I really enjoy the way how you explain what and why you're doing during the maintenance. It gives a much better understanding of your goal for the tank and allows us to really learn something
You guys are truly fantastic. Especially, Balazs, wonderful presenting style. You have trimmed away the overgrowth to uncover a beautiful hobby. Until stumbling across your channel I wouldn't have known about, or appreciated the beautiful world of Aquascaping. Thank you.

Hi Balazs, great video today, showing how much work goes into maintaining such a wonderful scape, lots of top tips as always. Good to know that it's not only us amateurs who get algi problems. Great job, great video, top quality. Thank you.
What a stunning vid again. This maintenance session and trying to get it as it's supposed to be really amazed me, why is my tank always naaaah it's gonna be ok in a week after trimming. You made it maybe better than the original. The hands of a true master touched this piece of art and brought it back to life. This is Majorleague Maintenance , Ush .
I love how Josh sneaked in the news that Fukada is coming. After this tank I'm really looking forward to that one as well. Oh and I had another idea for you guys to maybe consider. A lot of hobbyists have to work with a limited set of hardscape at home. So what if you do a series in which you have the famous aquascapers use the exact same materials to design a hardscape. I would be very curious to see what different scapes they come up with using the same materials. Don't offer them too much, make it hard on them ;)
It's common knowledge man. :) You guys never read the descriptions, do you? We always post all upcoming events there. Among other important info. Like Juan Puchades is also coming soon. Exciting times ahead. I'm not gonna limit them with hardscape, but we're gonna limit them with time. You'll see a video on it soon. Hardscape should not be limited for anybody. That is something that will be at the basis of the scape, everybody should get enough of it.
@@GreenAquaShop haha nope, never read those, sorry :) Looking forward to it. And I agree it should be available for everyone, but prices vary quite a bit and simply not everyone has a lot of cash to burn on soil, stones and wood. The average tanks in your videos would cost a fortune to build over here with all the ADA materials and nice rocks and wood going in. I can afford it personally but I can see how not everyone could.
Well Jasper, that is probably my biggest problem in life. I really don't want to speak to everybody. I would only want to speak to those who want to do better, to build something beautiful without compromises, to concentrate on the goal instead of the obstacles. I'm already not very popular with people who think money is important. I stand with that with pride.
In my opinion you guys should add a small light to the back of the tank where the end point is, it would direct the viewers eye there more. Just wat i think, love watching you guys. You are the reason I got into aquascaping.
Hello Green Aqua team. You never fail to amaze your subscribers. Another great before and after video. Your videos have been a great source of info in helping me maintain my personal aquarium for which I thank you. Would love to see a saltwater aquarium with beautiful corals in your location showroom in the near future.
Thanks for watching Donald, thanks for the nice comment. Glad your tanks progresses well! About the reef tanks - we might do some projects in the future, but it's not our main topics. I kinda like the changes that come with the planted tanks. I like how stabile they are in comparison to saltwater tanks. The fish in those are wonderful, but I don't really like that there's not much changing in them from week to week. Again, this is a personal opinion. And we might still do something in the future.
I love videos like this cause it shows the amount of work it takes to upkeep these tanks. I know mine are miniature & low tech when it comes to Green Aqua's but work and love gets put into them. Well done and I would love to see more of these styles of videos.

Well done Balasz, it looks beautiful, fresh and well maintained again. Thanks for sharing it with us! For me personally this tank really stands out, so many details in there! For now however no time to do so, we're doing a bit of a renovation at home, but when that's done it's time for rescape 😇😋 There's just one thing... Really nice work ! That light you use at the back during trimming adds a lot of depth (and looks like the original Congo picture) you could maybe use a light back ground or a white surface to accentuate the focal point! That tank look amazing, last think for me to add in this tank is the small vertical vines falling from the trees present in the original Congo layout and adding some verticality to the forest. As it is, it look a bit wide. That is just personal though of course. Thank you for amazing content !
You're right with both suggestions, we already added the white background since completing the video, the latest picture on our social media pages shows that. For the vines falling... Yeah, I know the problem, but just couldn't do it with what we have - no matter how hard I tried, need to dig up some more red moor branches, but they're never straight enough, and don't have anything else here. Any wood type suggestions?
