  • Hi Guys! In this video we gonna unbox, test and review new ATOMSTACK X7 PRO dual laser engraver and cutter. This powerful laser engraver can engrave all kinds of wood, plastic, leather, ceramic and even stainless steel! It has new M50 laser module with dual 5W laser diodes combined into one laser beam of real 10W optical laser output with spot temperature up to 1200C degrees. With double compressed laser beam of just 0.06mm this Laser Engraver can even cut wood up to 20mm and black acrylic up to 15mm. This Laser engraver have a fixed laser beam so no more laser focusing are necessary and with build in gyroscope and build in protective glass filter there is no need for laser protective eye glasses anymore. This laser engraver have detachable 3.5 inch Touch screen, 32 bit motherboard, WIFI, USB port, Micro SD card reader, it can be used for online or offline engraving. Overall a very impressive, powerful and easy to use laser engraver and I highly recommend it. If you guys want to check it the links are down below.

    Awesome vid! Ordered mine already. You said for the large stainless steel engraving it took 10 hours. How did you break it down? What kind of intervals do you recommend between resting the laser and/or running continuously?

    • @NexiTech
      @NexiTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      Thanks mate Awesome! Yes the large Stainless steel work took around 10 hours. Most Important is if you want to engrave on this stainless steel serving plate that you tape it down to the desk/board or large ceramic tile and just in case to place some weights around it as the laser beam spot is around 1200c which will make thin plate to bend and flex during the engraving and it can ruin the work. In therms of intervals the laser have it's own cooling so it keeps the steady temperature during cutting so I'm not sure that it needs too much resting between works. Also to keep in mind that you don't go slower then 400mm/min when cutting wood as the flames can overheat the laser and it will stop the process. So it's better to make the more pass faster then go dead slow and overheat the laser module.

      in Lightburn at the top click laser Tools, then material test, depending on the material size you have to work with you can make a matrix like 5 x 5 run the test and see what it looks like then you can change speed and power and do another test till you get results that meet your needs you can do this with every material type you use save the test

    how did you engrave on shiny stainless steel ,did you use a coating or marker as in forums i read that you will damage the laser on shiny surfaces ,?

    • @NexiTech
      @NexiTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      I just engraved straight to the stainless steel without anything on it. I didn't realize that the laser can be damaged that way but it makes sense as some proportion of the beam could be reflected back at the source. Thanks for your comment.

    • @NexiTech
      @NexiTech  2 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Thanks Mark! Yeah I agree this is fantastic tool. Drawbacks? Well it creates alot of smoke during deep engraving and cutting so it's hard to use it in the room or apartment. You do need constant ventilation and some kind of enclosure with sucking air fan are must to have in my opinion. I will definitely make or buy some kind of enclosure for it. Other then that I really don't have any complaints. It works great and it's so useful.

      Check the belts. Are they both nice and tight? Check both sides of Y axis. Are both side parallel? Are they have the same distance from the frame? Also check all bearing wheels on adjust them. Then when you sort out mechanical things you can experiment with the software. I found that if you change from 8 lines to 10 lines per mm works great for engravings. Give a try and let me know how it went. Cheers!

      When installing the y axis belts. Put the whole x rail all the way to the back or front. Install your belts being sure that it is properly in the gears. Tighten down both rear ends of the belts. Then pull them snug to the front and tighten.

    I bought X7, rotary, and extension kit. Having many issues, the packaging arrived damaged, and cables were outside & damaged. I am working with Lightburn, often it gets disconnected. Also was overcharged, order value was €975 but was charged €1027.36
    I wasn't happy with the way it arrived & the output result asked them to take a return. For 4-5 weeks they tried to negotiate with €20 refund for the damage this & that. Then stopped responding to emails.
    As per EU law, the right to return. Return policy should be clear, they are not interested in honoring law or EU standards. Now I am raising this with the EU consumer agency.

      No money has been exchanged for makind this video and If you fallow my channel for any period of time and watch my videos you would know that I never make paid reviews or paid videos or any kind of sponsorship or anything. If I did, I would for sure do much better in terms of number of subscribers, new tech products and general life standards. But when I look on other much bigger TH-camrs who makes tons of money sometimes I think that I should do paid reviews and paid videos but again my nature and personality don't allow me to do so and that's why I will probably stop making videos and quit TH-cam in the near future because soon won't be able to support my family by continuing to do so...
