "a part of him" thus his blood is able to interact with things once he leaves his person. One thing people like to mention is how did Narancia get lifted onto the spikes? There's a simple explanation for it, Diavolo used Epitaph to see himself lifting up Narancia, but he used Time Erase in order to continue blending in so no one would be able to see who's body he was inhabiting. Epitaph allows Diavolo to see fate, so he was fated to lift up Narancia, but Time Erase allows him to operate outside of the bounds of fate. Actions that were fated to happen still happen, but Diavolo essentially gets to choose his own fate during the time his power is active. Because he knew how fate would play out, he simply used Time Erase, and Narancia would be "lifted up" by fate onto the railing without Diavolo himself actually touching Narancia. This still follows the rules of how Time Erase works, while also keeping in line with the rule that Diavolo is unable to interact with the world during Time Erase. Hamon Beat has a pretty good video on explaining in detail how Time Erase works, but to put it in easy terms: It erases the cause but keeps the effect, just how GER erases the effect but keeps the cause. Both manipualte causality and work opposite of each other.
@@weirdkid5 But by the OP's description of how Diavolo's time erase works Diavolo never touched Narancia but rather the fated him did it. Epitaph basically fixes fate, and it cannot be changed under any circumstance. Even with GER epitaph's ability was still correct because it fixes fate, and it becomes unavoidable. If Diavolo used epitaph as OP said and saw himself carry Narancia onto the spikes and proceeded to use his time erase ability, Diavolo would see the fated Diavolo lift Narancia onto the spikes and he would just be there watching himself do it while no one knows what is happening because also like how OP said time erase removes the effects and keeps the cause. The cause being Narancia being lifted onto the spikes as foreseen by epitaph (epitaph is the cause in all situations of time erase) and the effect being everyone's perception of time and what is going on around them which seems to almost always be the effect of Diavolo's time erase ability. Just the cause changes from what epitaph sees. Also, probably should note that time erase can't activate without first using epitaph. Diavolo has to first foresee the future to be able to erase it as once epitaph has foreseen the future it becomes fixed or fated to happen and therefore what epitaph saw is how things play out in erased time.
@@weirdkid5 oh well I thought you were agreeing with the other guy who said Narancia's body just floated up and dropped itself on spikes which I guess from the crews perspective is what happened so I guess you aren't wrong either and I wrote an essay for nothing.

GER really is the scariest stand, and although I can understand and respect Araki’s decision of rewriting the universe, I wish GER showed up to give one last hurrah.
GER probably is permanent, Due the the arrow being able to be used multiple times. The same arrow was used on silver chariot to give it a requiem, and the arrow didn’t fully absorb yet SCR was fully active and didn’t revert. Im pretty sure this is enough to say that the arrow can be used multiple times, and if it is used for long enough you receive a permanent requeim
I think people get the wrong impression about GER’s stats - Diavolo clearly can react to it, it’s simply that the ability essentially means that just by having GER out he passively wins the battle. Stats don’t matter if you win just by existing, so he essentially has no stats
Yeah, this one mofo said Tusk act 4 could beat him due to Infinite rotation scaling about anything we see GER do and just completely forgets GER has the power of NU HU
thing is, infinite death loop means there will be infinite scenarios too, good AND bad ones. Its an incredible blessing and an even bigger curse in disguise. He will go through EVERY possible death and its length could be from 0 to infinite.
For the Ultimate Stand thing, I always saw it as it saying Star Platinum is the strongest 'regular' (as in non-requiem) stand and GER is just The Strongest Stand

