@@Anthony-uz5tj that's how rebar (reinforcing bar) is actually connected - with wire twists. That grid increases the tensile strength of concrete.
I dont understand how he cleaned up the excess cement that over split.

I am thinking of going to architecture college.. Do you reccomend it? Would you change your job ig you had the chance? Is there enough work possibilities?
@@hanadelic1899 I know a lot of lawyers, business people, project mangers, accountants, but I only know one Architect and she loves her career! Architecture is constantly evolving so if you are young, you will be able to ride the evolving wave as it develops. As a kid I always wanted to be an architect, and I regret never following that dream. If it is what you are passionate about, and what you actually want to do, then do it!
As far as work possibilities/opportunities go, that largely depends on where you are in the world and what weight an Architect degree carries. In most places, with an Architect degree you are not limited to drawing up building plans, you could branch into spatial design, civil engineering, quantity surveying, building inspector etc.
You can go as far as you want to, in anything you want to, as long as you are passionate, self-disciplined and have a desire to keep improving yourself!

@@hanadelic1899 Right now Im a first year Architecture student in America and honestly Im having a lot of fun doing the major albeit it does get tough sometimes when there are deadlines for projects. Overall though, its extremely rewarding when you do make that deadline and finish the project so I think its definitely something to pursue in a career. Its something I've wanted to do since I was a kid so I'm happy that I'm following my dreams :)

When my grandparents build their house on an acreage, they had a mini model of it to work from
I think architects like keeping the models as they use them kinda like a portfolio
we actually got that too :D - but not made from concrete; it was more like a doll house from wood and plaster so that you could take it apart to have a better look inside. we gifted it back to the architect on the 10th anniversary of the home

His plastic casing that he use before cementing the inner stuff is just insanely precise and neat. I always wonder how the hell he measure with such precision and then glue all the pieces together to make those perfect fittings. Dammn !🔥 Good job lad.
he has a full precice 3d cad model of this house.. and i guess he laserprintes the cutting line ...the rest is patience..
Couldn't you just scale up this process of having mouldes that get filled with metal bars and concrete to speed up real life consutruction projects? Thinking about this, there are probably already solutions out there doing exactly that. Enlighten me pls

At the start I was confused when the foundations were being layed as to what was happening bc I assumed they would just be making a little foam core house or something but then this guy whips out the literal concrete and I know I’m in for a wild ride

Honestly, as an architecture student I would definitely want my models to look this cool and amazing... In your videos I've seen that you use the cement direct from the cup to fill in this structure of walls... I was wondering if I would be better to use a piping bag to fill in the cement... 진짜 이런 거 보면 진짜 감탄나오고 건축가 진짜 진짜 너무 멋있는 직업 같음. 자신이 설계한 그 상상의 집을 만들 수 있는 거잖아. 물론 여건이 되야되겠지만은. 그래도 자신이 설계하고 현장에 나가서 조금씩 지시하고 그렇게 만들어진 건축물 보면 뿌듯할 거 같앙ㅎㅎ
최근에 이분 영상 떠서 계속 봤는데 진짜 그쪽 말대로 완전 뿌듯할듯 ㅠㅠ 디자인 설계 다 내가 해야하는데 그걸 항상 아이디어 넘치게 만드시는 건축가님들 완전 짱임 멋있네요ㅠㅠ

AutoCAD and a laser printer can do you wonders!
I studied architecture at U of H before computers and we had model building classes for this purpose. Precision cuts were crucial and could make or break a project. These CAD people don't know what they are missing.
@@chriscattelino8169 Yes you are right , nowdays all people generally make there projects on cad or other software and the didn't know how much it feels great when we use our own hands for designing on paper it feels like a we are connected to that we can feel even imagine the working of our project which is much better than that cartoon animation
@@chriscattelino8169 I was here before computers was around as well. But I just find it completely ignorant not to use the tools at our disposal now. I'm sure people back in the day built their houses out of sticks and plant fibers. I bet they would say the same thing about you on precision cutting materials when it's easier just to build it from raw materials. Who is right? Think in the past and you might just get left there.
@@mchlsull In my High School we had a class where they built a house from scratch at 1"=1' scale, cutting each 2X4 stud, etc. It was the most popular class in the department. I tried to get into it twice and it was full both times. Later I had the opportunity to wok for an architect firm because all of their people were CAD trained and could not put pencil to paper, so when the power went out, they were hut down completely. Computers are great, but they have weaknesses.
This thing probably costs more than my actual house.

The quality materials are good and perfect , which he is using ,in makeing the models !!!. What I did but long time ago , but without
that quality materials just simple hard paper blocks, usually whiteboard only because I haven't got better ones , but today
are a big variety of choices and that is a big plus for the people
who are is interested in making the little beautiful houses with the lights
