- Hey guys! Today's video is basically rapid reviews on a bunch of popular fragrances I've tried. I often get asked for my opinion on lots of different perfumes, so if you guys like this type of content, I was thinking of maybe making this into a series? These are my personal, unfiltered, probably unpopular opinions on hyped perfumes, so please don't take offense if you disagree with me. Some of these I hate, others I think are excellent, but maybe aren't my personal style. We all have different noses, preferences, etc., these are just my thoughts. xx

I appreciate reviews on fragrances that people don’t love, like, or maybe even hate. It is helpful in getting to understand how your taste varies from mine so your reviews are even more meaningful to me and better able to guide if something might be worth getting my nose on (or not). Even if someone else detests a fragrance I love, I still appreciate knowing that and the reasons why. Also, the fact that you sample so many and give reviews without necessarily buying a full bottle that you then declutter is helpful. Your overview of Xerjoff wouldn’t have been as comprehensive if you weren’t sampling so much, so thank you!

i didn’t hate burberry her but it smells like a specific lush product to me and was too artificial for my taste. i don’t get the BR540 comparison at all, it just smells like super super sweet strawberry candy! if it were cheaper i’d consider it but i don’t really get the hype tbh

I definitely liked this style of video and I would love to see more of them from you. I really like to hear your thoughts and its interesting to see where we agree and disagree. Especially since there are a couple blind buys I'm interested in getting based on your reviews. The one I'm most eager to get is Lelabo Another 13 (I promise not to blame you if I don't like it haha)

Oh no! Burberry Her is my all time favorite. I have close to 40 fragrances but there’s something special about her. But that’s why there’s 700,000,000,000 fragrances on the market…we all have different tastes! A citrus fragrance that I really like is sunflower pop by floral street. That perfume is exactly what I wish D&G light blue intense was!

How you describe the perfumes is just on another level, never have i seen anyone give sutch a detailed information about fragrances i'm impressed by it! I enjoyed the video! For Atelier Cologne Vanille Insensee, I think “insensee” means “senseless” in French. I don’t think it’s meant to refer to incense the note. I think they were just going for a synonym for intoxicating. Not sure if that adjusts your expectations at all. I agree it’s still a pretty straightforward vanilla with a nice citrus twist. Just wanted to mention that!

Loved this video idea, nice switch up :) these videos always remind me how subjective fragrance really is. I am on the struggle bus with letting some frags go. They smell amazing, but are so not me! Couldn't agree more about the Her line!!

Yes! Finally someone said it. I agree, I think orange blossom comes off like grape juice. Lancome's La Vie Est Belle L'Eclat smells like straight up grape juice to me. Love your videos, Anna! Watching from Singapore! 🇸🇬

Very honest and nice review. I sprayed the "original" (2004)version of Dior Addict on my arm tonight, and YSL Black Opium Le parfum on the other arm. Both have amazing siliage, but right then and there i could not even smell the YSL le Parfum!!! Only the Dior Addict (2004), Let's just say, however the potent vanilla is in theYSLl Like e parfum, it shys compared to the original Dior Addict. It's obviously different to the version that is out now. Old/original one is way more woody, tonka, and spice-heavy, and less floral.

(been on an unfiltered opinions binge) YES THANK YOU and no, not every sweet or spun airy sugar fragrance = BR540! Neither does an ambroxan note a BR540 dupe make...I don't know. Maybe my nose is broken but none of the fragrances touted as BR540 adjacent are anywhere close to me. Except for some of the actual dupes, there are definitely a few that clearly try to be BR540 (but don't quite get all the way there 😉: dossier and finery)

I would recommend creatively Shanghai from zara if you looking for citrusy scent. Very strong on the citrus note but there’s the sweetness from cardamom that make it so unique! Amazing perfromance as well

"Incensée" in French actually means senseless in English, so it implies vanilla taken to the next level lol. I can see how that can be misleading since it sounds like "incense".

I’m a gourmand, warm florals girl. BUT Florabotanica is heaven sent for me for summer, it’s the ONLY fresh perfume I love.