I thought GER had to "kill" you first before putting you in the death loop. Like how giorno said diavolo would never reach the truth of his death its because GER killed diavolo by punching him and then used the return to zero ability to keep reverting his death to zero over and over again.
Giorno never killed diavolo, the drug addict that stabbed him did but GER just started the death loop right before Diavolo passed the life to death threshold when he was stabbed
Another reason they might not mention GER in Part 6 as an in-universe contender for the ultimate Stand is that they simply don't know about it. @@ZAPRST8879 Yes, yes it does. It literally renders people incapable of moving while it forces them to spectate every single event in the universe up until it dies and everyone dies and gets reborn with the memory of those events in a new universe. Killing every single human in existance only to give them "true happiness" is precisely Pucci's end goal and that's precisely what happens, everybody dies and pucci resets the universe. GER couldn't stop it, Universal tier > GER, that simple. Your misplaced hype is none of my business, son.
First of all, I agree with everything that you said. Second of all, this "laser beam" GER had thrown at Diavolo was actually just a rock thrown at an incredible speed, and then being turned into scorpions. Apart from that, I have to say that I'm glad someone informs people about the actual capabilities of MIN. Some people think that he can move in stopped time, not understanding that he can only accelerate or slow down time.(I mean....it was shown in the manga too, he was frozen). In addition, this thing you said Giorno does that makes people think they're full of energy (I'm referring to Bucciarati scene), I think he actually separates people's soul from their body.(it's this "dominates" souls thing). This way you can explain the infinite deaths. Diavolo's soul is experiencing infinite deaths due to death reset. What matters though is that GER is on top, some people think that this God ex machina shit go beyond is better, but they don't realise the speed and abilities of GER
One thing about the pebble that GER shot at Diavolo I still don't understand nor see people bring up is that that pebble didn't turn into the scorpion. You can see that pebble completely pierced Diavolo's hand and hit some terrain behind him and so this makes me think that GER can transfer life from one thing into another. Like say in that very clip, he imbued that pebble with life and shot it at Diavolo but as it made contact with Diavolo, all the life in the pebble was transferred into Diavolo's hand changing his finger into a scorpion. This also implies that GER can do something normal GE could not and that is changing living things into another form of a living thing. GE could only turn none living things into living things whereas from the clip with the pebble and Diavolo's finger becoming a scorpion, it shows GER can change the form of life completely. Kind of like how Ultimate Life Form Kars could change himself from one living thing into another but GER can turn anything from nonliving to living into any form of life. With an ability like this alone even without GER's RTZ he could still easily beat many characters as he can turn them into say an ant or even a plant which can't do much and just kill it.
@@christiankirby8092 yes, he can indeed do that. After all, GER is more of an evolution to GE. It was also stated that GER maintains GE original abilities but they are greatly improved, so that makes perfect sense.

Not necessarily. There’s an infinite number of possibilities between one and two, but among them, there is never a three. Then again, the parameters could be just “haha, you die now”
I think the reason GER is more powerful than stands like Tusk act 4 and D4C is the fact that the basis for their powers is “Infinity” while GER’s is “Zero”. Any number multiplied by infinity except for Zero will become infinity, however infinity multiplied by Zero is Zero. It doesn’t matter what the other stands could do, they could destroy the universe and GER could still revert it to Zero, undoing the action.

