    I'm painting a lot of florals, too.
    Jaune Brilliant No. 2 is a lovely peachy color. 😊
    It reminds me a bit of some vintage prints that I saw online. The floral prints with a background that is about the same color. It makes me happy to look at this color.
    I like pretty things 😊

    Irit - I love this! I’m making a garden journal that is a combo of mediums but mostly watercolor. I love this series you’re doing and the loose flowing florals. It inspires me. Plus I always love your colors. 💕

    I love this series that you are doing. The last couple of days I have been swatching out all of my watercolors and organizing the ones I use most into their own palette. It has helped me to really get to know each individual paint and what it does and doesn't do. I have a tendency to buy the same colors over and over again and I am hoping that this will stop that. lol I have also been inspired to paint loose florals, thank you very much. 😊

    I love your peach, pink floral with grey. I struggle with adding pen and pencil lines to paintings that I like. Sometimes I will sketch a quick floral or portrait in pen to paint. I feel very brave when I do this.😂
    I agree on the “pretty “ factor. Love my art space and art supplies to be pretty and not sure what this is about. Love Rose gold too. It’s relaxing to paint with colors that I love. I’m using pastel and transparent watercolor together and loving this. Thanks for sharing this idea. The situation in the states are increasingly difficult with corona virus and the occupant in White House. Art is essential. Thank you for being an essential artist/ healer for me since last February.💕

      Haha I know that brave feeling! It's addictive :) I'm sorry so many parts of the world are struggling now, many because of goverments incompetence. So frustrating... Take care!!

    Love your flower!! I recently bought Holbein artist watercolors in Jaune Brilliant no.1 (W231) and no.2 (W232) and love them both!! Also the Raphael rose gold travel brush in quill and I’m enjoying it too:):) I struggle with the randomness or unevenness of making flowers if that makes any sense at all lol I love how your flower is very free looking and not even so when you added the layers of pen to add details it looks so nice then and abstractie 😉 I’m just not good with abstract YET 😜🙃 thanks for sharing

    I’ve always heard this color called wand rhymes with pond. I love how relaxed and free your pages are looking😍 Yes I’m playing alone this month but with my own rules. There’s no way I could do one a day🤣

      Yea I'm waiting to see when I skip a day... Let's hope I can stick with it! Also as long as we're painting and having fun, that's all that matters!

    So Juane Brilliant is more of a peachy version of Naples yellow? Or are they completely different from one another?

    • @annepercival7814
      @annepercival7814 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Definitely more opaque than Naples yellow

    • @iritlandgraf
      @iritlandgraf  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      They are similar in that they are both opaque light pastelly colors. Jaune brilliant #2, at least this version, is just orange pigment mixed with white. It's a nice colors, can't say it's a must for me.

    Hi Irit, thanks a lot for sharing! I allready ordered the sword brush you are using! What is the pen you are using in this video. It looks as if you don't have to load it. Thanks again and lots of love 💞

    • @iritlandgraf
      @iritlandgraf  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      It's the platinum carbon fountain pen. I just use the platinum carbon refills, but you can buy an adaptor and use any ink :)
