Dude, I love the bike. I got mine a month ago in blue as well. I just finished getting it all set up for my first motorcycle camp trip to Heber off some forest roads. What a beautiful day! Thanks for uploading this! subbed! how did the bike handle out there?
@@The_MotoRebel that’s awesome, yeah I’m loving this machine! Off-road it’s extremely capable and once it’s moving feels very nimble for this sized bike. I will burn about 2000 miles on these stock tires then go to something much more aggressive for some heavier off-road rides coming up and weekly motocamping stuff I have planned. Subscribed to your channel, post up some T7 videos !! Feel free to hit me up if you’re in the area, for any ridding area suggestions if I can help, plus I’m always down to ride …..
@@Adventure_Ready_Life I am planning on posting videos for sure I can’t wait! I love to edit.. thanks for subscribing dude!!! Yeah for sure man I’ll hit you up sometime I’m sure! 🤙
@@The_MotoRebel I gotta spend some time learning to edit, I had 4 TH-cam channels for awhile so I just shoot from the hip and post up with no edit like a massive run on sentence! 😂 Looking forward to your videos
@@LOMROB I was pretty much set on buying the tenere 700, coming off my favorite bike the ktm 690 Enduro I came into some unexpected health issues causing neuropathy in my legs and more so in my hands and sometimes developing complete numbness while riding, so the ktm 690 even though my favorite adv/dual sport beast mode trail terrorizer I needed something more tame to control myself and riding style. The bigger liter adv bikes would be amazing for slab but I still wanted a dirt bike feel and off-road capabilities without too much compromise. Adv bike wise I’ve owned, ktm 690, bmw 800gs, bmw 800gsa, ktm 1290, older days drz 400, and worked for and ridden bmw GSA 1200’s and triumphs etc. Most of my life I raced motocross in southern California and ran dual sports in San Bernardino mtns so I have that racer in my blood still just health ailments slowing my roll a bit these days ….
Thank you for response and information. I intend to get into adv style riding. This info. Was very helpful. Current Harley rider and I used to ride motocross.
@@LOMROB if it weren’t for unexpected health issues I’d probably be running my ktm 690 enduro still fkr trails and aggressive off road and possibly a Honda Africa twin for the larger displacement motor and still Japanese reliability for the motocamping and commuting stuff. For now it’s the tenere for most everything and building a YZ 250 two stroke for short aggressive off-road riding days until my hands can’t take any more 😂
@@thodoris3790 I really do like this bike. I have a handful of aftermarket items coming this week, so I will update some upgrades as I get time to get out in my shop soon ….
@@biblejohn4681 yeah back in the good old days I would just own 12 bikes at a time, one for each type of riding, 4 race bike for motocross two per class etc plus bikes for the kids now a days trying to cover a few desired areas of riding with only a couple bikes and keep the safe full of rainy day money for impending collapse of our soft society 😂 …. So it’s motocamping (Tenere 700) and nasty single track (tax 250 two smoker) ….. Hard to beat the 450’s on the dirt these days power wise, but maintenance is costly compared to the two smoke …..
@@rippinrogers yeah the blue really pops on these teneres! Those are the tusk crash bars and rear rack, the previous owner had those installed, no complaints, the crash bars follow the body lines well, haven’t officially tested them out on a tip over or crash formation (hopefully not soon 😂) yet but they seem to be substantial for protecting the bike ….

Curious to know what you also considered before buying the Tenere 700?

Are you motocamping or just a day trip?
@@holdfast4588 day trip, should be commuting on this T7 starting next week and then some proper motocamping soon
finally ,are you enjiying the bike?for the money you paid, dont forget.i cant decide between this and new transap damn

loving both? go for the looks.
Buy a used YZ450 and XS1100. Forget the Tenere. You’ll spend less money and have actual performance on road and off.