Golden experience on its own is extremely terrifying because of the life punch and the fact any animal can kill you but the extra consequence of possibly dying if you try to fight the animal back. Almost no weaknesses
It is very likely that the infinite death loop is an evolution of the life trip he used on buccaratti, causing the opponent to trip hallucinating their demise while being kept alive by the reset to zero keeping them from starving/dehydrating/etc., or life give to replenish human needs
in my opinion GER abilities are the evolution of GE abilities , the "life beam" is just stone given life propulsed at high speed (which transform into scorpions) , the fact that diavolo hadn't moved from the spot when trying to attack giorno would be the life shot evolution, also I feel like the stand having no stats wouldn't mean that ger has stronger strength than star platinum nor speed of MIH , to me it doesn't require it , from what we saw the stand act on its own and it's range is massive , it kinda act as Wonder of U in the fact that trying to attack giorno would trigger the ability instantly , I think that GER doesn't need stand stats because its power render those useless I still think it's faster and average than most average stand (the one not specialised like MIH is in speed )
If you ask me GER has imeasurable stats for a reason araki wouldn’t just give GER imeasurable stats to GER if it didn’t mean something besides GER speed blitzed king crimson so he got a considerable speed boost from the arrow
It's honestly confusing wether or not Bites the Dust is a Requiem stand For the NOT a Requiem side: 1. The arrow hit Kira, not Killer Queen. When Polnareff was explaining the abilities of the arrow, he stated that requiem happens if a stand gets hit by the arrow, not the person. This implies that the arrow wanted to give Kira a stand, but since he already has one, the arrow gave a power related to his stand 2. The arrow was moving on its own. If you've seen part 4, you'd know that the arrow is attracted to anyone with stand potential. And since the arrow moved on its own and stabbed Kira, it implies that Bites the Dust is another stand instead of requiem As for the it is a Requiem side: The arrow apparently fulfils the users desires, this is shown when the arrow fulfils Giorno's wish of killing Diavolo by making Giorno have a 100% chance at success of beating Diavolo with powers like Return to Zero and Infinite Death As for Kira, he wishes to keep his identity a secret, so the arrow gives him Bites the Dust, and ability that kills ANYONE who tries to uncover Kira's true identity So yeah... It's confusing
You deserve so much more subs for the amount of effort and depth you put into these videos explaining away stands and their abilities to the fullest it's truly a golden experience
I imagine the ‘life laser beam’ is more like him flicking something so incredibly fast is blurs the line of looking like the original object or looking like a laser beam
Another thing, imagine that the ‘infinite death loop’ could be altered by GER. With the theory that the ‘infinite death loop’ is controlled by ‘return to zero’ it would make sense that GER could potentially make the death loop anything else. Maybe instead of death, it could be your worst fears repeating forever, or the best things that could possibly happen to you. It makes GER potentially even scarier
@@rainwayva Well you are right about one thing but wrong about the other. GER can make you experience infinite horror using RTZ but not the way you seem to have written it out. Firstly, he doesn't change causes or effects. He simply removes the cause from the effect. If you wanted to make someone experience infinite horror, then this is how you would do it. Step 1. Scare the living shit out of someone. Doesn't matter how you do it so long as for a brief moment they experience horror. Step 2. Use RTZ in that instance to remove the cause of the horror from the effect of the horror. Now the victims cause of the horror is gone but the effect of it still goes on creating an infinite horror loop with the universe trying to find what caused the victim the horror but never finding it because GER's RTZ erased that cause. In essence GER can make you feel anything an infinite amount of time if he chooses to erase the cause of what you feel from the effect of what you feel. You can feel infinite happiness or sadness or distrust or misery. Literally can make you feel anything an infinite number of times. Also, Diavolo never felt infinites deaths but more like infinite instances of being close to death. The fans have called in the wrong thing. It's not actually an infinite death loop but rather an infinite loop of Diavolo's close experience with death. With that understanding calling it the infinite death loop as an ability doesn't seem quite right. A more fitting and accurate name for the ability would be something similar to "An infinite feeling" (I know doesn't sound as cool, but I was just coming about with something accurate and on the spot.) In Diavolo's cause he has an infinite feeling of being close to death. GER used his RTZ as Diavolo was feeling his death approaching and so removes the cause of his death approaching being him getting barraged by GER so now he infinitely experiences coming close to dying. Note I say coming close to dying and not just straight up dying. Even in the anime and manga we never truly see Diavolo die but come close to dying. When he does come close that fills the cause that GER removed with RTZ and ends the simulation but since it isn't the correct cause it creates another simulation where Diavolo again experience coming close to but not dying. Sorry about the long and unorganized rant on this I am sure you probably won't read this, nor anyone will but if anyone does, please let me know on what you think of this.
Killer Queen didn’t get hit by the arrow. Yoshikage did. Gold Experience did get hit by the arrow. that’s the difference between Requiem and Killer Queen’s new abilities. There is virtually no difference between the arrows you see in Part 4 and Part 5. Realistically, you should be able to awaken a Requiem stand with the same arrow that unlocked Killer Queen’s new abilities.
