Jicky by Guerlain without a doubt - it's my go-to signature scent. It always delivers, is consistent and extremely pleasant. Not overpowering and has that lovely Guerlain vanilla at the base. Also, am loving Gentle Fluidity Gold by MFK.
Not much to the point of the video but I had a Dutch friend once. She liked to cycle a lot and she used to offer me some candies that she claimed only Dutch people liked. I think they had licorice in them.
I so love le labo another 13 thanks to you. I've already gone through 2 bottles this year and had to stop refilling or my other perfumes did not stand a chance of ever getting worn 😅. My biggest dents at the moment are from JHAG not a perfume superdose, moscow mule, Glossier's you, Dyptique's eau duelle, 7 virtues vanilla woods, MFK gentle fluidity gold, and kayali vanilla 28. But then again I almost always use them to layer with my other perfumes so that's probably why😊 Oh, and Penhaligons Changing constance. If I had to pick a signature scent, that would be it.❤

I don't have fragrances that quite smell like that, but for fragrances with a high end, body cream vibe to them, I would check out Prada La Femme, Rania J Musc Moschus, Maison de L'Asie Bali H'ai, Parle Moi de Parfum Milky Musk 39/Juliette Has a Gun Sunny Side Up, Rirana Vanilla Tea, or Mind Games Castling
thank you! Bel Canto smells like FDB Santal Complet with much better performance. In the opening, the notes feel more individual. They jump out more, you can pick up the difference nuances, you’re hit with different things after the other. As it dries down, it all blends together into that SC balmy feel. I like the opening with the citrus kick, in addiction to the violet, sandalwood, and vanilla. Definitely has a coconut vibe with a little earthiness as well. overall has a very balmy texture, a big like. I'm not a fan of Prima Donna, it was too leather heavy for me. Leather, musk, florals, and wood. Dolce Melodia was a like. Fun, very girly, young, smells like a very sweet gummy candy. Black currant, pear, vanilla, florals, and citrus. If you like the Erba Pura DNA, Erba Pura Magica is by far the best fragrance I've smelled in that category. So if you like that kind of musk, the way the fruits are done in EPM is superior. Fruity, exotic, unique, and super strong. Contralto was a love, smells like Byredo Bal d’Afrique but SLIGHTLY less citrusy and almost has a touch of a fruity tone. The note breakdown doesn’t give an accurate representation to how it smells. I would get it if I didn’t already own Bal d'Afrique ❤️

I pick up the strongest off putting smell with the note of cloves, which Contralto has. I think i will have to try to find a sample ! Because Bal Dafrique has been on my wishlist but have heard many things about poor performance. I have smelled Erba Pura Mágica and you are so right. It is the superior option in that DNA family. What a shame about Prima Donna. I was hoping it would be a nice femme fatale option.

Ah you have good taste, I love Naxos, they're completely different! Herod is more gourmand, more unisex imo, more cozy, it's sweeter, has a bit of an apple cider like vibe to it, more of a creamy, smooth vanilla, more cinnamon, and doesn't have that aromatic feel from lavender
Speaking of juniper notes, have your tried Penhaligan's Juniper Sling, it's incredibly addictive and uniquely refreshing! I have impressive dents in JHAG Not a Perfume, Shiseido Zen and Diptyque's Eau Duelle and Philosykos.

Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 + Iris was lovely, it was soft to my nose, but from what I could smell, it was very pretty, but I know other people can smell it strongly and I hear it has great performance, so just depends on your nose of course. I have a sample of Giardini di Toscana Scintilla yet to try, so we'll see how that one goes 😬

Have you tried the Le Labo Another 13 liquid balm? To me it is a lot stronger than the spray which I can smell sometimes and other times I can’t smell at at.
I tend to save my BR540 extrait, but, like you, I've got a good dent in the Orientica version and I adore Sunset Riot by All Saints for a very similar vibe. I wear the heck out of that one. Prada La Femme and Commodity Milk...OMG...can't stop wearing them to bed! Others I baby because they are discontinued or because I can't afford to replace are Penhaligons The Bewitching Jasmine, Initio Oud for Greatness, Delina, BDK Gris Charnel, EBK Deep 'N Desire Yacht and Guerlain La Petit Robe Noir. If I didn't hold myself back, they'd be long gone by now. 💜
Baccarat did the same for me. I smelled it and it blew my mind. I said the same thing!!! What else is out there??? It’s been bottle after bottle ever since. 😂
I remember the first time I smelled BR540 on my aunt and I will never forget we got in to an elevator together and a woman ran after us and held the door to ask her what she was wearing. I bought the perfume at Saks the same day haha.
I am already that far through Sunnyside Up since you recommended it a few months ago- and I have at least 150 or 200 (never counted) frags... I was literally about to message you again, asking for my next natural-esque season appropriate frag. I've been camping and hiking on fall break... and realized, that category represents a gaping hole in my frag collection. I'm wearing gourmands in the forest (at least not Rojas- lol), praying I don't get stung!😂 so.... I prefer some sweetness... some femininity- but on the natural side. Sunnyside Up was perfection- just wish I didn't have to Bathe in it. Pls tell me the next sweetest (obviously subtly so- not gourmands) of those more natural musks, sandlewoods, and vanillas!
I am on the hunt for a pine heavy perfume! I have G Water, and BR 540 and think what I'm drawn to is the pine and sweetness. I've tried so many (Woods of Scandinavia, etc) but haven't found any that give that GWater/BR pine... maybe it's the sweetness added to them? Any suggestions appreciated!!
I'm in the process of denting my Clean Reserve Skin big time. Unfortunately, my Herod decant is alas no more. I used it up in about a week. 🤤🤤 It's at the top of my (admittedly extremely long) wish list.

