Yes, but trimming is a very calming process, it's good to do it after a hard day's work. That's why I started aquascaping in the first place, many years ago. It's therapy.

Nice, tanks look amazing. When you kept hitting the light I thought it be fun to see a blooper video lol you should consider putting one together with that kind of stuff.
Great job with the maintenance. Looking at the contest tank in my opinion, it is very busy and it needs more space, there is not really a defined focal or end point. The eye wonders too much and it needs more flow. The left side seems to have artificial divisions. Possibly under the main branch some more space, even beyond the tree itself would look better. IMHO of course! Thank-you for sharing and showing us these wonderful creations.
Oooh another work shop :). this vid was very inspirational, its inspired me to think of how I can better my tanks :) I like the crypt I have in the front but its large and overgrown, I also don't want to remove it. And after just few hours I hear the same idea from you :) It helps me to feel better if I see my methods I found are working for you aswel! Looking forward for my next maintanance. I just need to get better hoses (to be able to regulate outflow). I think you also use some system which has some type of preasure mechanism, which starts to suck out water somehow automaticaly.