In part 5 it was explained that the requiem arrow has an additional dose of the virus that causes Stands to exist. There's also a visual addition to the arrow that looks like a beetle. I'd assume that a normal arrow would kind of work, but it'd be a lot weaker. Stands are the manifestation of one's ambitions and a Requiem Stand is taking it even further, so I can only assume that it takes a lot of effort to make a Requiem/Evolved Stand. Longer explanation and some extra thoughts: Killer Queen: Bites the Dust was the result of Kira being in the most emotional turmoil of his entire life (from what we can see) which caused the arrow to gravitate towards him and pierce him again, granting him a new ability, but it had some severe limitations like his own memory not persisting, needing a host, the Stand not being usable while it's planted on someone else. KQ:BTD also gains a red glow in its eyes and it seemed to move faster and hit harder when fighting Josuke and Crazy Diamond, but was quickly overwhelmed after their first encounter. Golden Experience Requiem took effect even though King Crimson punched GE's face off and brought Giorno back from the brink of death, gave GE a whole new appearance, increased its stats to the point it could effortlessly beat King Crimson and might even be the physically strongest in the series, and of course gave it the most overpowered canon ability of just ignoring anything that could happen to Giorno. One interesting similarity is that Killer Queen: Bites the Dust and GER both gained some degree of sentience. GER was straight up speaking and moving without Giorno's input while time was skipping and said Giorno didn't know what was going on. KQ:BTD seemed to display some newfound fighting skills despite Kira never really having much proficiency with Stand-on-Stand combat, and when planted on Hayato, automatically prevented Kira from hurting Hayato and even prevented Hayato from trying to kill himself with a knife.
@@epsilon752 The only thing that supports this is that the Beetle Arrow was made with the extra material left after making the other ones, hence they made a beetle with all that extra material It doesn't necessarily mean it holds more power, it just has more material
@@Jack_Woods Pretty sure they straight up said in Part 5 that it has a higher dose or something. I'll have to watch it again to be sure though Edit: I don't think they outright said anything about material or viral doses, so it's just implied. Bigger arrow = more material = more virus.
My personal theory as to how the "infinite death loop" works is that Gold Experience Requiem actually transports Diavolo's soul into an about-to-die body, so that he may live any current death that's happening around the world, and when his soul is about to pass on he's transported into the next one for eternity. I'm kinda basing this idea off of the assumption that GER doesn't actually manipulate time, it manipulates souls like Chariot Requiem, but specifically their position in space and time. To me this idea is pretty interesting, cause it's kinda like he's paying for his sins by taking the fall for others and their suffering, sparing them in the process. But idk, am i off base? Or what do ya think?
I think it goes like this: Diavolo is supposed to be dead (GER BD) but GER wont allow him to die, thus using RTZ to stop him from dying, yet he is supposed to be dead so fate (idk) creates another scenario where Diavolo dies, but GER wont allow him to die. So GER infinitely stops him from dying when he is supposed to be dead.
Brilliant take, judging by how ger is an evolution of ge and that ge actually had a vaguely similar ability which is the life punch that was shown in the giorno vs bruno fight And i like how you said diavolo took the pain for the other souls because dio translates to god and since giorno is his son he is technically "jesus" and jesus spares souls
GeR's main ability is cancelling the effect of any cause, and replacing the effect with a loop or with another cause, so GeR simply cancels the effect of getting stabbed or getting run over by a car, which would normally be death, but instead is replaced with another cause. GeR sort of has the opposite ability to King Crimson, KC can move and alter the cause of anything but the effect is the same, while GeR can delete and alter the effect of anything while retaining the cause
Star platinum is the ultimate stand because it was the one that jotaro had, he didn't use something too gain the world he only 'learnt' how to do it. While the requiem arrow saw giorno as worthy and decided too evolve it almost making it above a stand.
8:55 That wasn't a laser beam. That was his scale / exoskeleton that was shedded and floating alongside him. He flicked it so hard it became just a line towards its trajectory. This drawing is pretty common in mangas.
Based on how it was depicted in the anime I think that "Life Laser" was him flicking a rock charged with so much life energy and at such high speed it broke King Crimsons hand, destroyed the wall behind him, and then turned the broken pieces of the wall into Scorpions with the life energy that was in the rock.
My interpretation on infinite deaths was that the body “died” and is just there, while the mind/soul is super accelerated (like the previous ability) but accelerated in a way it pictures itself dying again again and again and actually feeling it
Hey METAs, correct me if I’m wrong but I though king crimson had a certain range of effect, was said when Giorno and others were running to meet Bucciarati.
Imagine Diavolo in one of the death loops is sitting in a chair thinking it’s finally over and then he falls back and cracks his head like our teachers warned us about at school.
What’s more unfortunate, Kars being in space for all eternity, so long that he just stopped thinking. Or, Diavolo dying infinitely not knowing how he truly died
Def. Diavolo. He infinitely suffers to no end, kars stopped thinking, and he'll eventually hit a star/planet. Kars doesn't necessarily feel any pain, just the feeling of not being able to breathe, which he'll get used to eventually. Meanwhile, Diavolo is in a loop, and feels either unbearable pain or just dies peacefully, and considering its a loop, he'll likely stay this miserable forever.
@@lockheedac-1303 (spoilers for part 6) I feel like the universe reset probably freed the original diavolo from the time loop… however there could be a alternate diavolo that I don’t know about (since I haven’t seen or read about any Jojo things past part 6) But I guess that frees Kars as well
@@TrapCardDis Not certainly. It's an alternate universe, yes, but only those who died were replaced. I heard somewhere that diavolos loop was in an alternate universe altogether, but im not sure. As for Kars, Fate already decided his "death", meaning it may not have exactly happened as in P2, but he ended in space either way
I never understood why people struggle with GER or King Crimson, they can be explained in a sentence each. GER removes Effect from Cause and Effect. King Crimson removes Cause from Cause and Effect. Wow, so hard.
In the part 5 guide book they decided GER wasn’t broken enough. The official description for the death loop is “Gold Experience Requiem subconsciously created an infinite amount of parallel dimensions and having Diavolo die in each and every one before destroying it entirely” BASE GER DID THAT APPERENTLY . which means GER can create and destroy dimensions without even thinking about it. The issue I have though is Trish said she could still feel Diavolo’s life even after he “died” so unless their father/daughter connection goes through universes idk. I’m still going to say GER can create and destroy infinite dimensions at will