Enjoyed the video! If you’re looking for a great citrus fragrance I recommend Omanluxury Overdose. It’s unisex, absolutely stunning perfume. One of the best citrus/floral combo I have ever tried. I think anyone can wear it. Smells clean and fresh and niche

Another great one, more sweet and feminine is Lukomorie by Carner. Mouthwatering. I have both Overdose and Lukomorie in my collection, can’t wait to wear them in summer!

Definitely can appreciate your honesty! Some perfumes are just way over hyped. Personally hated very good girl. Just wasn’t a vibe for me.

Agree with you on the summer scents! Only got hibiscus palm and I don't understand why e very perfume has to smell the same for summer 😆. Also finding it really challenging to find a citrus scent that I love. Most of them smell like a toilet spray or just too sweet.

Yeah that green apple in the only one intense is prominent but blended in the beginning, I can see the green grape juice vibe especially sweetened by the other notes 😂 love it though! Makes it fresh in a way

Ok so I ordered from Genre Parfums after you talked about their Apples fragrance. I am in love. I picked up 5 samples of his fragrance oils and I am addicted. I am wearing his Virtuoso scent now

Love these kinds of videos. I have a lot of similar thoughts on these as you. I’ve tried a lot of aerin fragrances and you’re right they are like water! I didn’t even like hibiscus palm, but I only sprayed in store once and dismissed it. I do own one from their private line called ambrette noir that I love. I wouldn’t say it’s beast mode but way better performing than their regular offerings. Also they have amber musk d’or in that same line which also smells amazing and has better performance than the original. Thinking of maybe picking it up. An amber fragrance I’m loving right now though is jeroboams ambra!
I’m like you with the sunscreen note, I can’t stand it. It repulses me actually 😅 I’ve only found ONE frag that had a little bit of that vibe that I like and it’s silenda d'ecume by Oren. I’m still on the fence about it as I’ve only worn it once but I did enjoy it. Need to keep testing it as it gets warmer but it’s one of the only fragrances that I thought had a little bit of that sunscreen vibe but not in a nasty way. Definitely sample it first.
Burberry her is awful. Doesn’t compare to b540 in the slightest. People thinK everything smells like br540 these days 🙄 and guess what? They’re WRONG LOL. Florabotanica was meh for me too. That was one of my first blind buys like 3 years ago and it was a big let down. Sold it immediately. I do like tardes but in moderation and in cooler weather. Not worth full price, got it at a huge discount. It’s not my favorite fragrance by any means but when used right I find it comforting and it tends to get me compliments. Palo Santo by the house is awful though. 😅

I like this kind of video so much!!!! And I think is so useful to know What do you truly think about some popular fragrances. I haven’t tried many of these because I can’t find them in stores in my country, but now I have an opinion about them.

I just received Wonderland Peony and Absolutely fell in love with it…it’s so juicy and tart and such a happy scent, and I really want to try more of them but i can find them only online..

Miss Dior is not a women's perfume, it's for girls-- unsophisticated, young girls who just want to smell nice. Hence the name "miss." Don't expect too much out of it and you won't be disappointed

I know this is an old one, but I think it smells better than light Blue. I love Tommy Bahama St. Barts for Women, much better fragrance in my opinion

I was so disappointed with Burberry Her. I was almost upset just to have it on my wrist. 😂 I couldn’t believe how hyped up it was and that baccarat comparison?! No. Smelled very juvenile and synthetic.

Interesring you don’t get the burberry her DNA since its created by the same perfumer as Baccarat Rouge 540, Francis Kurkdjian himself. Obviously it’s not the same but still made by the best nose in the business of today… Ots not the same but you can absolutely tell it’s made by him. That is why people compare them. For the DNA not about whether or not it’s a dupe… 😘
I know this is an old video but what would you recommend instead of Vanilla Insensee? Looking for something in the woody vanilla ballpark which I know is your jam!