I don't have fragrances that quite smell like that, but for fragrances with a high end, body cream vibe to them, I would check out Prada La Femme, Rania J Musc Moschus, Maison de L'Asie Bali H'ai, Parle Moi de Parfum Milky Musk 39/Juliette Has a Gun Sunny Side Up, Rirana Vanilla Tea, or Mind Games Castling

Hi!! You always have the best reccs. Any recommendations on Sospiro ? I am between Bel Canto, Prima Donna, and Dolce Melodía.
thank you! Bel Canto smells like FDB Santal Complet with much better performance. In the opening, the notes feel more individual. They jump out more, you can pick up the difference nuances, you’re hit with different things after the other. As it dries down, it all blends together into that SC balmy feel. I like the opening with the citrus kick, in addiction to the violet, sandalwood, and vanilla. Definitely has a coconut vibe with a little earthiness as well. overall has a very balmy texture, a big like.
I'm not a fan of Prima Donna, it was too leather heavy for me. Leather, musk, florals, and wood.
Dolce Melodia was a like. Fun, very girly, young, smells like a very sweet gummy candy. Black currant, pear, vanilla, florals, and citrus.
If you like the Erba Pura DNA, Erba Pura Magica is by far the best fragrance I've smelled in that category. So if you like that kind of musk, the way the fruits are done in EPM is superior. Fruity, exotic, unique, and super strong.
Contralto was a love, smells like Byredo Bal d’Afrique but SLIGHTLY less citrusy and almost has a touch of a fruity tone. The note breakdown doesn’t give an accurate representation to how it smells. I would get it if I didn’t already own Bal d'Afrique ❤️
@@AnneLauren you always deliver and MORE 🤍 I already have Santal Complet so I’ll skip on Bel Canto. Now it’s down to Dolce Melodía and Contralto. I pick up the strongest off putting smell with the note of cloves, which Contralto has. I think i will have to try to find a sample ! Because Bal Dafrique has been on my wishlist but have heard many things about poor performance.
I have smelled Erba Pura Mágica and you are so right. It is the superior option in that DNA family.
What a shame about Prima Donna. I was hoping it would be a nice femme fatale option.

Ah you have good taste, I love Naxos, they're completely different! Herod is more gourmand, more unisex imo, more cozy, it's sweeter, has a bit of an apple cider like vibe to it, more of a creamy, smooth vanilla, more cinnamon, and doesn't have that aromatic feel from lavender

Escentric Molecules Molecule 01 + Iris was lovely, it was soft to my nose, but from what I could smell, it was very pretty, but I know other people can smell it strongly and I hear it has great performance, so just depends on your nose of course. I have a sample of Giardini di Toscana Scintilla yet to try, so we'll see how that one goes 😬

I tend to save my BR540 extrait, but, like you, I've got a good dent in the Orientica version and I adore Sunset Riot by All Saints for a very similar vibe. I wear the heck out of that one.

Others I baby because they are discontinued or because I can't afford to replace are Penhaligons The Bewitching Jasmine, Initio Oud for Greatness, Delina, BDK Gris Charnel, EBK Deep 'N Desire Yacht and Guerlain La Petit Robe Noir. If I didn't hold myself back, they'd be long gone by now. 💜

I am already that far through Sunnyside Up since you recommended it a few months ago- and I have at least 150 or 200 (never counted) frags... I was literally about to message you again, asking for my next natural-esque season appropriate frag. I've been camping and hiking on fall break... and realized, that category represents a gaping hole in my frag collection. I'm wearing gourmands in the forest (at least not Rojas- lol), praying I don't get stung!😂 so.... I prefer some sweetness... some femininity- but on the natural side. Sunnyside Up was perfection- just wish I didn't have to Bathe in it. Pls tell me the next sweetest (obviously subtly so- not gourmands) of those more natural musks, sandlewoods, and vanillas!

I am on the hunt for a pine heavy perfume! I have G Water, and BR 540 and think what I'm drawn to is the pine and sweetness. I've tried so many (Woods of Scandinavia, etc) but haven't found any that give that GWater/BR pine... maybe it's the sweetness added to them?

I am crazy for Skylar Salt Air. I did my heart good to hear you talk about it (no one else seems to). Coming out of summer, I'm surprised I have anything left in the bottle. Same with Idole Aura which became another signature scent for me this summer (I'm STILL wearing it). Decent dents in my Delina Rosee and Meliora.