A minor correction: GE:R does actually seem to lose damage reflection. If he didn’t lose damage reflection, Diavollo would have been crushed after stepping on the scorpions GE:R created. Edit: Okay, okay, I get it. GE:R only loses damage reflection in the anime.
He doesnt lose the damage reflection what are you talking about? It was an animation mistake and it only happened once where diavolo killed the scorpion but it never happened in the manga so therefore you can say that diavolo never stepped on the scorpion. Even if he did he would have died because there is nothing the proves that Ger loses some of its abilities
i like to think that pucci during the final fight was playing with the main cast to the point where he could move in stopped time but decided not to because he knew that either way they couldnt stop him (my reason for this argument is that pucci using cmoon could kinda move in stopped time for a bit, and since time is linked to gravity and mih has complete control over both)
I've always interpreted Star Platinum description in part 6 as being the ultimate/most powerful Stand in raw strength (the strength of his punches and kicks are unrivaled by any other Stand). It doesn't mean he has the best Stand ability that can't be countered by anyone (the last arc of Stone Ocean clearly depicts that it's not the case).
ACTUALLY I THINK DIAVOLO'S DEATH LOOP IS IN HIS HEAD BUT CANT SEE THROUGH IT BUT FEELS EVERY PAIN WHICH IS WHY HE WILL NEVER REACH TRUTH OR FIND OUT HIS REAL DEATH CAUSE HE PROBABLY NEEDS TO SEE PAST THE LOOP TO ESCAPE IT BUT HE IS CONSTANTLY FEARING WHAT WILL HAPPEN

