    Somebody told me that they felt that this was a step backwards in chest rigs but honestly the simple design and ability to add a few pouches on the side is all you really need in a chest rig.
    People have been brainwashed by thinking they need speed reloads and quick reindexing of magazines and multiple velcro pouches that don't hold enough of what you need....

    • @DevDog67
      @DevDog67 ปีที่แล้ว +19

      Speed reloads from a chest rig or plate carrier are just weird. I was taught that if you want to speed reload you use the pouches on your belt.
      To me using the belt makes far more sense, put your fancy esstac or taco pouches down there and use those. Refill them from your chest rig when you use off of the belt.

    The SIMP design is from ‘90s era fanny pack. I used to jog with them because they tucked into the torso closely.

    The black lining is supposedly to last long from abrasion of some sort. Idk how it works but it’s out there.
    Edit: Apparently it’s suppose to be weatherproof.

      @2crakd ปีที่แล้ว

      @@Ty-sq7yi I like the H for long duration missions. Like patrols and such. Especially when you're bogged down with gear, it helps to dissipate the weight more evenly. Why I enjoy coupling my rigs to a pack of sort.

    • @Carmoflage
      @Carmoflage ปีที่แล้ว +2

      I got small shoulders and HATE H-Harnesses, they tend do slide down on one shoulder or the other, because the web that forms the middle part of the "H" is to wide and not adjustable.
      Never had this issue with X harnesses.

    • @Ty-sq7yi
      @Ty-sq7yi ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@Carmoflage I prefer the X-harness because I can adjust the height of the rig a lot better than an H-harness. H-harnesses never have enough adjustment for ride height.

    I dont understand only having 2 columns of molle on the sides. It kills this rig for me, most GP pouches require at least 3 columns, if not 4, so this seems likea huge miss to not just add 1 more column

    • @EODFish
      @EODFish  ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Plenty of utility pouches are available as a two column and almost all radios are two column. With 4 mag pouches it’s starting out wider than most of the market.