I cannot stand for this Atelier Cologne and Burberry Her slander! I'm joking of course, everyone's entitled to their own opinions. Atelier Cologne is possibly my favorite house, and Vanille Insensee (not incense, it's more like "insane" I think so I guess crazy for vanilla?) smells ethnic to me lol it smells to me the way sugar coated fennel seeds taste and that is v nostalgic to me. Burberry Her smells just like artificially flavored strawberry candy to me and I'm so into it.
My favorite citruses are Atelier Colognes, especially Pomelo Paradis and Pacific Lime and a close third is Clementine California. Orange Sanguine used to be my favorite and after I finished my mini of it + several samples I bought the giant 200 mL bottle but a couple months into that it started to turn weird on my skin 😔😔 a shame because it's such a realistic peeling-an-orange smell and I wish it had stayed that way on me. But I also like citruses that are a bit cleaning-product-y too.
Need to try Hibiscus Palm again… I think I loved the Aerin fragrances with the blue and green cap ☺️ Honeysuckle and I forgot the name of the other

I only found your channel today and this is the 2nd vid I've watched (both your unfiltered opinions) and I have to say you make me LOL...a lot! Very enjoyable watching, so thank you. I guess as I watch more I may find the answer to my question but I'm curious to know what your collection consists of given that you're obviously extremely picky! I could use a bit more pickiness in my perfume selecting lol.
You must hate In the Stars from Bath and Body Works. I think Dior everything is boring because I don’t like florals. What about Good Girl Supreme? I’m guessing you probably don’t like it.

Also random, but I remember you saynig you wanted to get roja 51 parfum concentration and a couple people mentioned it didn't last - I have it in the parfum concentration and I will say I find that it lasts if I slightly overspray! Not a power performer by any means but I get soft wafts all day

If I don't like Very good girl will I not like Delina? I just don't seem to like berry/fruity scents because they come off too artificial to me. I love rose though and the other notes listed in Delina.
Not necessarily, they share a similarity when it comes to their scent profile but they are still veryy different! Delina is in a whole other ballpark, a serious masterpiece, I’d give her a shot! ❤️ Nothing in Delina comes off artificial :)

Very Good Girl smells exactly like the scent they use in scented tampons. True!😂 Its ok, but I'd never fork over money for a bottle. I like the original.
same for me with miss dior! i had to scrub it off. gave it away immedeatly but when my friend wheres it thats all i can smell.
Omgosh! I was so freaking excited to finally try Burberry, and they both make me gag. It's just gross. Like I can't even put a name to whatever that astringent and sickly sweet scent is in there but it burned my nose so bad and triggered my asthma 🤢
I blind bought Dior poison girl edp and lived to regret it. I had seen so many reviews about how great it was. It’s awful to my nose, stale apple juice.

Yes yes yes!! 😂 I hate burberry Her& intense, I don’t love BR540 but don’t think it’s similar… and they are sooo artificial 🤢.
I couldn’t find any Boucheron that impressed me, for ambers Grand Soir is 10 times better and I also much prefer Caftan.
Florabotanica is not horrible being a green perfume and also having a note of cannabis but meh….
Hibiscus Palm is the only tropical that I like… all the other ones smell to sunscreen and I find that very unpleasant.
Delina is sooo much better than VGG 😹
I was very disappointed with Tardes 😢 I loved Megalium tho! And also El Born in the drydown.

Omg i am so with you on people saying Burrbery is a dupe for mfk 540. As you said they must have a broken nose😁 also light blue furniture polish thing is so real! If you have a chance try Atelier Des Ors Pomelo Riviera, nice citrusy freshy actually performs pretty well at least on me.

i agree with u about some of these , i don't like straight up citrus fruity smell like Dylan Blue or si Passione or light blue or angel or gucci guilty i hatted them and the too sweet ones like all the lancomes 😂 and dior poison and hypnotic poison was trash to me and coco noir smells like old carpet and prada la Femme made me i don't exaggerate made me sick. and i hate ylang gives me rotten smell that people call it beach vibs , ohh boy i love to see what people hate more that what they like , thats give me a save blind buy experience 😂