5:10 Cause ypu mentioned it, i have a question. If Notorius BIG is supposed to chase the fastest thing in its vacinity, and it can also surpass that thing's speed, can Notorius BIG outspeed MIH?
One of my theories which I STILL hold to this day is that for ger to get their ability onto the enemy, the stand itself HAS to at least touch the victim just like tusk act 4. I theorise this because well it makes sense, why else would he shoot Diavolo with a rock, I mean he's already going to time erase and try kill him. It's kind of like a counter, he does almost nothing just because he touched him, waiting for king crimson to almost be done, and BAM! Without any other visible sign other than things going back in time, rtz happens. This is why he couldn't stop the universe reset. Another theory is that Giorno still has requiem, although in the official games it's just like an awakening boost then it goes back to normal, but I guess that's just because it'll be too op. But my theory on Giorno still having requiem after he obtained the arrow back, is because Chariot Requiem still walked on too legs even without the arrow. Just makes total sense, requiems are not just a one time thing but they allow you to give another stand user a shot.
Araki himself stated that any attackers will and action will be reseted. BtZ has an universal range since it resets every single action in the universe to zero, then every action continue as normally except for the attack that will never reach the point of becoming true. Actions like a leaf falling from a tree or Mista shooting Diavolo go back to zero but once the reset is complete they continue as normally. Giorno doesn't need to hit someone to get reset his action. Now, why did GER shoot Diavolo? Easy answer, it was Giorno. Giorno doesn't know that GER is sentient so he would be freaked out if GER started attacking by his own. And since Giorno doesn't know about the abillity of BtZ, he just didn't do it to activate it. The reason why the Universal Reset didn't go back to zero is because it doesn't affect human beings and it doesn't has Giorno as a target at all.
@@crackaddict1692 Im sorry, but Im confused, if you mean that an action takes place but GER uses RTZ to Return it to Zero and then it continues again, youre wrong(I dont mean to sound rude), The action is Returned to Zero then the action will never take place again. @@imjustherefortehlulz King Crimson erase 10 seconds of time what basicaly dont exist but RTZ could still affect something what doesnt exist anymore so he could prob RTY Go beyond bubble
@@imjustherefortehlulz nope, GER is already reverting the erased time inside it. If you look at the background, before hitting GER the background is still the same inside the erased time, we can also see in the anime that it starts revertimg together with the bees, crows, bullets by mista and the leaves falling.
Wait isn’t the laser GER gets a callback to space ripper stingy eyes? I feel like maybe he inherited that since with BTD you could say being able to trap someone within a frame is similar to time looping. Also how I’d put the death loop is that GER keeps reseting Diavolo’s sort if “death position” to 0, constantly and maybe he’s actually on earth while this is happening since GER can’t create a new dimension with its ability.
I will always defend this position. Diavolo did not deserve infite suffering. Nobody does. Not even Hitler or any other person. Sure they deserve to suffer for quite a while, but infinite is never ever deserved.
GER is basically Giorno's Personal (Elder) God.Sentient self-defence ability. Made Giorno invulnerable to fate, can rewert any attack, can heal any wound just by creating spare body part from anything. No wonder Araki decide to stop "requium thing" on part 5? they just TOO powerful to JoJo univerce power level. Cosmic horror is very accurate description. GER like lovecarftian Elder God - he just not subject to laws of this univerce.
I think Diavolo can actually Erase Time. He just places himself outside of it. This would explain how he is able to witness and recall his surroundings rewinding from Return To Zero, as Mista and Trish do not remark about those events and instead remark on the fact Diavolo was defeated. If we treated Diavolo as being incapable of erasing time but rather erasing people's memories. Wouldn't this low balled stigma spread to every other stand ability in jojo? Such as Made in Heaven, The World, The Sun, Star Platinum, etc. If Made in heaven can Accelerate Time in the entire Universe within a rate equivalent to the proximity of a blackhole, and if The World can stop time for everything in the universe but the user, then why should King Crimson be incapable of Erasing Time for everything in the universe, aswell? There is a real world phenomenon that explains the passive experience of King Crimson's Erase Time. You know how you walk into a room and completely forget what you were trying to do?
Then that would make Diavolo is a 5th dimensional threat just on the lowerball and ger standing out of that would make him a 6th dimension threat severely lowballing. huh did not realize that
If we take all of JoJo (manga/anime/games ect) into account then we know the only thing that can even challenge ger is the power to re write reality witch is just absolutely absurd :|
To define that, we would have to group every single Stand in the Jojo Multiverse (this includes Wonder of U) and scale that. If GER is anything to go off of, most, if not all, Requiem Stands, would be able to beat the Jojo multiverse. Though it depends, really.
@@Johnny-hv7xc this depends if diavolo wants to be stronger than ger , since the requiem arrow grants what you desire the most , let's say jotaro wanted to be as fast as mih and used the requiem arrow , he would become as fast as mih . That is how the requiem arrow works
I have a theory that Soft and Wet: Go Beyond could beat GER. GER can cancel any attack in the world directed at him... but Go Beyond's bubbles don't exist, they're not from this world. This is explained several times at the end of part 8. So Gappy could use his bubbles against Giorno and, as they don't exist, they would not be detected by GER, making it possible for Gappy to defeat Giorno.
This is how I think of it as Return to Zero still functions of the logic that your actions will return to 0. Go beyond isnt bound by logic so untill Araki makes another guidebook I'm gonna have to go with Go Beyond as the winner.
There could be two ways GER works. Either it removes your will to attack or reverts your attack and freezes you. If it removes your will, then both Soft and Wet: Go Beyond and possibly Tusk Act 4 can beat it. If its the later then GER can defeat these other characters, but he'd become a lot weaker against other characters who do Passive attacks or unconscious attacks. That's why there's debate for if Goku defeats GER.
I love how we're arguing on the punch strength of ger when the punch doesnt even need to fly off for the fight to be over/never had been will start fuck
Someone has already mentioned it but Kira got hit by the arrow and not Killer Queen. Increasing its powers. Golden Experience got hit so its more like Golden Experience got its own stand with its own powers unique to it. Which checks with Chariot Requiem gaining new powers completely unrelated to its original powers. Sort of like a Stand Squared.
Not exactly tripping, but the energy being so high, such that Diavolo’s Consciousness has to pass through all possible ways that he could die, or basically the energy making his consciousness pass through all timelines that the universe would pass through while naturally resetting.

