I think a housing crash will happen because all those people who bought homes over asking price, although it was at a low interest rate, they are over their heads. They have no equity if the housing prices continue to go down, and if for whatever reason they cannot afford the house anymore and it goes into foreclosure because even if they try to sell, they will not make any money. I think this will happen to a lot of people especially with the massive layoff predicted for the future and the cost of living rising at a high speed.

As a first year College student at an architecture school, this does indeed put a smile on my face and makes me strive to reach this level of experience...maybe one day
It's crazy how architects seem to go like "hmm let's make a house" and it successfully looks like that. Hope everyone realizes he had this whole design in his head even if the sketch didn't show it to us. Creativity at its finest.
I am betting he set it up in a CAD program to scale the measurements. It could be done freehand but the work of calculating the dimensions is tedious.
He probably used revit for any structural components

I feel like this is the best way to present what you want your house to look like to an architect, and everyone who is going to be constructing your house. Its 10X better than blueprints, because you can actually see it in 3D form, you can really feel out the looks, and what it be like living there.
the model itself will be as expensive.
But it is very deficient and time consuming
it helps with the visualization but a model like this will have no value in terms of measurements and thats where blueprints come in as they will actually let builders know how to build the house. not just the blueprints but the whole planning package. Either way this is super cool to watch because of how much attention to detail was placed in the video.

@@tmylee That's simulating reinforced concrete - it's a real thing, most houses use that. Although in real life for a house like this it would be cheaper, quicker and better to cast it off-site in factories instead of building formwork and pouring it vertically.
