Seriously considering this machine or actually the new 20 watt but I don’t see any videos of it running in real time and cutting real plywood, I’ve got a background in signs and graphics just wondering if a diode laser is the machine that will do the job or just a stepping stone.
Hello James, loved your detailed video on the atomstack, have you looked into comgrow comgo Z1 10 w laser? I recently bought one and so far it seems pretty good, do you know of any speed settings? It's hard for me to tell since I'm not nearly as knowledgeable and experienced as you are. Looking forward to hearing back from you soon.
I have a x7 pro and I am trying to cut 1/8 plywood, settings are 49 speed, 85 power, air, continuous power and 12 passes and it is NOT cutting all the way, what am I doing. Please get back with me
Plywood is a tricky beast, as it depends a lot on the type of wood used for the ply, and the glue inbetween. Some will just be impossible to cut - but 1/8-inch should be doable. Firstly, whack the power right up, no need to limit to 85%. Second, check the focus and clean your lens if you havent done that in a while.
I have had nothing but problems with the offline engraving, mine only half works, there is no wi-fi at all it does not show that I have that option, and I get a message that says my D:/ drive is corrupted when I try to save G code, I have tried a new USB stick and micro SD card and when the new card is inserted I get "No SD card" so far this option on my machine purchased Aug 2022 doesn't work, would like to hear any solutions if they are out there?
Hi do you think this machine would be a good starting point for laser engraving. I'm wanting to start a side job laser engraving, but don't know anything about them. How long should I expect it to last running it 6 to 8 hours a day, 5 days a week. Or should I just forget the diode lasers and go for a CO2 machine. This way would take me considerably longer to start making money.

Do you if you can use this machine with Fusion360
If you can export the path as a DXF then yes, but it won't support direct 3D engraving like a CNC.
