Wayne Carson, Ozarks songwriter for many stars

Wayne Carson was an Ozarks based songwriter who, as of the late 1980's had one big hit. 'The Ticket", recorded by The Boxtops" and Joe Cocker.. He was still writing songs with friends when I caught up with him. He was later one of three songwriters of "Always on My Mind" written by Carson and two others and recorded by Elvis and Willie Nelson, voted 'Song of the Year' twice in the 1980's and won a Grammy. Carson died in July 2015.
