Discovering this channel has been a highlight of this low-light ridden lockdown era. Shoe reviews done right with an abundance of entertainment factor thrown in. The dunks are very durable... I purchased one pair of lows three years ago, I was skating them, wearing them a lot, used them in all conditions, I actually used them for climbing and they are not ripped or anything like that. They are still wearable today.

And a note on Jaws FP shoe is that they claim a very high impact protection, which seems to be a very high concern of yours, so just check em out, and very reasonably priced too, I think $76 or close

Have you reviewed ES at all.. That's pretty much all I skate because they're super affordable, they last a good while and they feel awesome.
Hey D3’s are my personal favorites. got a pair on sale.wear them with confidence, comfy, flick was there, no board chops to the foot either.

A better ranking scale would be 1 to 30 so you can group them (by tens) as not good, average, great and still have a 1-10 rank within those groups

Ave vans nice but I swapped the insoles to some better vans ones. Not great impact protection imo. Really dig the boys but toe box is real stocky so couldn't wear them cus next size up just to baggy around the foot. Really wish they still made the Shane.
Jaws just released his shoe from FootPrint in the US, so how can you not review it!!! Or an Etnies Marana, Busenitz Vulc ll, and or Westgate is releasing the 508 soon from NB#(and I LOVE the NB# lineup so...).
i think the busenitz vulc II is a good shoe but its uncomfortable to skate after a bit because the arch on the foot is high so its only good for flat footed people and i got a high arch so its a no go and the insoles are kind of booboo
@@thenightprowler3426 I hear ya, I love the shoe and have several of the first model as well, narrow foot w/medium arch, and the first few weeks I run w/the stock insole and then eventually switch up, then all my cupsoles are NB#, mainly the 533
@@grego9097 i mean the insoles fine as long as you arent doing high impact stuff but i mean i cant complain as its a vulcanized shoe, i would have swapped the stock insoles for vans popcush but theyre way too thick for the shoe itself might just buy some footprint insoles

Great idea to give the shoes a quantitative rating. I would suggest for your futur reviews to categorise your appreciation such as: Price, Durability, Style, Flick, etc. and give each of them a grade /10. You can then easily average all the grades to give a final appreciation /10.

K walk 1 is 100 times better then k walk 2. It’s like an 8
I did buy the SB Polar Trainer 1 for the looks. Love the shoe because if its ties back to BO Jackson and the first Cross Trainer.

I did like the eS Swift 1.5 but after a long day my feet hurt. But it is the best low top I have skated.
Just ordered some Airwalks, why not I was skating in the 80s and couldn't have them back then. But I can now.

Not gonna lie mine lasted me 5 months of good skating last year, no holes on the side just went trough the sole. That sickstick Technologie is weirdly better than normal gum outsole.
if u got the converse in a full size down u might like them more, but they are not a impact shoe

that Kyle walker 1 is beast. I still skate them today. skated some Nikes acouple months back. it held its own but compared to that walker 1 that shit is one of the best shoes made imo. awesome board feel n good impact support

All pro decks are pretty much the same, if you buy from a major brand that presses from ps Stix, bareback or dwindle brands, they all skate well. Just don't buy a pricepoint and you'll be good

I know I'm late but if you ever do a video like this again like an updated or new reviews only version or something I really suggest you do it as a tier list ranking. I think this kinda vid calls for more of a comparison between shoes rather than just a straight rating cuz if I wanna see a proper rating I'll just watch the actual review vid y'knowm sayin. You could put the shoes exactly where you want and explain why, like oh these shoes are better than this but not better than this one bc of x y and z. Also it'd be easier on you in editing if you prep graphics beforehand and just record the screen, and like when you finish up and see the final product at the end that would be very helpful overall. Great work though it's obvious you have the editing talent and dedication but I think that format would work better and help you out tremendously!

I skated with these laces that I think were from motorcycle riding shoes and they were like rubbery but also shoe lace material and they lasted pretty long compared to normal laces