Green Aqua , I will go and check that picture straight away :) I bought some vines. They was no name on it but look like selected asia roots. Looks really nice but make the maintenance a bit hazardous. Looking forward to see how this tank will evolve ! Regards

I love this video. I really appreciate all the videos your team puts together that goes over maintenance. Thanks for the feedback, the tea review is not a bad idea indeed. Haha. Yeah, that preparation is something that I always do, except I never showed it to you.
Potamogeton gayi moja ulubiona roślinka ... Jest mega piękna i mega ekspansywna ... Ogólnie to lubię baniaki mega zarośnięte , takie dzikie 😉 pozdrawiam
The water is clear for many reasons. Multiple big water changes, Seachem purigen in the filter, sometimes ADA clear water, strong filtration. No, you can't really do that in saltwater. Cheers Luis.
I'm watching videos of you since yesterday night🙃. Loving them. I'm in process of getting big tank so was looking about them and somehow ended up here. So far really loving... except.. music. It's so good that I keep zoning out🤦♀️. It will be good if volume is little lower. I can live with water running sound as background as tank looks awesome. Thanks for inspiring
Cheers, thanks for watching the videos like that. That is very supportive for our channel. About the production - well, they were made to work one-by-one, for 15 minutes each. I do understand that it is too much if you watch them one after the other. It's like watching music videos for hours, you can get really tired by the flashy editing and different styles of music. This is intended to be a mainly entertaining and educating fast-paced youtube channel, not a zen style channel - although we have one video with the two Green Aqua ladies in which they don't speak much, there's only gentle zen music under it. And guess what, some people have immediately said that it would have been better with narration, and they don't watch it as long as people usually would - so hard to satisfy everybody. Okey, so I'm not trying to, I just do what I like, and I like this. Haha. Again, thanks for the support, good luck with your tank.
During the setup of the tank, Josh did not use any Amazonia at the front but merely just sand. I can see the grass are growing well there. So the power sand / Amazonia is not necessary right at the bottom of the plants? Second question, there is a significant slope of of the sand and soil and did they slide down based on your observation? I have seen couple of aquascapers use some stoppers for the purpose.
Plants will run into the sand, but if you want a nice carpet, you should definitely have some clay-based soil in there. Yeah, you should do stoppers (terraces as I call them).
I’m just about to buy my first big (300l) tank and your videos are really helpful for people like me, who don’t have much experience yet, but want some knowledge and have fun! Thanks guys 🌱
Got an idea for a fun video, one person places the soil, one person places the stone, one person places the driftwood, one person does the planting, and one person does the finishing touches (sand, moss etc.). And done in a way so others they are doing their small part solo without input from others... then see how much it can change shape from another’s direction.
What do you use for the water changes/plant suction. Do you use some kind of pump/filter to provide the suction. At the moment I use a hose and siphon it out the window and a hose from the tap to fill. Trying to find a better way
Quality is absolutely insane. This is the best and highest quality under water world channel on the internet. 🙆♂️😮
Thanks so much for the kind comment, glad you appreciate the production effort we put into this!
For quality and fast growth do u put liquid fertilizer or else in water.....!!
@@arvinthemindfreak of course they do. In most tanks probably. This is high tech, high light, overfiltration, CO2 injection, and fertilizer dosing.

You asked me to looked out. Amazing work here
Thanks glad you like the end result.
Green Aqua I always stop whatever I’m doing to watch your video. You are doing god’s work for aquascaping community. I wish one day I’m able to visit green aqua the temple of aquascaping
Cheers, thanks for taking that break from you work! You're welcome here any time!
Great video 😁👍🙋
Glad you like it! Cheers Beata!
Maybe you should release a "Green Aqua - Green Tee-Editon" or a teacup with a print that says "Geen-Aqua inside" ;)
Very nice video and a great idea that you showed on your Monitor what your main points are you want to work on and why!
Thanks for the feedback, the tea review is not a bad idea indeed. Haha. Yeah, that preparation is something that I always do, except I never showed it to you.
