I really love your detailed analysis of this masterpiece! I was even 23 when they released their debut album and was blasted away. When i heard - 1 or 2 years ago - that they are about to bring out a new album, i got excited like a little kid. Now, being a 47 year old fart, I got my fresh Vinyl here and listen to it nearly every day. Stay brutal!
Nice review Melanie. Definitely the cleanest production they’ve ever had, for better or worse depending on who you ask lol. Festival of Death will probably always be my favorite, but I’m really liking this new one, and I’m sure it will grow on me the more spins I give it. 🤘
Of all the reviews so far done here… this one pretty much is one to one on everything I would have said about this album… top notch BDM that set a new standard going forward. Been loving every minute of this release, well worth the long wait. Great review!
I love the sinister feel of the riffs and overall feel of the album. The atmosphere as well… it’s atypical for a band in this style. Thanks for watching!
The overall lyrical concept along with the cool cover art, the production, the tight half hour runtime and the actual music are the pros of this album for me. 🤘 The cons of the album? I really only have one slightly negative thing to say; the vocals are too monotonous and unintelligible in the long run for my tastes, but it never gets so annoying, that I can't enjoy the many other cool aspects of the album. Melanie is probably more of a BDM fan than me, but this is still a solid 3,5/4 out of 5 album for me.. 🤗 As always, great review, Melanie.. 👍

Melanie killed it as always. This is actually my first time hearing the band and I think I need a deeper investigation. Thanks for watching!
