The prices are skyrocketing!! It’s insane. This year will be very difficult for me to buy at full price perfume.
When you start buying decants it’s hard to justify a full bottle unless you love loooove the juice ! I’ve got first hand experience with this.. I used to blind buy soooo much and it was getting bad, just because I allowed myself to get influenced by other TH-camrs opinions. We live and we learn, ay? Thank you for this review hun, not my type of perfume genre, but here to support x
I agree with you on Feve Gourmande and Prada Candy Night being different. I have both and I love them both.
I bought the new version right when it came out I’m loving it. Never smelled the original.

Arlene, I’ve been curious about this for years, especially back when it was “affordable.” 😂 After the prices zoomed up, I became more skeptical. 😬 I was just about to ask how it compares to Prada Candy Night. When I win the lottery, I’ll buy us both the whole Guerlain line. :) TFS!!
I love feve!!! I own a original gourmand also love ❤❤… This is my signature scent .One of the best from guerlain!!!
Would it be a safe blind buy? I love vanilla gourmands. My favourite of all time is Angelique noire. I’m so so about SDV
@@nicolelovece939maybe not if you like Angelique noire. I really do not care for Angelique noire for exemple, it’s really not the kind of DNA that I like in a perfume, it does nothing for me. Fève gourmande and SDV are very cosy gourmand… SDV is beautiful when it dries down, at first it reminds me of a pizza smell and then it transits to this really cosy smell. Very close to the skin but so so pretty. Fève gourmande is really nice too, I would say SDV lasts more on me and tough they don’t smell the same, they give me the same cozy warm vibe. I would never buy Angelique noire but Fève gourmande and SDV would safe blind buys for ppl that like cozy gourmande. If you like the fresh vanilla of Angelique noire these may not be a safe blind buy.
I have the original, and haven’t tried the new version. I will say, I have Bois d'Armenie in the old and new version and the new version is the same scent, but nowhere near as strong. So watered down, with a higher price. I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the same for the entire line.
Hi, I was actually wondering about that comparison with the old version of Bois d’Armenie. I love the scent, but it is really weak on me.
@@gizellapopescu3355 I was so excited to be able to use up my old bottle that I bought after it was discontinued bc it was being brought back. I was quite sad when I first sprayed the new bottle bc of how weak it was. Unless something changes, I will no longer be buying any fragrances from the range.

Honestly for that price a skinscent is just not acceptable. And even tho I agree we don't need beast mode fragrances every single time, companies keep watering their perfumes down and rising prices. For other side, have you tried Ecrin de Fumee by Serge Lutens? I feel notes are very alike, ron, cacao, smoke, but no florals in that one. Great review!

I have owned the original Gourmand Coquin for a few years. I find it to be stronger than a skin scent, for sure. It’s not a beast, but it does give a nice scent bubble for the day. I’m guessing the sample just doesn’t wear the same way, so just wanted people to know that a full bottle does perform decently.
It's a skin scent for me too, after the lovely initial blast. With fragrances, It's often like that. I have that scent bubble with other fragrances but for me, GC doesn't project. Even up close, It's very faint. Wish I had your experience :)
I tried this one over the weekend and I told the lady that it smells like hot cocoa...I said it smells good, I'm not sure I want to smell like that though lol.

Hi! I buy from different niche stores in the Netherlands and I buy from Ebay. Other samples comes as gifts with purchases :)