I like this!

I always figured that GER and the unscaled stat block was from it basically being a prime example of Hax vs Power. The stats are entirely irrelevant when you can basically do anything
About Time Erase:
Diavolo is legit erasing time, but it has the effect of wiping your memory of what you did, mostly because whatever was erased essentially never happened.
Hamon Beat has a pretty good video on explaining in detail how Time Erase works, but to put it in easy terms:
It erases the cause but keeps the effect, just how GER erases the effect but keeps the cause. Both manipualte causality and work opposite of each other.
Imagine Narancia's body just casually flying upwards just to jolt right into a bunch of broken bars.
@@1NegativeOne that's legit the only explanation since he can't touch anything during Time Erase lol
I think that in the bucciaraiti scene whit the berserker senses i think he literaly punches a soul into the persons body
@@A_very_good_cheese that's what I think too
One thing about the pebble that GER shot at Diavolo I still don't understand nor see people bring up is that that pebble didn't turn into the scorpion.

Diavolo could live the happiest life for 120 years and then die and repeat (although he knows that he will die)
Note: Everything is possible
come to think of it they may be some happy deaths too
He doesn’t live the life he is put right before the death with the knowledge of his previous deaths
Not necessarily.
There’s an infinite number of possibilities between one and two, but among them, there is never a three.
Then again, the parameters could be just “haha, you die now”
And in another one Jotaro creeps up to Diavolo and politely says "Mustard Mustard BITCHENESE" and diavolo dies

But TOAA is way more terrifying than GER
It is very likely that the infinite death loop is an evolution of the life trip he used on buccaratti, causing the opponent to trip hallucinating their demise while being kept alive by the reset to zero keeping them from starving/dehydrating/etc., or life give to replenish human needs
no he literally almost dies every single time but idk if im true im not araki
Diavolo had the power to control his own fate, the only power that could stop him was the power to control his fate against his will
or just be beyond fate itself
in my opinion GER abilities are the evolution of GE abilities , the "life beam" is just stone given life propulsed at high speed (which transform into scorpions) , the fact that diavolo hadn't moved from the spot when trying to attack giorno would be the life shot evolution, also I feel like the stand having no stats wouldn't mean that ger has stronger strength than star platinum nor speed of MIH , to me it doesn't require it , from what we saw the stand act on its own and it's range is massive , it kinda act as Wonder of U in the fact that trying to attack giorno would trigger the ability instantly , I think that GER doesn't need stand stats because its power render those useless I still think it's faster and average than most average stand (the one not specialised like MIH is in speed )
If you ask me GER has imeasurable stats for a reason araki wouldn’t just give GER imeasurable stats to GER if it didn’t mean something besides GER speed blitzed king crimson so he got a considerable speed boost from the arrow
8:55 it's not life laser, he picked up a fragment of stone and infused it with life energy and 'shots' it
It's honestly confusing wether or not Bites the Dust is a Requiem stand
For the NOT a Requiem side:
1. The arrow hit Kira, not Killer Queen. When Polnareff was explaining the abilities of the arrow, he stated that requiem happens if a stand gets hit by the arrow, not the person. This implies that the arrow wanted to give Kira a stand, but since he already has one, the arrow gave a power related to his stand
2. The arrow was moving on its own. If you've seen part 4, you'd know that the arrow is attracted to anyone with stand potential. And since the arrow moved on its own and stabbed Kira, it implies that Bites the Dust is another stand instead of requiem
As for the it is a Requiem side:
The arrow apparently fulfils the users desires, this is shown when the arrow fulfils Giorno's wish of killing Diavolo by making Giorno have a 100% chance at success of beating Diavolo with powers like Return to Zero and Infinite Death
As for Kira, he wishes to keep his identity a secret, so the arrow gives him Bites the Dust, and ability that kills ANYONE who tries to uncover Kira's true identity
So yeah... It's confusing
You deserve so much more subs for the amount of effort and depth you put into these videos explaining away stands and their abilities to the fullest it's truly a golden experience
Your explanations are always awesome to watch.
Thank you
I imagine the ‘life laser beam’ is more like him flicking something so incredibly fast is blurs the line of looking like the original object or looking like a laser beam
Gold Experience Requiem in the anime: *Pure Epic*

@@rygornspectre7142 araki made it hard for me, that made me say “Read the fucking anime first”
Killer Queen didn’t get hit by the arrow.
Longer explanation and some extra thoughts:
Killer Queen: Bites the Dust was the result of Kira being in the most emotional turmoil of his entire life (from what we can see) which caused the arrow to gravitate towards him and pierce him again, granting him a new ability, but it had some severe limitations like his own memory not persisting, needing a host, the Stand not being usable while it's planted on someone else.

@@Jack_Woods Pretty sure they straight up said in Part 5 that it has a higher dose or something. I'll have to watch it again to be sure though
Edit: I don't think they outright said anything about material or viral doses, so it's just implied.
Omg that's a wonderful take!! 😲
Brilliant take, judging by how ger is an evolution of ge and that ge actually had a vaguely similar ability which is the life punch that was shown in the giorno vs bruno fight
And i like how you said diavolo took the pain for the other souls because dio translates to god and since giorno is his son he is technically "jesus" and jesus spares souls
I like to think that Diavolo as he tear apart ,,unreachable" Chariot Requiem, he found a way to escape death loop
8:55 That wasn't a laser beam. That was his scale / exoskeleton that was shedded and floating alongside him. He flicked it so hard it became just a line towards its trajectory. This drawing is pretty common in mangas.
I thought it was a rock
The editing goes hard fr 🔥
Based on how it was depicted in the anime I think that "Life Laser" was him flicking a rock charged with so much life energy and at such high speed it broke King Crimsons hand, destroyed the wall behind him, and then turned the broken pieces of the wall into Scorpions with the life energy that was in the rock.
My interpretation on infinite deaths was that the body “died” and is just there, while the mind/soul is super accelerated (like the previous ability) but accelerated in a way it pictures itself dying again again and again and actually feeling it