Lindo de mais, passaria o dia todo olhando para uma obra tão perfeito, parabéns
Come and visit us Ricardo. You can do it.
And this gorgeous tank looks Perfect again. Amazing job, thanks for sharing 😍👌👌👍👍
Thanks for watching - as always! Glad you like the transformation. Cheers!
Potamogeton gayi moja ulubiona roślinka ... Jest mega piękna i mega ekspansywna ... Ogólnie to lubię baniaki mega zarośnięte , takie dzikie 😉 pozdrawiam
Yeah, a wild plant! Haha.
Nice big tank maintenance
Cheers Ricky, thanks!
Love it....
how do you get the water so clear, and can whatever you use could it be used in a saltwater tank?
Thank you
The water is clear for many reasons. Multiple big water changes, Seachem purigen in the filter, sometimes ADA clear water, strong filtration. No, you can't really do that in saltwater. Cheers Luis.
Woooowww...plus subtitle indonesia👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😍😍😍😍😍😘😘😘😘
Yepp, we translated automatically almost all videos to your language too. Enjoy.
J'adore votre chaine, continuez comme ça !!!
Thanks for the support Steph! Cheers!
Nice cleanup Balázs 🙌
It must have been a difficult one. The two clean path gave it a lot in terms of depth. Definitely closer to congo now 👍
Cheers, my back muscles were tired for two days after it haha.
Looks awesome. Love it 😍
Cheers, glad you like the end result, it is a great tank - very natural, Josh is a fantastic scaper.
Very nice video. All beautiful. I wish you good luck, my friend.
Thanks man, have a good day!
Great work. It almost came back to its original state. Was there any reason why you didn't try to recover that second focal point on the left...
There was no intended focal point on the left, Josh said every tank should have only one focal point and he closed it deliberately in his setup video.
@@GreenAquaShop Thank you for the clarification. That Master class of Josh was so insightful ...
Yeah! Thanks for watching!
Nice Work.
Cheers, thanks for watching man!
Finally Balazs ....😊😊
Haha, glad you liked the video!
Great work!
Thanks! Cheers!
This tank is beautiful 👍👌😍
It is, Josh did a great job - but he is one of the bests in the world, so no wonder.
This is beautiful. I’ve never heard of aqua scraping….where is the filtering system?
This might be a bit late, but the filtering system is hidden under the shelf, try searching about aquarium external filter.
Like your Video! And a happy new Year!😊
Cheers, thanks for the comment Jette, Happy New Year for you too!
@@GreenAquaShop Thank you for the good wiches!
👍🏻
It's Amazing !😍 What is this Moss do toi use? Thanks for your great vidéo.😊
Green Aqua became a reference point for me.
That is so cool to read! Thanks for the support Sanyi!
So beautiful tank .
Yeah, Josh's talent is indisputable!
You're welcome and thanks so much for the kind words, good luck with your new big tank!
If i understand, we will see a masterclass with FUKADA soon? is it true? Josh Sim, Fukada....!!!! soooo gooddd!!! i can't wiating for!!!!!
Yes, it's absolutely true. Stay Tubed. Details in the descriptions of our new videos!
Stunning 😉
Cheers, thanks for watching, glad you like it!
@@GreenAquaShop Would love to visit Green Aqua Gallery.
You're welcome any time! Hope you'll make it!
Stay strong 💪 Balazs! 🙂
Haha, will do, cheers!
A video with my favorite tank in the green aqua gallery
Yess! Glad you enjoyed it.
Got an idea for a fun video, one person places the soil, one person places the stone, one person places the driftwood, one person does the planting, and one person does the finishing touches (sand, moss etc.). And done in a way so others they are doing their small part solo without input from others... then see how much it can change shape from another’s direction.
Not a bad idea indeed, thanks for that! Cheers!
What is that moss on the wood called ? And the silver collered fish with some other collors ?
Tank looks amazing.
All details in the description - as always. Cheers.
What do you use for the water changes/plant suction. Do you use some kind of pump/filter to provide the suction. At the moment I use a hose and siphon it out the window and a hose from the tap to fill. Trying to find a better way
