Southern Pecan Pie

- My boys said that this was the best Pecan Pie they had ever had!!
Pecan Pie
1 cup chopped pecans
1 c white sugar
1 1/2 Tbls Brown Sugar
1/2 c corn syrup
1/2 c dark syrup (karo)
1 tsp vanilla
1/3 c melted butter
3 eggs
1/2 tsp self rising flour
1 pie crust
put pecans in the pie crust. mix all other ingredients and pour over pecans and bake.
bake at 350° for 50 to 60 minutes

I LOVE pecan pie and I am sooo excited to try your recipe. My husband always liked the crust a little browner, so that first pie would have been his choice. He would have milk with his and I would have coffee. Isaac is absolutely adorable and I love that he loves his mama's pie. ❤

My mom is famous for her pecan pie...I can only handle a couple bites because it is so rich! Really enjoy your channel.
Pecan pie is my absolute favorite! I usually make mine with light corn syrup, but I think I'll try mixing the light and dark the way you did and see how different it tastes! As far as coffee or milk, just put milk in your coffee and you've got the best of both worlds! LOL (I like both, but I really like a good cup of strong coffee with my dessert). Love pecan pie, especially with some chocolate melted in with the butter. Like Coke to drink with my pie and whipped cream on top of my pie. Chocolate pecan pie with whipped cream and Coke to drink spells heaven for me. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.

That’s exactly how my aunt always made them 1/2 and 1/2 on the syrups and she always added sr flour too. Small world 😋

I made my first homemade pecan this Thanksgiving and I am 64 years old. I used th ed pioneer woman's recipe, because I didn't have any dark karo syrup ( I watch Tammy too). It turned out pretty good if I do say so myself

GREAT!!! recipe. Thank you. It was actually the first pie i had ever attempted to make simply because you made it looked so simple and I love pecan pie. Honestly, it was the best pecan pie I had ever had and I'm 52 years old. I made 4 for this past Christmas and gave family members whole ones and they called and told me the same thing. Now I will literally be making these I'm sure every couple of months. They are that delicious and easy. Thank you for the tips from Tammy also. 👍❤❤❤