He doesnt lose the damage reflection what are you talking about? It was an animation mistake and it only happened once where diavolo killed the scorpion but it never happened in the manga so therefore you can say that diavolo never stepped on the scorpion. In short ger never losed any abilities even in the anime
Imagine you low key had the stand god by the end of your arc and the next appearance you make is expressly to get worfed by your own father
i like to think that pucci during the final fight was playing with the main cast to the point where he could move in stopped time but decided not to because he knew that either way they couldnt stop him (my reason for this argument is that pucci using cmoon could kinda move in stopped time for a bit, and since time is linked to gravity and mih has complete control over both)
I've always interpreted Star Platinum description in part 6 as being the ultimate/most powerful Stand in raw strength (the strength of his punches and kicks are unrivaled by any other Stand). It doesn't mean he has the best Stand ability that can't be countered by anyone (the last arc of Stone Ocean clearly depicts that it's not the case).

It probably could.
it could but if its inf speed it will be a loop
bassicly a walking uno reverse card
I took the death loop as he gave him so much life he can never die
I was waiting for this
I will always defend this position. Diavolo did not deserve infite suffering. Nobody does. Not even Hitler or any other person. Sure they deserve to suffer for quite a while, but infinite is never ever deserved.

But he sold drugs to KIDS !!
8:53 Common misinterpretation, he pokes a pebble. He POKED a pebble so hard he blew off a side of a building.
GER like lovecarftian Elder God - he just not subject to laws of this univerce.
diavolo: giorno I just sold drugs and killed some people, please let me out.
giorno: N O.
giorNO
Whats worst than dying, dying infinite times.
Then that would make Diavolo is a 5th dimensional threat just on the lowerball and ger standing out of that would make him a 6th dimension threat severely lowballing. huh did not realize that
give this man a pin
Soft and wet go beyond can beat GER
GER just resets josuke before he can even activate his stand.
@@lemur1129 go beyond doesnt need to be activated, it just appear
GER is like those dreams where your punches are weak for some reason
Ong
If we take all of JoJo (manga/anime/games ect) into account then we know the only thing that can even challenge ger is the power to re write reality witch is just absolutely absurd :|
Bro it's not absurd there's like 20 char that can outmatched twoh reality manipulation
@@source324 yeah but not in jojo
@@mangolian3773 ye but imagine if part 9 have req user's
Actually, TWOH can easily shrug off GER's attacks
@@salmolin yeah because TWOH ability is literally rewrite reality
Would you be interested in doing a video on Cream, because pretty much no one talks about it?
so basically he's the epitome of "because i said so"
One question how powerful can a requiem stand be...
Yes.
To define that, we would have to group every single Stand in the Jojo Multiverse (this includes Wonder of U) and scale that. If GER is anything to go off of, most, if not all, Requiem Stands, would be able to beat the Jojo multiverse. Though it depends, really.
@@gobblegum2570 so if kc was fighting ger and if kc have q requiem arrow and kc stab himself would he be more op than ger...
@@Johnny-hv7xc pretty much
@@Johnny-hv7xc this depends if diavolo wants to be stronger than ger , since the requiem arrow grants what you desire the most , let's say jotaro wanted to be as fast as mih and used the requiem arrow , he would become as fast as mih .
While they might not be detected while traveling to Giorno, the moment they hit GER will activate as Giorno has been injured.
This would be a good argument if soft and wet was fast enough to hit GER
@@mortsartstudio9403 it does both. Diavolos will and his attack was reverted
Tusk: “what the hell? I can never miss!”
GER: “That’s not true, you miss 100% of the shots you don’t take.”
I just love this comment
Tusk beat him dont overrate Giorno
My headcannon is that the death loop is caused by him tripping from the huge energy injection from the ger punches he got
Not exactly tripping, but the energy being so high, such that Diavolo’s Consciousness has to pass through all possible ways that he could die, or basically the energy making his consciousness pass through all timelines that the universe would pass through while naturally resetting.
beats goku
surprised that no one replied to defend goku, it usually always happens to every comment like this
