Dale id like to see a test of some of the “new” types of shoes like the vans that have that ice sole that are supposed to be stronger and shit like that but I guess those clear weathers are kind of like that. I remember one of my buddies used to go through shoes quick back in the day globe had some that had some crazy like plasticish shit where you flip and they lasted em a while. I never even busted laces much less wore through but maybe that’s because I sucked and wasn’t doing shit right but it was weird I could farm a lot of tricks really clean I just couldn’t stay over the board like I could flip a front side flip cleaner than my buddy but I would always land the one foot like a lame Larry

There's no way any shoe would last 8-9 months. He must skate like only every other Saturday or something to get that type of lifetime out of a pair of shoes. Either that or do nothing but ride around. I'm going through shoes in one month and can barely do much else but ollies, 180s and pop shovs. I _have_ to admit though that I do think some people have a more frictionless way of doing their flip tricks with shoes lasting longer. Ie. better timing? For example, if you're always a bit early on doing the drag of the kickflip, you're going to drag through the pop of the tail, which really creates maximum friction on your shoe and maximum wear. I truly believe that's the only way anyone chews through a pair of shoes in just 5 days to a week. There's no way a regular experienced skater couldn't do like a month with a pair of skate shoes. Most skate shoes are reinforced in typically the same way. I'd say destroying a pair of shoes that weren't meant for skating can be done in a handful of hours to like 5 days, so maybe that one dude just buys $10 regular shoes all the time? Probably not, probably it's the friction thing I talked about. Of course, most people know what the 100 kickflips durability tests do to any skate shoe, so there's definitely hard wear flipping boards.

Damn I've been skating my SB's for 6 months. They had a huge hole in the front and they're was a hole in the bottom. I skate my shoes until they're literally falling apart. I honestly thought that you go through shoes faster if ur bad at skating but it's the exact opposite 😂

I bought these clearweather shoes because of this video, and a month later they aren't holding up as well as my old nike sb pair did. More importantly, I hate the slip on style and find them way too loose. I'm retiring them now because they just don't skate as good as laced shoes.

Bring back vision dv8 and dv9 with lace savers. Best shoes ever nothing has come close in the 35 yrs skating i done. If Nike get hold of your company then say goodbye to a good solid shoe. Never liked vans they fall apart as cons also do.
