      Bingo! That is essentially at the core of every single one of the so-called New Rich! Don't forget to document the journey and yourself along the way, that way you can "build in public" which is a grand way of attracting an audience.

  • @thelifewithnate
    @thelifewithnate 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

    An interesting analysis of the New Rich! You name-dropped Naval, a couple of others in the same ecosystem would be Dan Koe, Hamza, and some others. I think one of the biggest obstacles that you see is through the proliferation of results such as "X number of dollars made after 4 months" or similar type of videos.
    A lot of folks fail to realize that people put in years of silent effort in the background and years of failing when it came to certain things for their current projects to work. I struggle with that right now for this TH-cam channel and other creative projects in the background.
    Cheers, Andrew!

    the three people on the thumbnail atleast gained riches mainly through selling courses on how to become successful like them...by selling courses
    the courses themselves are vague and primarily focused around self-motivation and are as useless as youd expect

    • @thelifewithnate
      @thelifewithnate 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Ah, that seems to be the game overall. Build a large audience, sell a course, and be rich. But at the end of the day, there has to be some creators out there that actually do provide value through their courses hopefully. Have you tried some of their courses? I've been eyeing a couple but have been weary about it.

    • @DavidK-wg8wz
      @DavidK-wg8wz 11 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@thelifewithnateThat is indeed the game. The world is full of people looking to make an easy buck and what better way to make that than selling useless guides on how to make an easy buck?
      I have not purchased any of these courses because by all accounts they are terrible. It's like why go into it if you know youre gonna get fucked in the ass yknow? But you have to do your own research, there are various discussion forums out there about people who have actually bought these courses and independently review them. And every single one of these courses are known to be extremely broad, non-specific, and does not provide much insight into whatever it is they are trying to educate.
      Any educational resource that is not accredited, evaluated through peer review, you are basically casting a die and the chances of you learning much reduces to near zero.
      The online world is too vast and the bar for entry is too low, that is why anyone with a smidge of confidence but without any skills to back it up can proclaim to be a master. I really would not recommend taking any courses on the internet that isn't accredited.

    The idea of being this "character with an extreme" is really interesting to me and it makes a lot of sense! I can see how it can relate to fulfilling the demand of people who are maybe looking for someone they can relate to or could enjoy watching. Is this demand similar to the demand being filled by authenticity? Instead of creating unique characters through personality, does authenticity create uniqueness through having different hobbies, interests, or skills? Even if it does create uniqueness in your character, how do you still provide value to a broader audience when these interests have a small to none "transformation" phase? Or am I just misunderstanding the entire point-
    I apologize if the wording doesn't make sense. Takes a lot of energy for me to try and deeply understand a lesson.

      @@AndrewKirbys Whoever you are, I don't know you personally but I can say that you're one of the non-judgmental and open-minded people who is not fixated on tangible or external factors in order to learn from someone like me. Just because someone doesn't have a piece of paper as a credential, doesn't mean that person is not entitled to share personal experiences with the hope & intention to inspire others. Keep up with whatever it is that you're doing to improve mankind or improving your life even to a slight degree each day. This is just one part of a bigger puzzle for creating my TH-cam channel about holistic health. I literally could have died back when I was 14 years old due to major depression but here I am right now replying to you, a TH-camr, who's full of fulfillment and dedication to help others to be a better version of themselves. I ain't better than anyone else but my old self. That's all that really makes this TH-cam thing more meaningful and enjoyable. Thanks so much for your support! So, building a community around a hobby or interest using social media or newsletter marketing and then transforming it into an independent source of income. That is a tough one! I'm documenting that right now slowly through another creative project that I spent a year on with building a community. Truth be told, I have not monetized yet except through some comped tickets at events that I attend.
