Has to be a loose fit
Has to be a loose fit
Go on move in it
Go on do your bit
Small, big, take your pick
Doesn't have to be legit
It's gotta be a loose fit
It's gotta be a loose fit
Don't need no skin tights in my wardrobe today
Fold them all up and put them all away
Won't be no misfit in my household today
Pick him all up and send him on his way
Do what you're doin'
Say what you're sayin'
Go where you're goin'
Think what you're thinkin'
Sounds good to me
Don't know what you saw
But you know it's against the law
And you know that you want some more
I've heard it all before
Gonna buy an air force base
Gonna wipe out your race
Get stoned in a different place
Don't you know I got better taste
Do what you're doin'
Say what you're sayin'
Go where you're goin'
Think what you're thinkin'
Sounds good to me
Do what you're doin'
Spend what you're owin'
Pay what you're payin'
Look where you're goin'
Say what you're thinkin'
Kill who you're killin'
Sing if you're singin'
Speak if you're speakin'
Sounds good to me

Rest In Peace Paul Ryder. Big love to the Happy Mondays family
That bass makes all the difference.

@@darylchambers5945 I just saw Tina Weymouth the bassist of talking heads produced them ? That could explain a lot ? Psycho killer !
When Paul Ryder died

R.I.P Paul Ryder, huge thanks to ya for your amazing gift of your music.
It may say London Recordings but it will always be Factory Records to me.
Absolutely!
Possumbaby1413 too right
It's just a label...
@@leoarc1061 More than just a label. An art gesture.
It will always be a song to me.
Pills thrills and bellyaches was an amazing album. I remember not being able to stop listening to it. Loved Bob's Yer Uncle and Holiday
i do agree!!! ine of the best.
@@pauladias2075 😬
Are you in England my dear? Wondering if they were big wherever you were back when "Pills\Thrills" came out.
i'm from canada and saw them in san francisco by accident. game changer much love e
I agree brilliant album
What an artist. Britain really does produce some amazing talent. Big shout from the US.
I'm also loving other various UK based acts like
The Prodigy, Stone Roses, Chemical Brothers, The Streets, Leftfield, Faithless, Burial,
Massive Attack, Stereo MCs, Orbital, Tricky, Underworld, Unkle, Sleaford Mods, AllFlaws
Always created such catchy hooks/riffs in their tracks, very underrated act.
This is such a good song to chill with whenever I am wound up I make a coffee and relax with the Happy Mondays
Can't buy a pair of trousers without thinking about this!
This song was the perfect mix of acid house and rock n roll.
Still sounds good 33 years down the road, Bez dancing his dances, brilliant stuff.
This song will never get old. Love it
I did loose fit aint a choice Ogden's nut gone flakey heather still got the voice 🍄😎🍺
My youth , took me bloody 3 years to find out, i was a close friend lol...nah Shaun was a genius in his own right
pills thrills and bellyaches we all we close xd, Live long and PROPSPER
YA GONE AND BLOODY LEFT US DIN YA FFS LAD !
Great tune
The production on this whole album is top notch, especially on this track!!
Gotta thank Oakey for that 🎹🤟
I'd argue the production/sound was more to do with Steve Osborne tbh
@@aliprimtoke and you'd be wrong
RIP Paul, thank you Happy Mondays for contributing to the best years of my life, God bless Madchester
Best comment I ever read ‘rumour has it they found blood in Bez’s ecstasy system’ 🤣
Bez is a whole damn vibe!
What an incredible album
RIP to a Madchester legend. Can't believe Paul's gone :(
Love this velvety riff.
That brutal, brooding bass... Sleep well Big Arm, your work is done here
took a lot of E and whizz in the early nineties listening to this album in my flares and gazelles. 18yrs old what a time to be alive.
Love these boys (and rowetta)
The genius of tony wilson
The Yanks had nothing like this, they were nowhere, everybody knows Mancs had the best music, the best culture and the best drug's,this was the best era never to be repeated.
Well they had Nirvana! Let alone Megadeth! Agree with you, but Oasis get on my 'man boobs' as far as 'Manc's' go.
you`re right and im not a mancunian im from argentina
I’m a Yank and I agree. Pound for pound Manchester has the most monumental musical heritage. I’ll make a pilgrimage one day.
@@NathanWind99 I loved Manchester I moved 6,000 miles to live here. Only took me 20 years. There is no place like it.
Foking Top! And I am saying this as a Black Yank Who was 21 in 1993
Absolute tune, the Mondays killed it at the hacienda 40th last night....proper nostalgia
Fantastic track. One of their best.
RIP PAUL RYDER what a bass player.I dont think he got the props as much as he should have.
Pills & Thrills was a great album I remember buying it in about 1990.
I've spent a bit of time re-buying CDs I owned the first time around....Stone Roses, Wonderstuff, Ocean Colour Scene, and a few others.....I should never have gotten rid of them, now I can see myself buying Pills & Thrills again 😆✌️
Future classics, buy now before you can't even get them on hardcopy anymore.
R.I.P. Paul, fly high & thanks for the music
Feel so lucky to have been a teenager when this came out and I got to listen to things like this.
You still can listen to this
We were lucky, I was a teen also although I always felt incredibly far removed in a village in Essex, little did I know the raves were happening apparently all around while I dreamed of London and Manchester 🙄
@@dambrooks7578 I'm Essex and a little older I think, we went to plenty of raves in Essex and London in the early to mid 90's. Good times! I'm Braintree so we had The Prodigy around town and XL local. Man I miss the 90s!
@@davekennedy6315 I lived in Doddinghurst a village near Brentwood that I left aged 16 to move to London and got involved in the squatting rave scene... oh I was so thin and agile 😀 not anymore though 😧
@@dambrooks7578 hahahaha! Sounds very familiar mate. I'm 46 now with 3 kids and, to honest, never even thought I'd get to this age (not in one piece at least!)
So truthfully reflected drug culture and 90s, sounded bit evil to start with then I started to appreciate to vibe & riffs. All of a sudden as a young lad your like"actually this is genius".
Ryder you rocked man. Tunes are ledgendary to us 90s teens getting wasted. Great times with your tunes. Never stop listening to you even as crazy grandma today😂🎉🎉
Pills n Thrills…man, what an album, reminds me of summer 1991. This track and Kinky Afro
This might not make any sense to anyone but this song is like walking through a swimming pool. It's just that bit slower than it should actually be conventionally but in an amazing way. What a band
To me it makes perfect sense, it`s the Happy Mondays special effect, only a few people notice that !
Nope, it's the PERFECT speed.
That's the loose fit rythm.
People tell me that is exactly what Ketamine feels like haha
Bezzzo had the best dance moves-flowing like a bendy man-supberb 🏴👍
He was integral to the Mondays' sound.
Maybe the single must underated song of all time
This Song Is pure trip. The Guitar riff match perfectly with the funky drums and the kickass bass :)
Pure class this. Takes me back.
Awesome track and band - watched them last night 2-6-23 still amazing!! RIP Paul Ryder
What a tune 👍🏻
Top tune, we all had the early Ralph Lauren jacket Shaun's wearing circa 88.
Proper lads tune.👍🏾
Just heard the news RIP Paul 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Shaun and Bezs podcast has to be the best thing on TH-cam at the min. It's so good to see the both of um bouncing off eachother still after all these years!
Great to see the pair of them on Celebrity Gogglebox tonight, 4 June 2021.
Whaaaaaaat?????? Thanks for telling us!
that guitar, that Rhythm :-)
Christ...look at that conk on Ryder..... What a snozzer that is...
Great track Greater Band... "Hallelujah" for the Mondays 😆
You wouldn't want to share your bag with him
Oh to be back in the 90,s again!
Class tunes, from a class time, with class drugs too! Miss those days! 👌😎👍🎧😃
What was your poison 😂🤦🏻♂️😂
This music was the sound backdrop for my teenage years...
What an absolute pearl
TUUUUUUUUUUUUUNE!
Pills thrills and bellyaches was one of the best albums of the 90s for sure.
You need an uplifted.. Dennis and lois
Top banging everything music is meant to be. A classic
Killer tune! One of my favorite bands of the 80's/90's
It has to be a Loose Fit in 2019. Still Pills, No Thrills and Bellyache’s.
"Think what you think, it sounds good to me" = Think it sounds Bl**dy amazing.🔥
As good as it gets
Deeply hypnotic
R.I.P Paul Ryder
This is probably the coolest track and the coolest video ever.
Rest in peace Paul. God Bless🙏
the coolest groove ever to leave lancashire for a cheeky week in ibiza.
RIP Paul
Underrated!
Best Mondays tune but all them are great my personal fav
Shaun doing the ket walk
Proper tune.
R.I.P. Paul Ryder.
Used to have this on a cassette single. Kept turning it around in my tape player.
Just a great hook.

