    You can't handcheck in this era. This fact alone would make it incredibly easy for Jordan to score even more than he did. They also allow guys to palm the ball and do that James Harden step back jumper where he takes 3 full steps and they don't call it traveling even though it clearly is. You can imagine he would add that move to his repertoire as well. Jordan would average over 40 without even trying. It would be a joke.

    Do people think Jordan played in the 50’s? In terms of skillset, Dwyane is similar to MJ, except MJ is much better. Wade played in the current era and was a top, top player. What adaptation would Jordan need to make? The only reason players shoot 3’s so much is that they aren’t proficient at the mid-range game. For example, making 1/3 of 240 three point shots is equivalent to making 1/2 of 240 mid-range jumpers. It makes sense for an average offensive player to focus on three point shootings. But Jordan wouldn’t have needed to adjust. The Jordan before the baseball break would average 40 per game today. That Jordan was a more refined version of Westbrook.

      Kobe is a poorman's jordan.
      Jordan definitely stronger, faster and more importantly, have higher IQ than Kobe.
      Look at what kobe did in the so called modern NBA,. Imagine an upgraded version of Kobe and that would be mike

    MJ wouldn’t have to “adapt.” The greatest players define the game; the rest of these jokers would have to adapt to him. Some would succeed, and some wouldn’t.

      Mad Bway and to do in a quicker way that used to. Imagine applying today’s fast pace to Jordan’s energy! He would average by so much more points than the highest scorer today! It’s like imagining Rodman in today’s game that he would easily average about mid 20s of rebound in MULTIPLE YEARS. Every year Rodman would be the rebounding champ every year and worn even come close. Rodman also would be able to score on put backs the fact that under the hoop won’t be as crowded as it used to be back the . These intangibles are never considered by people who argue that MJ would not be able to average higher than today’s players.

    • @znhait
      @znhait 4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not necessarily. Jordan’s mid-range game might have been too good. If a player can shoot over 50% from 2’s, 80% from the FT line, and drive to the basket at will, it probably isn’t worth it to shoot too many 3’s.

    • @stephenasunnamedsource2943
      @stephenasunnamedsource2943 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@znhait MJ really wouldnt need to Develop a 3 beyond something respectable so you cant sag off but if you gave him a lineup like Milwaukee or Denver where the Big can shoot hed be shooting Percentages near what Centers shoot. Hed probably be hovering between 55%-60%. People dont get that. He shot above 50% while getting tackled on the way to ths basket so to think hes not gnna shoot better with a wide open paint isnt logical

    • @znhait

    MJ - averaged above 20 ppg in the 80s, 90s, and 2000s why wouldnt he be able to do the same today? Then haters say hes just a better version of derozan. Yes he is a quicker, more athletic, better shooter, passer, defender, and overall player than the best version of derozan which is a 27 ppg guy. So yes MJ would dominate.
