I never realized it until I stopped watching Shane but Shane himself relies on the people around him. I watched Shane for a long time and I've always enjoyed his friends more than himself. There is no question that Jeffree is only going off of what his videos are doing. TH-cam is doing fine. honestly in the US disney plus is so bad!!!! unless ur an actual disney fan there’s no use for it. i keep it for star wars, but i rarely watch disney movies and i don’t like marvel. so besides when i’m babysitting i rarely use it. disney owns hulu so all the “cool” non-disney content other countries have on disney+ like the kardashians we don’t get. we have to pay for hulu. or we can get a bundle deal for disney, hulu, and ESPN (sports). to me the best streaming service for the US is HBO max. it has most of cartoon network’s shows, most DC content, cult classic films, the sopranos, we get to stream new warner bros films after they’re gone from theatres, etc. idk it’s just the best

But people aren’t watching the make up videos like they were pre-pandemic. 2020-2022 really changed a lot of peoples mindsets and they’re focused more on vlogs and educational videos.. whether that’s traditional education, current events, information pertaining to minority groups and social in/justice, or learning about drama stuff. My TH-cam subscription feed was 95% makeup pre-pandemic. Now it’s maybe 10% makeup. Our priorities have shifted. Also. To be super catty. Jeffree is like the pick me of Wyoming. It’s a historically red (Republican) state. The Wyoming state government makes decisions that do the opposite of benefit Jeffree as a human.
I really have no patience for tiktok. It's okay for baby zoomers but I love long form content that I can watch/listen at work or while walking, just anytime I don't have to actually look at the screen. Tiktok is all visuals which is OK if that's what you need but I'm craving substance and nuance.

Personally TH-cam is my life, I pay for TH-cam Premium and I definitely get my money's with from it. No I don't watch the same content I used to, and things on TH-cam have changed. But I've also learned to migrate and find new content I enjoy. The good content is out there, it's just a bit harder to find it.

I never subscribe to lot of platforms all at once. I can't find anything to watch or in most platforms i have to wait for good series to end, cause I like watching a full series at once. I just subscribe one platform each month, watch whatever I want to watch and move on to a different platform next month.
I like TH-cam because I can walk away and work on things at home while enjoying the content and supporting the channel. I might be an old fuddy but I actively seek out new TH-camrs who are up and coming and I get to see the new spin on humour while not being glued to my phone or computer.
I only watch youtube, because I love the creative content and the fact i can find videos catered to my interest. i can watch videos about all my favorite games like Animal Crossing and Sims 4. I can watch videos by queer and POC content creators and hear their opinions unchanged by production interference. I can hear people I have grown to really care about talk about their lives, silly things like going to the grocery store or if their kid got a cold. I actually relate to these things and value them more than any streaming service I have paid for in the past

Off topic, You mentioned that you only have Netflix and Disney+, I prefer Hulu and Netflix over Disney+ but I have Disney with my Hulu subscription bundle. I love that they say TH-cam is dying because THEIR stale content is no longer interesting to people. Even when Shane had an interview with Graveyard Girl saying she could fix her channel “the only way to survive is to make new content that IS trending”

I actually love them for entertainment. So why are you dishing them? Do you and your followers have nothing to do then try to be cute and smile? At least they do go to places that does scare them and at least they are truly entertaining. In my opinion your not. So in response what have you done?
jeffree only cares about the paying fans, those who only watch youtube and can’t affort netflix and hulu can’t afford his makeup either, so naturally he doesn’t regard them as important

I never subscribe to lot of platforms all at once. I can't find anything to watch or in most platforms i have to wait for good series to end, cause I like watching a full series at once. I just subscribe one platform each month, watch whatever I want to watch and move on to a different platform next month.
I like TH-cam because I can walk away and work on things at home while enjoying the content and supporting the channel. I might be an old fuddy but I actively seek out new TH-camrs who are up and coming and I get to see the new spin on humour while not being glued to my phone or computer.

I only watch youtube, because I love the creative content and the fact i can find videos catered to my interest. i can watch videos about all my favorite games like Animal Crossing and Sims 4. I can watch videos by queer and POC content creators and hear their opinions unchanged by production interference. I can hear people I have grown to really care about talk about their lives, silly things like going to the grocery store or if their kid got a cold. I actually relate to these things and value them more than any streaming service I have paid for in the past

Off topic, You mentioned that you only have Netflix and Disney+, I prefer Hulu and Netflix over Disney+ but I have Disney with my Hulu subscription bundle. And even with those three subscriptions, I still find myself on TH-cam a lot.
There are unnecessary streaming services out there but Jeffree and Shane saying that everyone left TH-cam for streaming services was so ironic because I remember when they were the kings of TH-cam. Like I’d be excited after school because I knew I’d have something to watch from them two. It’s so funny to watch them come up with an excuse as to why no one watches them anymore. Blaming streaming services?? Really now🤣🤣

I watch TH-cam everyday. I watch TH-cam more than I do anything else.
Like I haven’t watched the “”series”” so idk if Jeffree was just talking about beauty TH-cam or TH-cam in general, it’s not specified anywhere I’ve seen so assuming it’s the latter…that’s ridiculous. I heard him say Longform content isn’t in anymore? There are 3+ hour videos with millions of views lmao, Jenny Nicholson literally just put out a 4 HOUR video on a theme park no one has ever heard of and it’s already at almost 2m views
TH-cam is my number 1 used platform. I love old gaming series that I watch every year
Sometimes we point at others or other things for the cause of the problem but never look at ourselves and realize how our own actions are the reason the problems are there to begin with. I feel like that's how Jeffrey is and if he does mention he's the problem it just comes out as condescending, not genuinely realizing and be able to change it.

I was hoping when he decided to do Jeffery it would be like a life on the ranch doc... And I also was rooting for Shane to grow up he's my age like... Why are you still talking like 2009 lol anytime he's chiming in and it's not all on him he seems better but when he's full attention on camera he's annoying as hell... Jeffrey seems to still have quirks but at least you can see a change in him.
