If this is your first time reacting to Home Free you're going to go down the deepest rabbit hole ever.. these five men are absolutely breathtaking, outstanding and their voices are like angels.. Good Luck you have got a long journey to go they are just that talented..
I think I may have seen your head explode at least 3-4 different times. I love watching NEW people reacting to Home Free for the very first time. Your facial expressions says it all.
They are doing every single sound, from the click, to the harmonica and Juice Harp sounds. Their beat boxer Adam Rupp is one of the best in the world and has won championships to prove it. Your reactions are just so amazing and genuine, it is great to see someone whose emotions are touched so deeply by music. I have suggested it before and will again, after your reaction to PTX Amazing Grace, you need to check out Home Free's How Great Thou Art... You will be moved.
Adam Rupp does the "drum set" and "harmonica" sounds. The strange sound that starts and ends the song is supposed to sound like a jaw harp or jew's harp (put it against your mouth, twang the spring and hum past the spring), but it is Adam Chance (called Chance) with harmonic overtone singing, like Tibetan throat singing.
They are indeed soulful! There's a particular sound in the south.....I'm not from there but truly appreciate it. Thank you for sharing m'lady! Your reaction was quite similar to mine when I first heard this. Goosebumps!
Great reaction to hearing Home Free for the first time. Love the fact that you were speechless when trying to describe them. That was my reaction too! They are definitely talented and very down to earth. I think their music makes everyone happy! Welcome to the Home Fries world! I'll definitely be subscribing!
Welcome to the amazing Rabbit Hole that is Home Free and their a cappella brilliance. Great reaction, pretty much everyone who has ever heard them for the first time. Next try: Ring of Fire with Avi, Helplessly Hoping, Folsom Prison Blues, All about that Bass, 7 Bridges Road, and a bunch of amazing Christmas and Gospel music plus tons of other things. The beat boxer has won world championships, but all are amazing. If you thought the bass singer sang low in this song, just wait he goes much lower and can actually blow out speakers live or make them not work. Thanks for sharing, enjoy the wonder that is Home Free. chris
There is nothing I love more in this world for people to get to know another people, another culture. That is why I don't believe in real racism anymore. It is so rare and hard to find and instigated by so few... a few evil people in a quiet corner. The way into the future to experience new cultures. I have been doing this throughout Asia for many years and I can tell you at home and abroad real racism is so rare. Love this girl by the way. So happy to see her reactions. Subscribed.
Omg. French Canadian here. Never seen this band or heard this song sor do I listen to this kind of music. But. After this reaction video, wow!! They're amazing and I loved it.
lol, they are making all the sounds, they are amazing! everytime that one flutters his hand over his mouth it reminds me of being a kid, taking blades of grass and making them squeel and sing. he's sooo talented
I’ve seen them live, and can’t wait to see them again. Nasa, dig in, they do so many great covers, and a few originals. They have country roots and have songs that will make you cry.
Don't oversell it. They're fantastic, but they DO use body parts other than their mouths on occasion. Adam claps in Folsom Prison Blues, for example. They all stomp at the start of Mayday. They're amazing enough without people telling Paul Bunyanesque tales about them.
@@chrisd7047 I’m not sure what point you’re making ,they don’t deny they clap and stomp ,it’s pretty obvious in their video ( they use finger clicking too ) ,that’s part of accapella for heavens sake Adam has won world championships with his beatboxing Accapella means “ without any musical instruments “ not “ only voices “ Just because someone makes a statement that doesn’t include the words and body such as clapping and stomping and other human made noises hardly makes it a tall tale and is just being overly pedantic nitpicking on your part And the “ devil went down to Georgia “ was recorded with the Charlie Daniels band ,who took the lead vocal and they were there for backing
The song was published in 1913 by Dick Burnett, adapted from a traditional American folk song. Other well known versions are by the Stanley Brothers, and of course the Soggy Bottom Boys in the film "O Brother, Where art Thou?" It's been covered by multiple artists and groups and may be 100 years older than the publication date.

Hope you'll do more Home Free just live these guys check out Meet In The Middle, Folsom Prison Blues, Can't Stop the Feeling, with Christmas coming Do you Hear what I Hear and their new Christmas song Cold Hard Cash
OK *two things.* 1. You will likely get a lot of requests for a cover Home Free did called 'Mayday' by CAM. Now, while that song is *amazing* it has a surprise that you will not understand unless you know the group a little better. I recommend watching at least 3 more videos by them before doing Mayday. You should know them well enough by then. 2. If you have trouble believing those sounds are really coming from their mouths, especially the beat boxer Adam Rupp... you haven't even heard their beat boxer cut loose yet. They have a video called 'Adam Rupp's Drum Solo' where he shows off a bit. Also many modern beat boxers started idolizing an African American actor named Micheal Winslow that got famous in the 80's for several movie roles and now days he does stand up comedy. You'll understand if you watch...basically any of his stuff. You don't have to react to it but please do check it out, here's a great example from the comedy movie, 'Space Balls' (a *_fantastic_* movie by the way) th-cam.com/video/rGvblGCD7qM/w-d-xo.html

Only thing is a live loop to this song and "Castle on the hill" when they do a live show.
Welcome to the rabbit hole...lol. You should hear their version of Do You Hear What I Hear. It was done before one member left and another bass joined the group.
marvellous! one more and you've met the trinity.
