Beautiful work. The layers upon layers of details are what makes this diorama so wonderful...the wood in the stove that you will never see, the planking of the boat that is covered with the tarp and the animals you added are just wonderful. Job well done

I thank you so very much for showing me almost everything I need to know to build a model of my grandparents old home! I’d given up on continuing construction, but I can’t get it out of my mind (and I really don’t want to). Their house was actually 3 old family homes moved from miles away, and combined into one back in the 50’s.
The builder of this is a master of perfection .

That coffee ground texture was spot on for the trees. Looked like spruce trees when they were done. I also liked how you made your eavestrough.

Your work has really gotten detail oriented. Not that you weren’t before but much more now. And you are using things anyone can acquire. It’s the way you put together and of course your painting techniques that really make stand out. And your clean building with precision. I can’t get over how much detail you’ll add or custom build something then cover with a tarp! That’s cool that you dont sacrifice show for reality.

Absolutely fantastic! I might suggest adding a corner board to the house? That would be a realistic solution to covering up the lap siding gaps.

When the author installed the squirrel on a tree trunk, I was very surprised, I did not expect such an attitude to details. The author is a professional in his field.

every time you did something to make it look even more realistic and weathered, from the algae growing on the bottom corners of the house and against the water. to the water texture acrylic that dried clear to make the water seem moving, even the rust and the soot and the scuff marks on all the wooden features, i was jaw dropped. but when you added the tiny animals like the squirrels and the snail. i had officially lost my mind. i had not even realized, almost 45 minutes had passed already! i was so engrossed! this is amazing! you are amazing! i am addicted! this is so therapeutic after a hard week at work, its so cool to see this level of detail. kudos to you my friend. i am so happy i got to see this from start to finish. if i could like this video a hundred times i would.
