I love how much you love music and collecting. You must be tired, between making time for family, digging, filming videos and your store, it can be a lot ... but you're blessed.
I was very blessed to see Daniel Johnston and the Nightmares in 2007 in Dallas. He wasn’t really allowed to tour per se, but did shows from time to time, and they played at the Granada Theater, and it was very interesting. VMP just put out a great little compilation of his music, but the drag about whoever compiled the tracks is there’s only one song from 1990. So that one I’m gonna have to hunt down.

I stopped by a nearby record shop on Saturday and they had just bought a huge jazz collection. I think about 1500 LPs. They hadn't gone through them yet but pulled out a sealed Elvin Jones album for me after they asked who I liked. Because there was no way of knowing which pressing it was the shopkeeper gave me a decent deal but not too low. I called him when I got home to tell him it was a later '78 pressing (and not an original '68) and not to worry that it was a $100+ LP that he sold for pretty cheap. He immediately said "I owe you ten bucks...come back and I'll give you ten off of anything...sorry" I told him it wasn't the reason I called but I'd take him up on the offer. I went back yesterday and score a NM Jeff Liberman "Solitude Within" unofficial copy for $15 (I was shocked to find it) and seven FREE(!) records all in perfect condition and some of the music is killer stuff I've never heard of. It was a good weekend.
I was just listening to Deja Vu today! Your room gives me chill vibes dude. Thanks for the bomb vid. I’ve said it before but I discovered and re-discovered some much loved music out there thanks to you. Your efforts are appreciated, man! Happy Thanksgiving (from Canada) ;)
OK, I need to get this right; is your name spelled DYLAN or DILLON? I’m seeing it both ways. I may have missed your video where you explain how to flatten warped records. Could you maybe explain that again? Thanks and keep up the awesome work!
The OCS are insanely good saw them play a number of times during the warm slime era. Insane live. th-cam.com/video/wk1FNmFVOdY/w-d-xo.html Here's a clip from one of those shows, only a few showed up so they just played in front of the stage and had the audience surround them.
Fantastic heavy rotation! Lots of great records! The first three Danzig albums that are sealed in stores now are all bootlegs right? I haven’t been able to find any. I guess I have to hit the local shops more often here in Michigan. Awesome Samhain albums! I like what you said about your son speech pattern. I have a linguistics degree. That’s quite fascinating that he picks up different words from other languages so easily. I bet he’ll be able to put that into good use in the future.
My danzigs are the originals, hard to find but this is the obsession I have chosen 🤣 Yes, I’m sure he will find a way to change the world. He’s brilliant!
That sticker is so absurdly ridiculous on such a cool record I think you just got to leave it on! It’s definitely one of the worst cases of record defacement I’ve seen in some time!