Try 45.✌
Adore.
Damn it this song is so damn good. 💕
Hey Janis lbarra, i saw Happy Mondays a few days ago live. What a top night & i'm glad to say they still have it. Gezza for life !
@@beeboy6967 that is awesome ❤ I would have loved to be there ✨
Fantastic on multiple levels .
Top tier tune
When life was simple happy Mondays mean happy memories
For a man who seems to often(some times lets his gaurd slip)delight in appearing thick,Shaun Ryder seems remarkably poetic in his lyrics. The Mondays, like many popstars, like to give the impression they flooked it.But I wonder.Theres some serious musicianship going on here.
Happiness step on legends
Made in MADCHESTER 😎
Heard this played in a shop yesterday had to come home and play it loud tremendous tune.
rest in peace paul ryder
If you were born in the early 70s then the late 80s/ early 90s were our 60s! Made a few Happy Mondays GIFS as they were hardly any & they'll be available through FB & twitter shortly
When life was simple happy happy memories.
Loved the Mondays back in the day saw them @ Wembley Arena London late 1990 classic gig .,.. "Loose fit" 😎🤘👍 ,......
Love the way he starts doing a Bez dance at 1:20.
Still sounds good 30 years on
I love the extended mix of this
Just love happy Mondays.
Rip P R , love Rowetta , what a fine woman she is .
Total legend.
Back when a score bag of weed was a fiver
Them was soapbar on tic days...
Double O ZeRo was my poison back in the day. Lovely clean high. Ideal whilst listening to all that tip top indie music
Grown in the loft of a council house, electricity turned off when the police helicopter was about.
Best song on the album....
Sounds good to me!
Sometimes I feel like I’m the only teenager in 2020 who listens to the Mondays
hello i am here :) i love them!!
I feel that
I'm 29, kid. Still here.
I am 16 and I also feel like I am the only one🤣🤣 it sucks that there is not more of us

Pure Madchester ❤
Timeless classics❤
"Sounds good to me "
Goose bumps man 😊
