    We want a subsecond belt overview!

    I'm still wondering what was the intent for this or what niche of usage/usager ,is this intended for...what is this supposed to achieve? At this point in time, without that precise explanation - this is just another way to reinvent the wheel of something along the lines of "we also have a belt offering" in this already saturated market

      This is all I care about.... did it work for the guy who wanted it made?

      @@ironteacup2569 well that is exactly what I don't care about (but you are in your right to do you )...because it seems to be so "niche" that ,personally, I surely have no need for that,not for the specificity of my job....and I suspect that the general public has just about the same "need" as me.....I'm not in the business of emulating things that are of no use to my job just because "...it work for the guy who wanted it..."

    1.5" onewrap is real! I've seen up to 6" wide iirc--could also always buy 2" or something similar and cut it down

    I still don’t see what extra value this could offer over just buying a second belt. It’s not that much less expensive but looks like it comes with some pretty significant design flaws.

      Same thought. AXL Eclipse belts are a paltry $116 still, that would be $240 for two cutting edge weightless belts vs a single $295 one that does everything worse (besides NIR.. maybe?)

    I really like the idea of a quick change belt system, for example LEO patrol to SWAT loads which can be very different.
    This just seems like it needs a second generation to work out the issues.

    • @BabaNovac792
      @BabaNovac792 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      I guess you are not in any of those who you mentioned then...we don't usually need that much "quick change system" ;We all know our places and rolls, once the belt is setup ,the only changes that occur are minor and not really in need for a "quick..." type of change

      @@BabaNovac792 What's this "we" speaking for every department in the US? There are a ton of SWAT or other specialty teams staffed primarily by patrol officers or deputies that can and do respond out of their normal patrol operations. Depending on role and assignment loads can vary wildly.
      I only know because I speak from direct experience in my area. I'm sure it's different where you work, but it's not all the same.

      Yeah, this doesn't seem like an entirely bad idea. I like the idea of being able to slide the cage off, set up my pouches as needed and then slide it onto the belt. Whenever I mess with belts, I always find myself trying to thread pouches onto the PALS and then the excess material of the belt is in the way and the buckle is swinging around. The cage being somewhat rigid seems like it would help with this and then it just slides right onto the belt itself. I'm not sure the seemingly large off-set and loops of the cage itself are doing it any favors though - hot spot city. It doesn't really seem like it needs so many loops and couldn't the cage itself attach with maybe a loop on either end, maybe one in the middle and then hook/loop to anchor it to the belt? I don't know, concept seems half-baked.

      @@t00005 fair point - "we" as in the team I'm in....simply put, the main kit is on the plate carrier, the rest is on the belt, apart some specific materials, nothing changed in what is carried trough the team since about 10 years. I never worked on my own in a way that, what I have on my belt, could need to be changed just because there is a difference in what I need to carry for different interventions - hence team work - specific rolls

      Honestly if I had to change loads I would have a separate belt for that, might be faster too
